Last Saturday we had a small group enjoy the delights on offer at Hazelbrae House. It was absolutely wonderful, the food, the atmosphere and the service were excellent and I must recommend this be added to your adventures in Tasmania. Close to Launceston its a short drive to Hagley, so worth the drive.
Once again Nathan you excelled
Had lunch today with my boys after the Rupertswood Farm Maze And once again didn’t disappoint
Food was amazing, my boys didn’t eat Zucchini till today they had it in hazelnut oil & smashed hazelnuts .. WOW
The lamb was to die for and apparently they are never eating lamb again unless we come here ha ha ...
Thanks again Hazelbrae we will be back !
A beautifully quiet setting with yummy food and drinks. I had the gluten free date and hazelnut cake which was served warm. Absolutely delightful with a cappacino with hazelnut oil. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a relaxed ambience and great food.
Called in late for lunch the chef turned the grill back on our grilled cheese and d leek sandwich was so tasty the cafe was full of local hazelnut produce I brought the hazelnut oil have yet totry the oil but will return to the cafe
My daughter and I came for lunch today and we had the Vegetarian Pumpkin Risotto shared meal! It was amazing! We also loved the Focaccia bread, mushrooms and the salad that was served with the meal. The Espresso Martini’s were also fabulous! We will definitely be back for more.
It was a very hot day in Tassie, when we travelled here. With our duschund daisy, so we could not eat inside, .verandah was far to hot as well. Chef opened the umbrellas on the lawn and politely served us there. Lovely and cool and a bowl of water for daisy. Food was yummie. Will be back. 5 star
Had the most delicious dinner with friends last night Hazelbrae House! 5 courses, all as amazing as each other. The atmosphere and staff were 10/10.
Lovely location, staff and terrific food. Many more things to try... like the banana and Nutella milkshake 😲 I will have to go back!
We had a fantastic night ... food was absolutely amazing.
The crazy Hadspen people will be back!
Thanks for a great atmosphere
We took three friends who are visiting to the Valentine’s Day Dinner at Hazelbrae House. We all decided it was our sort of food and service. Fresh, deceptively simple dishes, presented in an aesthetically-pleasing but un-engineeered way, with great tastes, wonderful service and a pleasant setting. And it only cost $48 for three courses (two choices each time), as well as a shared opener of delicious focaccia with thin slices of pork coppa. My favourites were the salmon entree, the Aubergine Parmigiana and the tomato and zuchinni salads served with the main meals. The flavour and textures were fabulous.
The cafe opens for lunch every day.
The restaurant opens every second Friday night.
Do yourself a favor and experience this beautiful place, amazing scenery, food and service. We will be back many times
