Review Fazio's - Hampton

Great service and pizzas were delicious. A nice casual place for a Sunday afternoon lunch/dinner. Don't be fooled by the facade, there is a beautifully air-conditioned space in the rear of the shop with ample room for groups. We were a group of 8 including kids and were comfortably seated. Waiter was also friendly and helped us decide on portion sizes etc. Would definitely come back.

Big generous portions for the entrees. Mains were very nice. Great pasta and the rib eye steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Only bugbear was they didn’t have chilled wine and admittedly said they had to run to the local bottle shop to stock up, so the wine provided was warm and took an excessive amount of time to come out. Silly mistake on their part and we expect more for such a well known establishment such as Fazio, hence the 4 stars. Will be back again though 👍

Enjoyed this delicious crispy skin barramundi with sweet onion gravy and tender leeks. The pizza here is fantastic too! Always amazing dishes and great service at Fazio's. It's one of our favourite restaurants in Hampton! :) We had another beautiful meal tonight! Veal Lasagna & a wood fired pizza! Absolutely love this place it’s true Italian flavors and so deliciously fresh! Always keep me wanting come back for more! One of the best Italian Restaurants in Melbourne and a true hidden gem! 😉

We had a family meal there recently. Service was fast and friendly, the Siena Pizza was exceptional, and so were the entries. The red wine was served hot, but they put it in an ice bucket which improved it.

We dined in for the first time we ordered Spaghetti bolognese, napoli pizza and sticky date pudding to share, everything was perfectly delicious beautiful flavours and friendly/exceptional customer service. Very pleased we will be back 😊

Been going to Fazios pretty regularly for years & was a stand out, good food & BYO but now the same as so many other italians, no longer BYO so have to pay $40 or $50 for a bottle of ok wine & not going to do that for a local restaurant. Still get takeaway occasionally but we have found a few other byo italians that we can go to instead.

It's been a few years since last visiting my regular pizza shop and the quality is still as good. Changed pizza this time and that also did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere and prompt service. I shall make a point of returning again more regularly! 👍

Wonderful ITALIAN restaurant. Of course being of Italian descent id be partial ... but Food fantastic especially 🍕 Pizzas abd italian salads wuth roast potatoes or chips. I am Vegetarian so the southern Italian pastas and sugodoros Are my favourites... if not Vegetarian, try garlic steak or Spaghetti Bolognase. Mamas Cake with short black or zabaglione... they do great takeaway pizzaz of all types

Wow! Amazing! All of it!! The food was fantastic! The best gnocchi I've ever had in a restaurant...& I order it everywhere!:) Desserts were also delicious. The restaurant was full (Valentine's Day) and we sat down, ordered & finished our meal all in 35mins. Pretty impressive for a full house. The staff were attentive, they are all happy to assist you. None of that "oh this isn't my table" crap. Impressive atmosphere, a great surprise when you walk past the pizza making station at the front to the dining area out the back. Can't wait to go back for the pizza. My new favourite place to eat out. Wish I found it sooner!

It's not bad but it's not great- especially for the price point. I had the scallop and prawn linguine pasta which was alright while my husband had the monkfish fillet & thrice cooked chips (both are chef's specials) which was sadly underwhelming for $37. The fish was well cooked and tartare sauce was okay but the dish could definitely do with more than a few chips for the price tag. Oh and normal chips would have suffice. We expected more as a chef's special. The Parma pizza was very average, unfortunately having sundried tomatoes and olives all on the one pizza overpowers the beauty of what could have been a good pizza.

Loved loved this restaurant.We were visiting from Newcastle and it had been recommended.The waitress that night was exceptional and the food superb.

It’s average and over priced- Bolognese tasted like sugo bought from Coles, pasta was nothing special... no oil or bread on the tables, pizza bases are too thick! Not in Italy anymore.....! La Svolta is my Hampton street Italian recommendation great food and vibe.

Really good pizza, like really really good. The crust is fresh, toppings just right. One tip.. ask for chilli oil. Their chilli oil is so flavoursome when drizzled on the pizza. <br/>The tiramisu slice is massive and amazingly tasty. <br/>Overall a solid 5 stars.

3.5. The pizzas from Fazio's are pretty good, with the Calabria my fav of the ones we ordered. The Abruzzi and Genoa were also nice. It may not be my fav pizza joint in Melbourne, but would recommend if you're in the area.

Came with a group for dinner. Ordered a small size pizza for myself and antipasti to share. The pizzas are Woodfired (the only way to eat real pizza). The base was super soft, and nice and crispy. Plenty of toppings on the pizza but the olives I found where too salty too eat. Maybe there were too many of them on the pizza, and sometimes a little can go a long way. I ended up taking the olives off and just ate the pizza with the ham and mushrooms, which later lacked the saltiness from the olives. My husband had the pizza from specials board which he said was one of the best pizzas he’s had in Melbourne. Had a lot of really good flavours. Staff were super friendly, our waitress apologised many times for not being attentive enough due to having a large number of coffee orders. So was very happy with the service. Overall good experience.

Longterm customer of Fazio's but was very disappointed with my most recent order. The pizza was okay nothing special for the price. The calamari was bland and soggy when it arrived. Understand that not all food travels well for delivery, but I suggest they put rocket in a small separate container and don't put it on hot fried food. The result is soggy and overall the dish was a mess. Was $23 too. I think for the price the food isn't up to scratch and there are too many other Italian restaurants to choose from to return.

A quick pass by walk and just turn up since we were super hungry. Quite an authentic Italian restaurant with open kitchen where all yummy foods are cooked. Very nice mussel tomato sauce and the chef is kindly reveal. Absolutely attentive and friendly staff.

Fazio’s pizza is a real slice of Italy hitting the spot and the pasta was absolutely delicious the moment it hit my lips. The staff were incredibly lovely.

The manager walks around almost topless with her bra/breasts completely exposed!??! How could her team not say something it was INSANE. We have never seen anything like it. Completely unprofessional and outrageous, when we are out for a family meal. I never seen anything like this in my life!

Fantastic as always, the best garlic cheese pizza around. This place never lets us down been dozens of times and never had a bad experience.  Linguini Dimare, Greek Salad and of course the pizzas are highly reccomended. Tried a lot of other Italian Restaurants Bayside and none come near Fazzio's.

Very average and underwhelming food at a very high and rediculous price. Never to be back, not recommended to any one. There is a much better one next door.

Take away pizza is good but I have dined here once and wasn't too impressed. Service was not too good and the place is so small and loud. Still good for takeaway though.

Always bustling! Have been coming here since I was a kid and now get take away when I collect my daughter from my folks on Friday nights! The seafood linguini is amazing. The seafood is fresh and perfectly cooked. The pizzas are also incredible. Perfect family restaurant, excellent food and great atmosphere.

Best Gorgonzola gnocchi I've ever had, so rich and flavourful. Down side is it's always busy so you have to book way in advance or you'll never get a table.

Came here a while back with the boss for dinner in between shifts, great meals, everyone was so friendly, really good vibe in the place.....

We had our first visit for our anniversary dinner. Food came out in a short time even though the restaurant was full on a weekday night. Pork belly with scallops entree was delicious. My seafood pasta was great with a variety of fresh seafood. My husband's parma pizza was ok but not outstanding. Both pasta and pizza came with two sizes and they were generous with the portion given. However, the restaurant was quite stuffy inside with the pizza oven and low ventilation. We also noticed some greasy fingerprints on one of the plates.

This has been a staple for our family celebrations for years and upon returning recently I know why. Everything on the menu is done brilliantly. On this night I had the risotto special with pancetta and goats cheese this was simply so tasty and the goats cheese absolutely made the dish. We also sampled the delightful wildfires pizza as an entree. The desserts are also to die for! I need this now!

Went there last night for dinner. I had not been there for many years. We ordered a pea bruschetta that was meant to have melted pecorino on top. It came it was cold .The cheese had not been melted but was sprinkled on top. None of us enjoyed it. I ordered a risotto. I went to put salt on it and the top had not been screwed on properly so it poured out onto my food. They saw what happened offered to make another one. We were in a rush and wanted to get the kids to bed so didn't want to wait. So that was not ideal but they tried to handle it well. The food was well presented but nothing special. The salad was good. My husbands pizza was average. Kids food looked quite good. Expensive

Been here once before, a while ago. It's always so busy. If I remember correctly the food was pretty nice. This time round we only came for dessert. I was on the search for tiramisu again.<br/><br/>Our waitress told me that it was made that day, so it wasn't completely set. She was right. Some of the sponge was still really dry. Did it reach my top 3? No, not at all. If it had another day to set, it still wouldn't get there. However my friend had the panacotta and said hers was amazing. The waitress also recommended the brownie over the tiramisu, so that's what I will do next time.

We experienced great service even on a busy Friday night. Noisy, but no more than usual for a popular, family friendly restaurant . <br/><br/>Good quality food, even through the menu is predominately pizza. Do not order gluten free pizza as the bases are soggy despite their best efforts. The bases are not house made unlike the normal pizzas. When I complained they went out of there way to try and rectify the problem by making me a second one. Unfortunately the pizza was still soggy in the centre. I give them full points for trying to fix the problem and for the many apologies. The prawns on top of the pizza were delicious, fresh and juicy. <br/><br/>Everything else was well cooked and tasty, especially the calamari. The bill was also a pleasant surprise; very good value especially for this area!

Wood fired pizza has traditional Italian style base, which is chewy and delicious. The toppings they use are of good quality, and I am yet to be disappointed by their service. Keep up the good work.

What a lovely Italian restaurant. Wonderful wait staff and most important of all, beautiful Italian food which is hard to find these days. The wood fired oven pizzas are superb- you can't go wrong with any.. If you're however expecting a pizza topped with loads of ingredients, then this is not the restaurant for you, as the pizzas here are done the traditional Italian way. Thin, crisp base and lightly topped with quality ingredients. The seafood pasta is also scrumptious and the portion generous. Bookings essential on busy weekend nights as we were turned away when they were extremely busy.

With half a dozen other amazing pizza restaurants along this busy strip. This guy has stood the test of time, the original and the best. Fazios is the godfather of pizza on Hampton street.

Cute little Italian restaurant with a good ambiance. The Carbonara was amazing, the pizza was good, however the calamari was lacking seasoning. Overall a good restaurant but a bit pricey!

Fabulous. We shared an entree prawn pizza, which was delicious followed by an entree size gnocchi and an entree size sea food pasta. Only complaint was we couldn't finish all of the dishes but the friendly staff put it in a container for us to take home. We don't live close by but will defiantly return.

Amazing pasta and pizza, food comes out fast and fresh. The base was crisp and crunchy which I like and no too heavy on toppings so it can be appreciated... Staff are courteous and attentive. <br/>Pasta servings are generous with unique flavours and if you want extra chili they have that too with a minimum of fuss

I simply cannot fault this place. They have been a stalwart on the Hampton St strip for as long as i can remember and it's easy to see why. Authentic, home cooked italian food that is incredible. The wood fired pizzas, freshly made pasta and the bread that is baked on site are reason enough to make this a regular visit. <br/>The BYO option is also inviting (corkage $7.50 per bottle) along with the extensive wine list. <br/>Service is efficient and friendly and nothing is too much. I requested for some bread to accompany my Veal Lasagna and received two thickly cut slices with butter... Heaven.<br/>From ordering to eating we waited maybe 15 minutes which was impressive on a Friday night at full capacity. <br/>A great ambience and a mixed local crowd of old friends, young families and date nights, it caters for all.<br/>I will be back in a hurry as the gnocchi looked too good to miss out on and the berry crumble dessert (sold out before we could get some) needs to be experienced. <br/><br/>A must for the Bayside local, or worth the drive if you're not from around here...

Authentic and delicious Italian cuisine in the heart of Hampton. We love this Italian restaurant for its simplicity yet delicious Italian cuisine. It also serves both delicious array of pasta and pizza (a good compromise for my husband and I, who loves pizza and I love pasta). My favourite is their 'Linguini mare' (served with fresh mussels, green prawns, white fish, calamari, white wine, parsley, garlic and a touch of tomato). Their special dish of veal lasagna was also heavenly. Our favourite Italian restaurant right in the heart of Hampton!

Amazing. Always get the carbonara and garlic bread here. It is always exceptional and the service is great. It is always busy, even on a Monday night! Definitely recommend :)

Simply fantastic. I had left my run late for our anniversary dinner (30min prior) and the helpful team at Fazio's worked hard to squeeze us in. The waiter was 6 star. The food amazing. They produced chilli mussels not on the menu that were to die for. Great experience and I highly recommend them. Thanks Fazio team for making a night not to forget for the right reasons

Bad front of House - great food. We have been to Fazio's 20 or 30 times and always loved the food....but last night....how disappointing to have such a rude pony tailed turkey letting ppl past his fortress entry. We had booked 2 hours prior.....there were tables everywhere and still he held us standing there for 5 minutes saying we had no booking..."what time did you book" he demanded...."well that was me"....."no nothing here".....then he has a light bulb moment and he sees Anna on the list.......how hard is it my wife's name is Anne. Just too smart by half and upset an otherwise good meal. I would love to talk to the owner. Idiot's like that ruin restaurant vibe

Just delicious!. We booked dinner at Fazio's expecting another crowded and busy italian restaurant... Yes it was crowded (you HAVE to book it!) but let me tell you: the penne ragu was just divine, just like my nona's... And we had a glass of amazing italian wine with some tips from the owner. I"ll definitely will came back!!!

Fazio's strikes with the ravioli. I went the restaurant with my girlfriend and the sfaff was very polite and we ordered some scalops and crab ravioli. the dish was well presented and were big portions.The surprise was the amazing flavour of the sea that melts in your mouth.The texture was just perfect as you can find in the finest restaurants in Italy. For sure they have a good italian chef. Definitely a place I wanna go back.

Great food. Crap service. Really enjoy the food at Fazio's but yet again the service is pretty ordinary. Only got offered drinks once and was left with the dessert menu for atleast 15 minutes and couldn't get any ones attention to take our order. Yet there was a gaggle of staff standing in the kitchen area chatting. Food 4/5. Service 1/5.

Awful and Tasteless. Worst customer service I have ever received - especially in a good area full of Italian restaurants! La Svolta was 1000 times better when we dined there a few nights ago, and is conveniently only a few doors down. They incorrectly took down our food and drink orders, offering no apology and not even offering to fix their mistakes! Absolutely awful staff attitudes, were standing around in the open kitchen drinking beers and on their phones when we were clearly dissatisfied. NEVER AGAIN!

Amazing pizza and pasta and a menu that is regularly updated with new specials. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Last time we had a really nice young waitress who was very good at her job and made the meal even more enjoyable. She seemed to really enjoy her work & kept checking to see if everything was ok & to top up drinks.

My absolute favourite Italian restaurant! I'm very fussy and I can say the quality is amazing. Very generous with lovely ingredients every time. Linguini di mare is to die for. Defiantly worth a try.

Fundraser champions and good pizza. These guys came to our rescue for a charity event held for people living with cancer. All involved enjoyed the pizza and we thank Fazios for their contribution.

Fabulous Fazio's! :). I have had the pleasure of dining twice at Fazio's so far and in spite of being someone, who is not easily impressed by restaurant dining, my only regret is that Fazio's is located so far away from where I live (Bundoora), but it is definitely worth the trek across town and then some! The Food is fresh, delicate, inspired and prepared with a passion and experience that shines though every scrumptious dish! The service is friendly and attentive, the selection of dishes is varied, intriguing and top notch and the wine list reflects a great understanding of flavor combinations and quality. I am quite surprised to see Fazio's classified as pizzaria and grill, as this restaurant is so above and beyond the ordinary and whilst the menu does feature a nice array of authentic, fresh, flavorsome Italian pizzas, in my opinion this wonderful family owned restaurant is one of the best authentic Italian gourmet kitchen's in Melbourne featuring the yummiest, fresh and simply clever culinary delights. I give them 5 out of 5 stars! A+++

Been getting fazios for a good 5 years now. In that time my family and i have never recived a bad meal or a stuff up. Very consistent all the time. Always get take away as I only live around the corner. Rack of lamb, Italian potatoes and gnocchi grogenzola a big favourite. The pizzas are the way traditional pizzas should be, thin, minimal good quality toppings Tried many in the area but none will ever match up to fazios.

Popular. This place is so much more than a pizzeria. It is just about always busy doing two full sittings for dinner most nights so make sure you book. The early sitting often has a fair number of young children so the noise levels can get up. <br/><br/>But that is how they run this place. It is a big staff and they promote a "family" type feel. The staff are very professional and know how to keep the place ticking along. Despite a full house we never felt ignored nor had to wait too long. <br/><br/>The room itself is not that big and to be honest needs a bit of an update. But the space works well and you soon forget the dull paint and lack of decoration. <br/><br/>The food here is really good. The place probably does itself a disservice by calling itself a Pizzeria. They do Pizzas obviously but they also do a very full menu of Italian entrees and mains and an extensive pasta menu. The quality is well above the standard suburban Italian and some of the specials are quite upmarket. My wife for example had a Spiced Duck and Wild Mushroom Ragu. <br/><br/>The wine list is very good and the prices here are about what they should be, entrees around $18 and mains around $26. <br/><br/>If you are in the area and looking for some good food, this place is a great option....you may need to book though.

Ahhh...The infamous Call33. I love reading and trying to digest mere vitriolic diatribe! Fazio's is a good restaurant......and run, managed and owned by an even nicer family! <br/>A recommendation for you is........speak to the owners when you are not pleased with your meal which may help you, and help a business understand what its valued customers want. Love the food....service.....atmosphere, and especially the Ox Tail!

How the mighty have fallen! .... How the mighty have fallen!<br/><br/>Used to be a favourite local, despite the crammed tables and always loud noise. <br/><br/>Food was good. Expensive for a loud local, but good. Service was always hit and miss but never the stuff of complaints. <br/><br/>BUT...! The last THREE times there, one eating in, the other two take away, dismal failures. Ragu was AWFUL. Gnocchi gluggy. We threw it in the bin - uneaten. Pumpkin fettuccine bland, tasteless. And the piece da resistance - a GIANT overcharge on last pick up, blamed on "the computer" not the very young and clearly out of her depth trainee at the front counter. And then, to make matters worse, a further price mess up when trying to rectify this. <br/><br/>I know this won't bother Fazio's owners - it's always busy there. But let enough customers like me give them feedback with their feet and they may just take notice some day soon. Fazio's - after more than 15 years patronage, I'm gone...

Well worth the visit. Visiting Melbourne from Perth and went there for th first time absolutely worth the drive into the suburbs. Great menu and th Pork Belly Bruschetta was fantastic. Trust me worth going along

Fantastic bayside Italian. Fazio's restaurant have been successfully feeding my family for years. From youngsters requiring simple fast feeding to now, young adults with sophisticated palates. Super Italian Food. I confess I am a regular at Fazio's, but that's because it is always great and there is a really great range on the menu and a whole page of special dishes, which changes regularly - I am there every week, and that's important. The food is innovative italian and served in generous portions. The pizzas are the best for miles around (especially Bari - whole large prawns! and Tivoli that little bit of pesto - yum!), and there is a great range of pastas with a special or two every week, and risottos (a couple on the menu and always a special). I am fussy about risotto, and this is really authentic....just done rice and fantastic flavours - I really like the prawn and leek. Be aware, when I say generous, I mean get an entree of pasta or risotto, so you have room for desert. The calamari this week was perfect - it is always great, this was exceptionally good - a new benchmark. Just go and try it, but book ahead so you won't be disappointed.

Lived up to recommendation. Had a family dinner here recently and I and the rest of our table of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Only minor gripe was despite booking we had to wait in the doorway along with about 10 other people and that we were seated near the back door and the draft from the door to the outside toilet is bitterly cold on a Melbourne Winter's night. Food was divine and I will definitely be heading back.

Had an amazing pizza here recently. Desert was also fabulous! Very reasonably priced for excellent food and very good service.

Fazio's is by far my favorite Italin restaurant! The wood fire oven pizza is never disappointing and the anti-pasto is constantly changing. My favorite pizza is the genoa. Staff are always friendly. Would recommend Fazio's to everyone.

Don't Believe the Good Reviews. Judging by the generally good reviews, I thought that I'd give this place a go. Unfortunately, it was not up to standard. Our waiter seemed to have little knowledge of the menu (when I asked for the Italian Potatoes, I received a blank look) and got my order wrong. Having waited 30 minutes for my Risotto Primavera, I decided to try what appeared to be a Prawn Risotto that I had instead received, as I did not want to wait yet another half hour. The risotto was decent, but certainly not spectacular. The dessert menu is not what it appears to be on the website. For someone who does not drink coffee, it does not bode well at all, as 3 of the desserts are coffee-based. <br/><br/>The waiter was curt and inattentive at best, and my friends and I had to aggressively seek eye contact in order to simply order drinks or indeed, get the bill. Where other waiters seemed clearly more 'switched on', he was not. Also, when we entered the restaurant, the staff seemed to have little idea that they even took bookings. We were forced to ask four separate people to find where we were seated. I certainly will not be going to this 'establishment' again.

Reviews Not Wrong. Took my mum & dad here based on the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The service was exceptional the young man who served our table was friendly, efficient and made our dining experience very enjoyable. The food was delicious I recommend ordering the entree size unless you are a big eater or starving. Highly recommend this restaurant to all!!

Solid suburban restaurant. Excellent service. Good food with generous served, you can order entree sized serves and should if you want dessert. Was there on a Friday evening: fully booked, noisy. Had a good time but not the place for a quiet meal. Would return.

Consistently great food and service. The most recent visit to Fazio's was two weeks ago and as expected it was fantastic! The service was brilliant and the food ... Where do I begin... Our starter to share was calamari, it was fresh, full of taste and a good balance of batter and calamari. My Fiancé ordered the duck and mushroom risotto, good serve and delicious. I ordered the eye fillet steak, cooked to the way I ordered and again a generous size. We were so full by the dinner consumed we had to refuse ordering from the desert menu.<br/>Fazio's is by far the best restaurant in Bayside. Highly recommended!

Wonderful. Have been to Fazio's many times and never, ever disappointed. Not sure why people order pizza, as the remaining menu is out of this world - pasta & seafood is always fresh - it is down to earth (paper table cloths etc) and I always leave very content. When we have guests from interstate/OS - Fazio's is the #1 place I take them, to show off Bayside's excellent restaurants. Loved their cook book too.

Best Italian style pizzas! I recommend the Parma pizza!! Pricey but worth it. And GREAT customer service!

Loved this place! went there on a Thursday night with my gf, Had a great meal. The service was great and our meals came out promptly. We ordered the bruschetta( highly recommend) and the pork belly which was cooked to perfection and snuck in a chocolate mousse ;) We will be definatly going back, great food at decent price.

Fantastic service, Fantastic food. I arrived 30 mins early to my booking and they accommodated me straight away. Service was very friendly and efficent. Food was.... Amazing! I had lamb and meditterarian salad with yoghurt dressing and it was stunning! Highly recommend.

Just went there for the third time. Not sure why. Decided to avoid the pizza after last time, and chose the gnocchi which was a bit like eating a bowl full of glue.

I visited Fazio's inHampton to night with my wife and daughter. what an fantastic evening this has been. On arrival we were met and greeted at the entrance with a smile and escorted to our table. The menu was explained and upon ordering, the food arrived on time and was well presented. The Restaurant was immaculate and very well decorated. The staff new what they were talking about and did not allow us to over order. The food was in large portions and very tasty. The "creme brulee" was the best I have had.The bill was very reasonable. We have found the perfect Italian restaurant. We cant wait to go back to taste more of there fantastic Menu. Antony

Still an old favorite and always a winner with the kids(they get to draw on the tables). Food was of a high quality and the service excellent. The pizza's are the winning choice here followed by the pasta, which are all priced realistically. Other dishes (like rack of lamb or steak) are over priced, small, lack orginallity but are well executed. The only other grip is this place gets very busy, with a lot of people crammed in, can be difficult to move on a busy night (which is every weekend btw). However, saying that we had an excellent night and would go back soon. Don't forget to take your own wine. Enjoy

Jenny. Another great restaurant in Hampton, have been a couple of times and food is always reliable. The bruschetta is just lovely. Ample portions and staff very friendly. Pizzas are great here. A great suburban italian restaurant.

Not disappointed. We booked this restaurant for a family birthday celebration based on Urban Spoon reviews and were not disappointed. The restaurant was packed, which is always a good sign, especially on a Sunday night. The food was excellent, the service was spot on and the portions were really generous. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable meal and very good value for money.

Good food, nice buzz. Pity about the lack of a proper welcome. "Can I help you?" Doesn't cut it. Perhaps "Good evening sir. Welcome. Do you have a reservation?" would serve the brusque manager/owner better. Has happened a few times now -nothing like basic manners to improve the customer experience... otherwise the young energetic staff are great, and I go back for the fresh unpretencious flavours and ambiance.

Had a good experience at Fazios....Bruschetta was one of the best had and goats cheese ravioli was very good as well as the brulee.....steak was serviceable....service was very attentive.....on the whole very good

Disappointing Icon.... My husband and I recently dined with friends at what was described to us as the 'iconic' Fazios...we were left wondering why.<br/>On arrival our waitress went through the list of beers for the day, when we asked her to repeat the list (as its very noisy in the restaurant) she simply flipped over notepad and shoved it in our faces for us to read ourselves....friendly!? Our pizza arrived so promptly we hadn't yet finished our starters, which were just removed from the table to make way for the pizza. Now what can we say about that...littered with food from the Safeway deli, not the divine authentic Italian ingredients one would expect from an iconic Italian restaurant. We felt like we were dining in an upmarket Pizza Hut. Don't start me on the loos, is that your ladies or a storage cupboard?<br/>Iconic we think not, we definitely won't be back.

Best food in bayside. Been going every 2 months for over 10 years and am never disappointed. Food is quality, service perfect. Atmosphere great. Look forward to go again
