Review Indian Express Street Food & Curries - Hahndorf

We used to order from here all the time but the last few times haven’t been very good. Not sure if they have changed ownership or chef but the food isn’t as good as it used to be and the last 2 times has taken over 2 hours to arrive and when it has arrived it’s been cold and this time spilled in the bag too. I ordered at 5:38pm and it arrived at 7:54pm. I called a after 2 hours to check on the order the first time the lady hung up on me and I called back and got a man who said I could pay $48 instead of $58 but I wish I just cancelled. They also used to do a free dessert (Gulab jamun) when you got it delivered and I guess they don’t do that anymore either.

The best vegetarian curry dishes we had for this SA vacation! Even better than some of my favorite Indian restaurants back in Sydney. Vegetarian curries are full of flavour and creamy, price is also good in a tourism location! Staff are all very kind and nice!

We love this restaurant, food is very close to what we had while in India. The samosa chat and ragda Pattie’s are fantastic, as is every other dish we’ve tried. Highly recommend

So good food visit first time in that restaurant. We ordered veggie curry nd 2 chicken curry. It was so good my husband like garlic naan as well. I recommend to my friends as well. Keep it up 👍🏻 so good food must visit guys.

What do i say, we ordered online at 4pm knowing the restaurant opens at 5pm, it's after 7pm and no food yet. I have never given a negative comment abt any local business however today I had too. I have 3 hungry children and 1 elderly on medication and we are support to celebrate my son's 14gth today. Just so disgusting

The lady who delivered the food was very sweet and considerate. The food is average. The food color in the chicken Tikka masala was so high that the color is not coming off our hands or the table. It is unbelievable that all the rice dishes were made with jasmine rice and not basmati rice. Haven't seen this anywhere else. The curries tasted good.

Delicious food! We loved the naan and eggplant massage. Service was good and fast. Great value too!

Absolutely incredible. Our curries were packed with flavour (and from real, whole spices) i could taste the smoky tandoor flavour, mango chicken was sweet and packed with spices, the lassis are delicious and not overly sweet, and the naan bread.... simply the best. Thank you guys for a delicious dinner, we will be ordering again soon!
