This guys have the best Turkish bread I’ve tried .
They have they own recipe . Sauces are pretty fresh and tasty.
I’m so lucky cause I’m working next to them . I’ll be back defo!
Absolutely delicious for takeaway Turkish . My favourite is the mixed grill and the feta pide. You can’t go wrong though at this place , service is quick and friendly
Best take away kebabs in Bayside .. the Lamb doner kebab has become a lunch time staple, and the meals are fantastic for dinner. The Turkish delight is also a winner. Fast and friendly service is also a big plus
Chicken shish with a salad $12 plus a mixed turkish delights box $8, this was my order at Marmaris.
A very good culinary experience as I have to admit the flavours went beyond my expectations.
Friendly and fast service, reasonable price and serving size.
Will be back surely
Recently visited this place and orderer a Mixed Doner along with some Hommus Dip and some of their classic turkish bread. Now the bread is amazing and their hommus dip might be one of the best in melbourne. The Doner however i felt wasnt up to the standard of someother stores i have been too, but at the sametime was not of a bad standard. Will visit again!
Love this place. Best Turkish food going around...... Mixed grill is delicious.
Agreed, with many of the other posts, best Turkish bread . All round great for quick take away mixed chicken and lamb with a fresh range of dips and other Turkish treats.
Best Turkish bread, pides and hommus. There's a reason they've been there for so long! And the staff are always friendly and welcoming too :)

If you want the best Hummus ever, go to Marmaris. I have been going here for a large hummus and the bread since 1989. Whenever we have a function we always come here and get dips and bread and everyone raves.
Lovely family business, gorgeous food. Highly recommend!
Marmaris Takeaway - Brighton & Hampton, Melbourne. Turkish bread is a familar concept to many here, however the store-brought kind does not do justice to how a good quality one comes about. The Turkish bread from Marmaris is fantastic: soft, easy to pull apart coming without the crumbling and when it is warmed up that is when you know how good it is.
This has been a well-known local place for many years, my aunt is a huge fan and when the nuclear family was over at her place this was without hestiation the destination to head to in getting the meat of the nibbles for afternoon tea.
Like any suburban takeaway, there is that low-key charm to it. It is really just a small entry-level apartment space only using the necessities for running the place. The general feel is perhaps the meeting point between a small bakery and the bakery-item factory outlet. This makes it all the more likable. The service to expecct is really friendly and all items are out for display helping making decisions either easier or trickier to make as respectively they look good quality but are so numerous.
With the Turkish bread, three dips were selected: hummus, spinach and carrot. Each one was tasty, with the distinctive ingredients apparent between them. The stand-out of the lot was the carrot, which was spicy and the results were unlike what many would consider possible from the orange vegetable.
Alongside the bread and dips, two pides were gotten: a samsun pide and a peynish pide. I forget which one was which, but what I do remember is one was filled with beef mince and the other was spiced potato. The winner all-round was the spiced potato, but I went to decide and agree with that myself trying them in the respective order. Saying that, the mince one was good in itself however one bite with the spiced potato made me consider it amazing.
Heck, if I am in the area again - particularly visiting my aunt then this is very likely to be a returned-to place. It earns it, as I like supporting local businesses plus everything they do here is good quality. The items that were discussed are merely the share items or starters, as they have kebabs here to sample. Add to that a lot of charm and welcoming service, you then have yourself a place that has only deserved more love from the endurance over the years.
Most excellent Turkish bread and souvlaki is to die for.
Gonna say it BEST BEST BEST hands down the best hummus in Melbourne. Fresh soft delicious Turkish bread, amazing pide....last Saturday we got one hummus and a bread on our way to the footy, ate it all and dropped in on our way home for 2 more of each! Love it!
Best ever. By far the best trukish bread, dips and boreks. The balance and flavours are spot on!
Turkish bread. The turkish bread with hommus is exceptionally good
Family food. Quality ingredients. traditional preparation. foods made and cooked with feeling, ready to take home or beach picinic.
When I was 15 I worked next door and continuously ordered a souvlaki, when I moved away I couldn’t always come back and order but recently I have been near by and ordering again. The fact that 8 years later and it is still as delicious as the very first time I tried one. They are AMAZING! The meat is so juicy and the bread is so fluffy!!! My absolute favourite and I couldn’t recommend Mamaris enough!!
Authentic Turkish street food in an unpretentious setting. Do yourself a favour - go here and order the Mixed Grill. Huge meal for 1 or great to be shared by 2. Freshly cooked on the spot. $29. Enjoy!
Simply superb!! Value for money, and soul satisfying food. The owner is a super gentleman, and so nice with kids! Thank you team Marmaris😊
Delicious generous serves of fresh authentic Turkish food. I had the cutlets and salad for lunch and purchased bread and dips which we demolished for dinner!
Always fresh tasty food for a great price. Obvious they take pride in their food and it shows! Thank you
First time there and will come back again for sure. We had falafel and chicken kebab - both was so flavorful and juicy - worldclass :-)
Best in the city! They make all their own breads, seriously the best in Melbourne!
Eat here regularly and the food is awesome. Top tier customer service as well!
