Great place to stop for lunch. Good menu and all home made. We had the lambshank and the pumpkin soup. Lactose, gluten and vegan friendly. We also bought some local honey. Nice fire to sit beside as well. Excellent.
Stopped for a late lunch here and ordered the spaghetti bolognese. It was clearly reheated in the microwave including the pasta. The pasta on the edge of the plate was dried out to the point of being crispy! The bolognese sauce was watery and bland. Couldn’t actually force myself to eat it.
Shame as
Had the curried sausages that were bland but edible. The spaghetti was microwaved within an inch of its life and not edible. The cafe was quirky looking and interesting. Shame about the food.
Didn't read reviews in advance because was only getting a coffee and most coffee I have had in Australia has been great. That was an error. The welcome we recieved was lukewarm at best. We paid $4 for coffees made on nespresso machines. Given that I have a proper coffee machine in my own house, I fi
Really lovely owners, had the pea and ham soup and chilli con carne. Both delicious. Very quirky decor and loved the log fire
Honestly, I don’t know how they got 4.5 star rating. The coffee we had this morning was one of the worst I’ve ever had. The waffle wasn’t baked. It seemed like it was marinated in the oil. The only reason I didn’t give 1 star is because the counter lady was nice.
Yeh it’s pod coffee (nespresso), but its hardly terrible and no different to what you’d have at home and rave about! Good range of sweets and the outdoor eating area is nice. Friendly service and nice enough spot - not like there is much competition either with only two cafes in the town!
Beautiful location but worst coffee in a while. Food just okay. Nice people and good garden area. Wouldn't come back.
