Review Centreview Cafe - Greensborough

Slowest service in Australia. They just chat and waltz around and do not much of anything. Fine if you've got nothing else to do in your day and/or don't have hungry kids.

Great little spot. Nicely located with an inviting, open outlook. The coffee (strong flat white) could’ve been a little better, but not bad. The pie and chips were great!! Most pies are rubbish in Melbourne, but these are worth the price (a little more dear than most). Good, honest, friendly old Café!

Straight away was told "no outside food" even though we weren't intending to eat it there. My friend was then told rudely to tell her daughter to pit away the sushi, she's only 3 yrs old. Coffee & hot chocolate was not worth the wait or money. Was very watery. Do not recommend this place as I feel they are not child friendly at all.

I have been going to Centreview Cafe for 10 years, and for 10 years I have enjoyed the same great iced coffee with fresh cream. I love their all day breakfast (it's great value, always hot, always tasty) and get that regularly. The warm chicken salad is also awesome. I don't know about the other meals as I am gluten intolerant. I have enjoyed fairly good service there, especially from the waitress Pauline who always greets you with a smile. Sometimes the food takes a little while to come out during peak times. I'm not sure what other reviewers are talking about with the food cause it's always been great when I've gone there.

Worst latte (it was just milk basically) and croissant (I think it was a week old). Never go near this place!

Have been going to this cafe for years at least once or twice a month. Sunday the 27th of May we went there for lunch with our 3 year old. He saw us buy a tub of ice cream from the supermarket & wouldn’t stop hounding us for some. We asked for a bowl & spoon just to give him a little bit for some quiet while we ate but the manager said no. Got up & left. Worked out we spend on average about $850 a year here. Wont be going back again & with the amount of cafes opening in the centre you really can’t afford to lose repeat business.

Usually ok cafe. Not great but usually consistent with mid priced mid quality food. Wasn't happy today though with my egg sausage & tomato breakfast. Egg and tomato were fine. Undercooked sausage not so much.......

I waited 23 minutes for a takeaway coffee that was so hot I burnt my tounge and bitter that in the end I threw it out. What a waste of time and money that was. Can't say I'd be rushing back any time soon.

Compliments to the male waiter who was not accommodating of my preferred seating request - due to his outstanding customer service skills and delightful demeanour, I enjoyed a lovely latte at Degani Greensborough instead!

Best sandwich I have had from around here. Highly recommend and would definitely order again. Plus the nice waitress accommodated my sandwich order without hesitation.

My mum and I came here for lunch and knew we made the biggest mistake once our meals came out which consisted of a undercooked piece of toast dripping with butter, a pile of cold soggy spinach and a cold poached egg. NEVER will I EVER be returning here, absolutely atrocious.

i’ve been here once and found the food to be quite abysmal the service was lovely but over all the cafe is a little boring i must say, possibly because of the clientele but it lacks atmosphere and i found that there was nothing special and with all of the competition with cafes these days i will not be returning

Wonderful friendly and down to earth service. Super clean, lovely food at affordable prices. We had cakes and biscuits all were fresh. Very accomodating too. The best cafe in the centre!

My favourite cafe in the plaza!
We absolutely love their fresh muffins and home made meat pies. They make a lot of their food on site which is a rarity these days! Affordable, good service and I can see why it's so hard to get a table! Coz its yummy!

I was so excited to go here and was disappointed greatly.
The service was terrible. It took staff 10 mins to greet us.
No water offered. Waited longer than usual for the food (and it was not busy)
Forgot the side dish we ordered and a coffee and then preceded to over charges us.
All whilst the staff stood chatting to each other about their night.
It was a Saturday. Perhaps Sunday is better for them.

The staff were polite and prompt with there service. I had a Soy Latte and apricot toast with a clean table and airiie view.

I have received better service and food from mcdonalds at 4:30am. Burger was tasteless, dishes prepared like slops, salad constituted of; one tomato slice, one lettuce leaf and 3 slivers of carrot.
