Review Aj's Cafe - Greystanes

Amazing cafe one you must vist. The team are always smiling and wanting to help. The food is delicious everytime i order and i go out of my way to order something different everytime i visit and i am always impressed with the flavours and presentation of the food. If you have a sweet tooth like me, they got you covered while you sip on your delicious coffee.

The menu is the standard cafe style, but with a bit of a Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern flair. It's not extensive but they have a few sweet and savoury options. You can also build your own breakfast with the al a carte menu. I like that I can get a lamb kofta with my scrambled eggs at breakfast time. The coffee is good too. They still haven't returned to seating inside, but you can get a spot outdoors on the pavement. The big breakfast is $26 which seems on the expensive side and the portions aren't massive, but the food is fresh and delicious.

Pancakes had nice crunchy outside but not as fluffy as I'd hoped. Disappointed as the pancakes looked better in their social media pics. Nice coffee though

AJ's consistently have great coffee. I stop past here sometimes on my way to work and I haven't been disappointed with the coffee yet. I regularly get an iced latte & soy latte, both are great with very silky milk. We did try the banana bread which wasn't the best but everything else is great. Keep up the good work 😊

aj’s is the best cafe in the area. Pretty great food and coffee with even better staff. Sammy always makes us feel welcome, with casual conversations making it really feel you’re more than just a customer. if you’re there for a quick coffee, or breakfast, this place kicks.

Always receive such lovely service whenever I come here especially by Sammy. She always comes over and has a chat with me and my partner and makes us feel very welcomed. We love the coffee too!

Tried out this hip cafe this morning AJ's cafe Greystanes opposite OLQP Church looks great had the Avocado smash was yummy but coffee was even better!! If you're in the area drop in and grab a bite or cuppa. Staff were really friendly and service was up to speed didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes. Will be back for sure!

Finally a Cafe in Greystanes to go to for breakfast instead of Granatas !!! Great Coffee and amazing food !!!

Friendly atmosphere and wonderful service. Had the Smashed Avocado dish and it was perfect for a light lunch. Love the quirky water drink containers. Enjoyed also a selection of desert items with friends too. Sitting out in the al fresco area was pleasant. The open feel when we ducked inside to pay was great. I would say to anyone with toddlers that you will need to strap them in a pram as the "escape artists" will have a field day.

Friendly staff as soon as you walk in, coffee was great plus the Eggs Benedict. Could of asked for a better start to the day. Thank you

Loved some of the ideas here and I think it's a popular cafe among the locals. <br/><br/>I was looking forward to the knafeh crepe but I think they chose to do a pancake instead, which was too thick and didn't work with what the concept was trying to achieve. The pancake at first, slips from the cream (my photo shows this) which is why I don't think a pancake stack works with this, although the cafe disagreed. Happy for difference of agreement but food should not be slipping at first sight (even with a stick trying to balance it). <br/><br/>Roasted pumpkin was nice but the rest of the dish didn't match up to it.

This is a cute cafe! Has amazing coffee and friendly service. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. I enjoyed the middle eastern breaky with the eggs and Lebanese sausages and had great flavours.

Just find this cafe on my way to Merrylands and come to have soy Cappuccino. It was ok.. not strong enough.. and I came back with my husband to try the food.. the food looks great by the taste just ok.. the baked egg looks so plain.. 1 egg , chorizo and lots of tomatoes.. to pricey for the taste and size..

AJ's great location, great coffee, however with the açai bowls have noticed the 'lack' of actual açai in the $15 bowl.<br/>We did advise the staff of the very shallow acai overshone by the toppings, however was told this was a recent change as this is how açai is meant to be eaten.<br/>If you fix this one glitch we will gladly return! We have seen other reviews saying the same thing but that was months ago.

Been twice. Friendly staff. Not the quickest service (both times)... acai bowl was really yummy however not enough acai - mainly toppings (not complaining- I love toppings).. I ordered poached egg on wholemeal toast w/ smashed avo- presentation was okay however taste was poor. The smashed avocado in my plate was mixed with fluids for whatever reason I don’t know which lessened the eating experience for me. I will however try another one of their menu items in the near future as I really enjoyed their acai... give this place a go!

Coffee is good, service is great! Acai bowl was nice light and refreshing! Especially on a hot day. The food is always good, these guys really do look after their customers! Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice place out west!

Went to the one in greystanes and would definitely come back here! The service is quick, portions are generous and food is delicious 😋 I ordered the breakfast stack and my only critique is that I wish there was a bit more balsamic glaze but other than that left feeling very satisfied with my meal! Also ordered a side of fries and could not fault them, so yum!!

Arrived and were immediately greeted and offered a table. Teen waiters had excellent service skills and manners. Drinks and food were served quickly. 10/10 for both food and drinks. I will definitely be coming back here.<br/><br/>There was one older waitress who was a bit abrupt and served drinks by holding the rim of the cup.. that is my only complaint.

I don't know many Cafes in Greystanes area so pretty excited when AJ's Cafe opened. Coffee is great, from Campos. I've tried their scrumptious French Toast and love it! Thick, soft and toasty housemade brioche covered in sweet cinnamon beetroot sugar. Then they were dipped in silky and smooth maple walnut custard. Unique and generously portioned too.

Waited 40 minutes for a coffee and a smoothie. Our food still hasn't arrived after a further 15 minutes despite being told " three minutes". <br/><br/>No apologies from the staff, left hungry as our food still didn't arrive and still had the audacity to charge us for the coffee and the smoothie. <br/><br/>Fuming.
