Fantastic place. We go to Little Guildford for breakfast almost every week. The menu is great, the food is fantastic and the service is the best. I highly recommend the porridge on the winter menu, also looking forward to trying the croissant French toast.

Tonight we enjoyed a candle lit dinner with delicious food, fabulous wine (Picardy Merlot 2014), and friendly professional service. The winter dinner menu was fabulous - compliments to the chef (pork cheek in romesco, soft fluffy gnocchi with a very light blue cheese sauce, beans with hazelnuts, tiramisu, pudding) **Sigh** We'll be back!!!

i went here with my grandmother and we both loved it! the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and is a great place to sit for hours and speak with someone over a coffee! out waitress was a kind and bubbly girl, so a very pleasant experience.

Very nice little venue that happily takes walk-ins, we had 5 adults, a child and a pram. Great prices, fast and friendly service. Food came out really quickly and was delicious. Keen to come back and try the beer garden in summer!
Fantastic location, especially when you get a roadside table on a beautiful Sunday morning. Inside seating is a bit basic so try and get outside if you can. We had pancakes, eggs beni, omelette with sliced beef and a veggie breakie which were all first class. Coffee was so good we had 3 rounds. Got busy around 10am so we were glad that we got in early at around 0830 and they dont take table bookings so be aware. Worth the drive down Guildford Road for a great morning out!

Have wanted to try little guildford for ages but always seems packed on the weekends; so we finally decided on a weekday brunch catch up. And so glad we did. Food and coffee were amazing. The service was outstanding, the lady who served us was attentive and extremely helpful. Great outside ambience as we had prams. Was a great experience, will definitely be back.

Little Guildford currently is open for breakfast and lunch until 2PM, with an earlier opening time on weekends – and they have recently opened the delightful Little Vines bar and café out the back of the restaurant which I have reviewed a week or so ago. Anyway, there is a choice of indoor or outdoor seating and today, on a warm if a little overcast day, out the front among the trees and gardens looking out across to the historic Rose and Crown was an easy choice to make. We settled in with a glass of Oakover rose to await our food – the wine list is exclusively Swan Valley wines, which is welcome being, as it is, at the gateway to the Valley.
Super relaxed atmosphere and chilled vibe with plenty of breezy shaded areas to enable comfortable outdoors dining, even on the hot Guildford day’s. A/C inside if that’s more your thing. The food was absolutely divine, pictures don’t do justice to the amazing flavours and fresh local produce. We will definitely be back!
Generally the food was good, I ordered the pancakes. The only issue I had was with the service. I went when it was a quiet morning and it took 30 minutes to get a staff member to take our order.

We decided to go for lunch here as a treat out, we both had Eggs on Fire and boy were they on fire, tasty, the poached eggs beautifully runny, have eaten here for dinner too and no complaints, friendly service and not rushed.
What a gorgeous cafe! Really really enjoyed our breakfast. Tried the Truffle & Parmesan Mushrooms and Eggs. OMG. The perfect combination of perfectly poached eggs, tender flavoursome mushrooms, freshly shaved Parmesan, herby pesto goodness and strong lovely truffle oil. Party in my mouth! Pretty food presentation too! Em loved her Avo Smash, with the addition of feta and tomato. Nice strong coffee. Will be back
Nice little cafe which is good for a catch up with friends and family. We had brunch there and the food was great. The coffees was good with quality. The service was a bit slow though took a good 15-20 mins for the food to arrive. I would visit again.

Am a little bit spoilt, breakfast in bed is brought to me most days, so when the FWO is interstate I struggle…. a couple of weeks ago when the FWO was sunning it up in Darwin, I dragged myself out of bed and wandered up to Little Guildford for breakfast. Prior to my decision on where to have breakfast, I looked up LG’s menu and decided to have either the “Avo Smash” or the “Mushrooms & Truffle with poached eggs”. Alas, once I got there I couldn’t decide which one! The very helpful waitperson said she would ask Chef if he would do half and half, which he kindly did.
Sensational breakfast, reasturant was busy but service time was good and food was really nice. Serves were generous, will certainly return again.

Little Guildford never disappoints. The menu is terrific & kid friendly (vegemite toast, pancakes etc) and the serves generous. Quick brekkie catch up with friends and the staff were friendly & helpful despite the Sunday morning rush. Great coffee, lovely venue & decor both inside & out & quick service.
I'd been coming to Guildford for quite a while before stumbling across this cafe nestled across from the Rose & Crown and have come back for breakfast many times since! Its a relaxed atmosphere with a garden out the front giving a fresh feel. The staff have always been very friendly but the food is the real highlight. I can easily recommend the steak/chicken open sandwich or eggs benedict - the chilli potato cakes you get with some dishes are also well seasoned and delicious. Coffee has been well made too.
Update: The quality of the food seems to have gone downhill over the past year. My favourite chicken sandwich is gone, the potato cakes now have some indian spices that don't work and the remaining menu items don't appeal to me personally. The coffee and service is still excellent though.

went for Sunday breakfast here. the waiting line was long but it didnt take long at all to get a seat. Staff was very attentive and they made us feel very welcome. Everyone was very friendly. We had eggs on fire and the breakfast burrito. very delicious vegetarian and gluten free option. Coffee was good too. would definitely recommend this place to my friends :)
Wonderful! A beautiful, leafy green setting, plenty of shady outdoor seating. Friendly, smiling staff who are extremely helpful. A gorgeous herb garden out the front. Menu is fantastic (we had breakfast), great variety and gluten free/vegetarian options. Dog-friendly! Very happy :)
Been here for dinner twice in the last month and it has been such a lovely experience. Wait staff are more than helpful. The gnocchi with lamb shoulder is a stand out; the flavours are so well balanced. Dessert menu is so good it's hard to choose between meals. I got the ice cream sandwich and my partner got the sticky date pudding, both were delicious! Love the outdoor seating with candles at every table. Very romantic
Went here for lunch with a friend and 3 kids. Inside and outside seating options were both nice and roomy. The kids menu actually consisted of REAL food like sticky ribs and chicken thighs and not the usual reconstituted chicken nuggets. Very child friendly but also big enough to get away from kid diners if it's not your style. Nothing too fancy about the menu, but the food was done well, particularly the Greek lamb salad. A really lovely place free of weird eclectic decor, nice staff, no long waits and honest simple food done really well.
Harry and I have breakfast here on a regular basis, and the food has always been tip top. Great service from all the staff despite it being incredibly busy on weekends. When you arrive, one of their lovely waiters takes you to your seat, and if you already know what kind of coffee you want, they take your order there and then. Not only that, but they have amazing freshly squeezed juices. And their coffee? Absolutely to die for. Hands down best coffee I have had in Perth. Eggs are always perfectly poached and great flavour combinations on their pancakes and their food in general. Great overall, if you want somewhere cute and delicious for a nice Saturday or Sunday morning, this is the place to go!
The Croc Rockers stumbled upon Little Guildford during one of our Cafe Discovery Rides because we were looking for a funky cafe in Guildford. We rolled past several on the main drag, noting that some other cyclists wee there. This one appealed because of its outside garden ambience (credit that to Yellow Croc). It was well patronised but we saw a table with bike parking space around it. We were welcomed by staff and parked and sat in the shady, roadside garden setting. We were quickly served. The four of us easily found appealing breakfast choices, including "Eggs on Fire". Serves were big and the coffees passed the test. The "coffee roulette" score is 4 rocking crocs for a macchiato with milk on the side...a little too short! Overall, the Croc Rockers were pretty happy with this Cafe and would probably be happy to visit again. That won't happen though because our mission is to discover new cafes every week!
Great place for weekend breakfast and coffee. When we take our dog walking we like to sit outside with her. One of the staff even bought a bowl of water for her. Some times the wait can be a little long but considering how busy they get on weekends its understandable. Our food as always been nice and I especially love the pancakes.

One of our more pleasant lunches in Perth. Warm outdoor sunshine, spring flowers and nice weather added to the overall impression, but food was indeed quite delicious. Only trouble is I've asked for a medium rare steak and it came well-done. Otherwise it could possibly be a 5.0 rating.
For so long I have been meaning to check out Little Guildford (opposite from the Rose & Crown Pub in Guildford) as I’d heard their brekky’s were divine. So a couple of weeks ago we finally made it for breakfast. I am happy to say, it was as good as I had heard but it was the little signs yelling out ‘we are licensed now’ that really caught my eye. And yes I spent most of breakfast looking over their wine menu to suss out whether booking in a dinner was worth it.
Breakfast at Liitle Guildford is awesome. The coffee is great and the banana smoothy is fantastic. Try the avocado stack!! Great vibe outside as well.

Went for dinner here the other week. Everyone had a great time, even with a 2 year old. All the meals were delicious and very well presented.
The place is small but this seems to add to the atmosphere really well. The service staff were great and really easy to talk to. This place really is a hidden gem!

First visit to Little Guildford last week for dinner with 9 other people and we were all very impressed. All our meals were equally delicious and of high quality. Loved the atmosphere and the service was friendly, quick and efficient. Will certainly be making another visit. Will have to visit for breakfast next time.

Sweet and bright, and for most of the City well hidden. The dinner room is beautifully lit (though only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and the tables mostly large; this is a place to bring family and friends. It exudes an effortless warmth, the customary CBD pressure and aloofness is notably absent. BYO with well shaped glasses; brisk, polite, helpful and smiling service and a menu dotted with comfort, though it is curious that a red and green curry can exist on the same menu as Oysters Kilpatrick and Lamb cutlets with a Harissa jus. It all seems to work. The said curries are soft and warm (though presumably purists would find issue) and the lamb, even though it comes with unseasonal asparagus is very good. The sticky pork rib started with a clever beetroot BBQ sauce is excellent and the un-pictured seared scallops are thick, giving and translucent.
Best pancakes ever! Had a lovely breakfast with a couple of girlfriends & 18 month old toddler. Coffee was fantastic, sour dough toast scrummy & the pancakes were devine. I will definitely be back as this is local for me

Made our night!. First time visiting Little Guilford last night. We were there for my partners birthday in a group of 12. The outside courtyard was perfect for a summers dinner. Our waitress was helpful and very attentive. Food was immaculate and everyone enjoyed their meals including, pink snapper, pork belly, chargrilled beef/prawns. We took our own cake and the staff were kind enough to bring out with candles and then plate it up beautifully for each diner. I can't recommend this lovely restaurant enough, it made our night really special. Can't wait to back to try their legendary brekkie!

Best Breakfast around!. Absolutely love this place. Being a Guildford local there's so many great breakfast options around, but this is by far the best and so is their coffee!

We nearly licked our plates!. Many of the reviews here are for breakfast and brunch, but we had a small group visit for dinner last week and it was excellent. A cold wintry night, yet the atmosphere inside was cosy and the staff welcoming. There was one lady who took our orders and seemed the most switched on - perhaps the owner? The other younger staff were polite and friendly, but not in the same calibre. The meals ordered were delicious, and we all just about licked our plates clean - the fish special was beautifully cooked which is a good test. Meals arrived in good time. Drinks service was pretty much serve yourself, which for a BYO is fine. A good night out, and a cut above others in the area.

We had nice brunch at Little Guildford today. They have usual & unique brunch dishes. My "Breakfast Burrito" was nice, tabasco definitely brought the dish to next level. Hubby's "Steak Sandwich" was nice, love their thick wedges. If the steak was thinner, I'd be even better. Service by young ladies was good. Well done Little Guildford.
My current favourite! We've visited Little Guildford far too many times to admit to over recent weeks, I am in love with the food and Mr Doe is equally enamoured with the coffee so it goes down well. The staff are always very accommodating of our toddler and service is quite prompt. Between us we've done the buttermilk pancakes, fruit toast, the croissant, the breakfast wrap and eggs Benedict with bacon plus numerous coffees, hot chocolates and babycinos and there is not a word of complaint towards anything. Premise is also lovely, everything is a huge improvement on the prior establishment!
Humming. Visited 8.30am Sunday morn. Place buzzing with customers, small queues quickly ushered in by efficient waitstaff. Gorgeous decor - rustic mixed with 60s vibe. Food fabulous. Partner & I shared buttermilk pancakes. Mouth-watering. Tempted to order more as delicious food was carried by (avocado mash looked popular & tasty). Great coffee.
Never missed a beat!. So, I have always raved on about other restuarants in the Guildford area to friends as I do love the area, but this one is a true gem! It really has something for everyone and nothing has ever been too hard. The staff are great, quick and friendly, the coffee is yum and the food is just to die for every single time! I love the fresh menu and the outdoor seating is great on a gorgeous Perth day and the inside is nice a cosy during the cooler months. I am mostly a breakfast person but i cant wait to visit for dinner!! Kudos to everyone at Little Guildford, I enjoy dining here most weekends!!
Little in size, Big in Quality. Little Guildford produces highly presentable, mouth-watering food at very reasonable prices and with excellent, attentive service.
The breakfasts have now become 'all day' and worth trying - especially the eggs benedict which comes with the choice of ham, bacon or salmon.
The dinners are delicious, although a tendency for a few too many mushrooms.
Located in a quiet, restaurant strip in Guildford surrounded by heritage buildings and nearyby heritage parks, this is an excellent destination for a coffee through to significant meals.

Went there a few weeks ago with my wife and daughter. Fantastic service and they customised a main for our daughter with no fuss. Is a little pricey but in my opinion they use good quality ingredients. We will be back !

Booked in for breakfast and this place was busy so really glad we booked. We often have breakfast out while on holiday. This is by far the tastiest cooked breakfast we have eaten out. Topped off with great coffee and excellent customer service. It was worth the wait for our food.
The outside verge eatery is so pretty - wooden furniture, blossom trees and flowers in hanging pots... The resident Alsatian quietly roaming table to table - greeting guests, accepting pats and visiting the staff at their prospective posts. Good coffee, delicious breakfast - one delightfully friendly Barista and one pouty, post-pubescent adolescent possibly needing more of her own caffeinated beverages to brighten her attitude and widen her smile. More pricey than some other local establishments, but a genuinely enjoyable experience for an impromptu, rather freezing, midweek winter breakfast with hubby!
