Yep I can confirm that this place lives up to its notorious reputation. I’ve been to about 20 shops in Hahndorf, all were extremely warm and welcoming until I came to this spot. Seriously don’t understand why they won’t allow photos in the shop, it can only boost their business but hell I just went ahead anyway.
In all seriousness, charm free staff and expensive produce. Was in and out in 2 mins.

Not sure why this place is getting negative reviews. Went to get a beer glass and some sausages and the lady was so nice and funny. The sausages tastes awesome.There was a request not to photograph the items. I fully respect the owners wishes. Everyone should. Will be definitely back.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. The rudest person I have ever come across in hospitality . I can understand all the bad reviews. If I could give a minus review I would such a shame to have someone like that in such a lovely town. Don’t bother to stop here

Went in to buy some Kransky and peruse some other goods for an upcoming party and was stopped dead in my tracks. 🛑
The woman behind the counter was so incredibly rude and hyper aggressive, I was simply stunned 😲
There's no need to interact with people like that, so just simply left. Hahndorf is a beautiful town with so much to offer visitors and tourists from all parts 🌏
Avoid at all costs so you can be assured of a pleasant stopover in this widely welcoming little village 🏡

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Old bitter lady has lots of attitude and isn’t friendly at all. Definitely lost this shop a sale today.
Maybe some classes in customer service would do her good, although, I don’t think anything can fix that sour face of hers.

Brought some very authentic garlic and red wine sticks. Delicious. Tasty and chewy. The lady behind the counter was helpful on some cheese suggestions. Goid mustard options. Just had one for lunch....exactly what I wanted on fresh bread with tomato!

My mum got locked inside the shop and wasn't allowed to talk to people on the outside... Seriously?? Also you can't take photos inside for some reason like it's a top secret Uranium enrichment facility lol. Also everything costs 3x what it should so just buy it online.

Was repulsed at the treatment this weekend when all I wanted was a juicy delectable bratwurst and jar of sauerkraut. Old woman served us and shut a door in my disabled friends face who is in a wheel chair due to capacity limit even though there was only 2 others in store!! I saw some suspicious looking WW memorabilia which looked very much like N*zi memorabilia. Ended up leaving and found I had been cursed as well as I dropped a glass later in the day which is a common German curse. Not happy will not return.
