I have been going to this fish and chip shop for the last 25 years. In short, and I think it has the best fish and chips in Melbourne! Flake, potato cakes and dimmies: crunchy, golden with the perfect degree of oilyness. Absolutely love it! Definitely check it out

Don"t usually leave reviews but came in for a quick bite to eat last night and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service by one of the young girls who served me. She was very friendly and made my experience extremely enjoyable. Food was good too, will be returning due to the welcoming and kind customer experience.

Fisherman's bite has been a staple at the civic centre for decades. Service is attentive and all food is cooked fresh. Enjoyed a piece of whiting, potato cake and chips. If in the area and have a hankering, worth a visit.

I keep coming back here because the food is so damn good! Nice people who run it also. This place might look modest, but is a little gem in this area.

Really good fish and chips! Generous serving sizes and always quick and friendly service. Would definitely recommend if you're a local or in the area.
