Review Emilia's Cafe - Gympie

The best coffee in town. Wonderful food and service. This guys really pride themselves on everything they plate up. It is wonderful watching the place evolve and I am looking forward to the renovation and expansion. If you get the opportunity stop for breakfast and have the most fluffy scrambled eggs you have ever had.

Wow!! This was such a quirky experience. Loved the space, loved the coffee & loved the food. Very unique and friendly environment. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.

If you're ever travelling through or staying in the Gympie area make sure you stop in and see the lovely ladies at Emilia's. I discovered this gem only recently during an extended work stay and it is the perfect place to fuel up for the day's activities. Great menu (hot, cold and vegan options), one of the best coffees in town and the retro french chic atmosphere makes you want to forget about the days work, kick back and relax. In the words of Arnie, "I'll be back.."

Breakfast was so good that we ended up ordering a picnic lunch here as well! Amazing service, delicious selection of sandwiches and baked goods, the home made lemonade was top notch and Puncheur coffee as well. Can’t wait to visit Gympie again just to come back.

Amazing food, flavoursome and generous portions. A little expensive but well worth the money so didn’t mind at all. Friendly staff and great decor.

Real Coffee! Rare find in country Queensland. They serve real coffee and the nougat is to die for. The service is friendly. The shop reminds me of a store in Europe.

Gorgeous Cafe. If we didn't look up nice cafes online we wouldn't have known about this place. The staff aren't very welcoming. You kinda have to find your own tables. They don't make you feel comfortable either. Even when ordering they weren't very accommodating with a slight change to menu. Ie scramble eggs instead of poached. But my hubby ordered scrambled eggs with his toast. Menu is very limited. Coffees are cute in their tiny cups but again I prefer bigger ugly cups then less coffee in cute cups. A smile would make massive difference to this place especially because their food when it came out was delicious. They are very generous with their avocados. Don't know if l would come here again. Service is massive. As important as the food.

What a great place to have lunch in the historic city of Gympie. Beautiful French sandwiches for a reasonable price. Got a really nice vibe and a staff with a smile. However, no wifi, will be an added benefit to this great cafe. <br/>Coffee is rich and creamy with good flavours. Will definitely come back when in Gympie. <br/>

Great Coffee and a very indulgent menu. Just lovely. A must for breakfast or lunch when you are in town. A couple of new additions to the menu if you haven't been there in a while. I love the local muesli bowl.

Such an oasis of continental civility in the little town that saved Queensland. Beautiful food and pastries and exquisite coffees. Come here and enjoy a lovely break. Travellers welcome.

Was passing through and I can really see why it's rated so highly. <br/><br/>Emilias really delivers on all fronts. <br/>Quality food, drinks, service, ambience... The whole experience was unexpectedly astonishing.<br/><br/>Their meals and drinks are all home made and it's a huge factor of why they're so great. What a wonderful, warm, delicious little italian cafe. Between two people we had the prosciutto Pia Dina and roast chicken panini, as well as the dark hot chocolate and the white hot chocolate. 😍

Absolute treat to have lunch here today. The food is top quality and delicious. An air conditioned and very comfortable little deli with a relaxed ambience accompanied by gentle background music. I savored every morsel of my panini lunch, it was incredible.

Coffee is as good as Melbourne and it has a quaint country olde worlde atmosphere combined with genuine service and European arrogance at the same time. Nothing wrong with a bit of arrogance if your product is above average😀. I didn't eat on my last visit but the food going out looked great, albeit priced accordingly.

This must have been the most visited cafe I visited whilst I was in Gympie! Maybe four times? I have recently completed my work here in Gympie, working as a night owl and changing my circardian rhythm. Some days, after a busy shift, I will treat myself to good delicious treats and coffee from Emilia's, which is THE place to go!

I have always been too lazy to bother creating an account to leave a review, but this place is worth it. Stopped in Gympie on our way home from a holiday in Hervey Bay - best meal of the trip! Delicious.

Great coffe, atmosphere, food and the owners are awesome. All the cakes are made in-house. Highly recommend the baked cheesecake

Lunch at Emilia's was lovely. The food, coffee and tea (Mariage Freres) were excellent and the place has great ambience. I would definitely recommend it!
