This has been our favourite spot for awhile. However, we came in for dinner on Saturday. Food was delicious, as always but very noticeable smaller meals for the same price.
Family had meal there tonight, so disappointing..I had the cesar Salad and I couldn't eat it, there were that many anchovies it made the Salad so salty it was inedible..plus two of our family members had finished their meal before we even received ours....won't be back again

Excellent meals, plenty to choose from on their expansive menu and prices are pretty good too. Can order drinks and meals via mobile app from table which is convenient. All staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed so much we ate there 3 nights in a row!
Had a lovely Roast of the Day recently. Huge portion for the price. Would love to see a thicker gravy on these meals. It always seem to be no taste and very watery. This seems to be in a lot of restaurants. Very well run otherwise 👍

We were disappointed with the food. We have been going to the Phoenix for decades and always had a great meal, but lately not up to standard. My lamb shank was hard and dry on the edges, very overcooked (yesterday's?), although delicious in flavour. Service was, as usual, excellent.
