Close to authentic Delhi style Butter chicken..loved it. The nan bread and mushroom matar were also great. Would recommend this place for good indian food. Avoid Saturday evenings as they seem to be really busy.
Good food. I love their starters specially Chingari tikka. Main course is also good. I would recommend people to try this place.
This place came with recommendations from a foodie friend and it didn't disappoint. The goat curry was good and so was the garlic naan. I didn't like the chicken chilly as much but it did come close to the kind of food we'd get back home. Decent Indian food. Goes for me over other eateries here.
Love this place for some good Tandoori Chicken and Mango Lassi!
Almost everything is quite delightful so you'd definitely come back for more. Considering Harris Park is known for a cluster of Indian delights, definitely check out this place as it stands out among locals.
An example of being favourited is by winning the certificate of Excellence with TripAdvisor in 2017-2019, ranking #1 in the area, the restaurant has consistently provided great service and food šā£
The best in Indian restaurant Harris Park! Malai kofta and paneer curries are amongst my favourites. Their staff are always friendly and accommodating. No matter where I go for Indian, I always return for Not Just Curries because their flavours are too good
Awesome chicken tandoori..had perfect and proper cooked after long search š
Visited this place with a few friends on a Saturday evening. The place tends to get busy so the service may take some time but the quality of food makes up for it.
Tried their vegetarian as well as mon vegetarian menu items and all were good.
We had the soya chaap masala, rogan josh, butter garlic naan, tandoori roti and lacchha paratha.

Indian taste, rich food, good quality and good quantity. Took me back to delhi days!
The good was delicious and a perfect way to celebrate Eid. The atmosphere was friendly, and family like.
The wait staff was particularly good at their job, and I liked how the food tasted. Waiting to go back soon to try more of the dishes.
They have outdoor seating as well but it. Wastoo cold for us.
Very flavourful curries! Great stuff guys! Been coming here for a while now so keep doing the great work! Just for some advice though I would recommend to maybe tone down some of the spiciness if possible otherwise itās great!

If you are going to this restaurant, then speak up about what you want your food to taste like, whether you want it to have more spice, or pepper or have it mild. If you do so you won't be disappointed. I ordered Chicken Biryani, Kadai chicken and one spicy curry whose name I forgot along with butter Naan and boy did they they taste awesome. The best part is that I got $5 discount on the complete bill. I am going to visitbthis place again very soon.
friendly staff , extremely good food but i did not understand the need for them to encourage payments in cash over card. I much rather prefer in cash and that little features the only mishap
This place is always accommodating, great service and friendly staff. Beside that, it has the best Indian food in Wigram Street, and hard pressed to find any better in Sydney as a whole. Love this place, we have been going for a year and itās consistently good.
Non-veg thali was both affordable and delicious. They had plenty of selected curries available and were all good and delicious. The paneer was a standout. The unlimited naan was amazing and fresh. Staff were quick and responsive. 4.5/5
The food here is simply delicious. One of the best bhindi do pyaza sabji i have ever had.
Overall their dining in exprience and take away both are perfect. Simply love their food. Price is little bit on higher range but worth the taste!!!
They serve the best Butter Chicken Delhi Style. Not very sweet, a little spicy. Must visit for this particular dish. Everything else that I have had so far also tasted amazing.
Food was good. Liked the chicken malai kabab , daal makhni and pepper paneer masala was also good
A bit expensive compared to other harris park restaurants but taste is nice
The food was really good. We had mango lassi which was really fresh nd gave good taste.ordererd panner nd roti which was equally tasty.and tge biryani was okok.overall the food was good which kept the tastebuds engaged.
I usually donāt go out to have Indian food as I can prepare most of the menu myself, I prefer to spend money on other cuisines but when I do rarely have Indian outside, I mostly prefer to have it at NJC.
Itās a restaurant located in an area that is filled with countless Indian eateries but this one stands out for me purely on the basis of its food.
We always order the laccha Paratha and the palak paneer, my partner orders the Delhi style butter chicken which I think is a bit sweeter than it should be but Iād rather not tell her that. I would also strongly recommend the pepper goat curry and the awadhi chicken. This place is usually very busy so I can imagine the nuances in service that come along with it such as the wait times but the staff has always been courteous and polite and have always told us about the timeframes.
In that street filled with Indian restaurants; this one is a bit of a winner.

Not Just Curies was recommended to us by an Anglo-Indian friend who grew up in India. Ā It was such a lovely surprise as we enjoy good, well cooked curries and Indian breads.
The food here is great, we ordered Aloo gobi, eggplant curry and roti and rice. Ā My husband had aĀ
Tiger beer and I had mango lassi which was freshly made and delicious. Ā The servings were extremely generous and tasty, rice was light and fluffy. Ā We had very nice friendly and prompt service. Ā The table nearby had the thali (small serves of various curries), which looked interesting and next time we are going to give it a try.
Had a nice dinner.. enjoyed the taste of the gravies after a long time good place for trying out Indian gravies if you are a fan of roti and naans ..
First time here and we love the place and their food already!!
Tawa Goat was FANTASTIC!!! Spicy š¶ and tasty!! The meat so tender !! PERFECT!!šššš
Butter Chicken š
Palak Paneer š
Mango Lassi šš
Definitely will come as soon as possible š
The service was good and fast!! Wonderful!!
The food is excellent and does taste quite homely , I will say the chicken dishes all taste fresh and quite lean and healthy. The only negative is the price but i don't mind spending if the quality of the food is good. The restaurant is clean and the restrooms looked after. Make sure if you are going on the weekend try and book a table as the place is getting popular!
Very nice food, one of the best Indians I've had in long time as it's hard to get good takeaway food in my area. I deffinitley would order again and definitely recommend them.
We ordered take away butter chicken, daal ,paneer with rice and butter naan; daal was good ,we all liked it...butter chicken was least favourite but paneer was good
Hands down, the best chicken tikka I've had in Australia in a long time. Frequently visit this place for the good food. Most of the dishes I've had were very good. The Gobi Manchurian was a bit disappointing though. Limited chaat items but very good however. Service is prompt and courteous.
Need some better veg thali options... Everyone doesnot like karela and aloo matar... Ordered a panner sabzialong with cheese garlic naan which tasted good... The order took a while to come though... Overall had a good experience in terms of taste of food.
Don't get the name but loved the food. Had tandoori chicken, chingari chicken for entree. Both were absolutely yumm, served on sizzling plate, chicken cooked spicy and juicy was perfect for the chilly night. Had malai kofta, paneer butter masala and veg jalfreazi for mains with naans. The malai kofta was beautiful surprisingly not very sweet, paaner and jalfrezi were average, naans were brilliant. Was disappointed with the surcharge on credit cards but that's just a small problem. Will be going back soon.

Had a really good experience in this restaurant. The food was far more delicious than what we were expecting it to be. Taste wise, the food was really close to what we have in India. Decent customer service. We tried:
-paneer butter masala (brilliant ā¤ļø)
-chicken tikka tawa masala (good)
Overall, good food šš¼
Edit: had all you can eat vegetarian thali on my second visit.. it's a good value for money. Tasted delicious. I would definitely recommend you guys to improve the service for thali because you've got a lot of potential. The service was average. Waiters were very kind but time taken was a bit lot. :)
Awesome food and very friendly staff perfect for North Indian delicacies. Will definitely visit them again soon.
A very good option even for vegetarians.
Pretty good food, definitely one of the better places for North Indian cuisine in Sydney. Good service, and the food comes out relatively quickly.
The place is clean and well kept. The modern decor is also a nice touch. Definitely a breath of fresh air in comparison to some of the other restaurants in its category.
The Malai kebab was excellent. The Butter Chicken was really good as well, if not a tad too sweet for my South Asian tastebuds.
Amazing service! Waiters let us know if we're ordering too much for the 5 of us and we won't be able to finish it. Which was very thoughtful of them. Also letting us know that naan would take a bit longer to be prepared. Great atmosphere and delicious food. Will definitely come here again āŗļø
During our short stay in Sydney we happened to visit this restaurant. It was worth going there. Highlight was Amritsari fish & lachcha paranthas. Best lachcha paranthas ever. The curries were amazing. The owner was very pleasant. I canāt wait for my next trip to Sydney so that I can visit this place again. Very nice interior.

Amazing Food, Super Service!
We were on our way to Melbourne just wanted to grab some food. It was tasty and reminded of the food back home! Great work guys, super impressed!
Christmas Day 2016. Dinner with my adopted son and daughter in law and grandson. Food was very good staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially theĀ Sikh Ā Gentleman, he was polite and nothing was too much trouble, he made our evening special, "Thanks for a wonderful night".
As we entered Wingram Street deciding what to choose, Not Just Curries caught my eye. The #no.1 TripAdvisor sign made me decide to go inside. We also saw the 'All you can eat' sign with veg priced at $18 and non-veg priced at $20. We ordered 2 non-veg thalis and a goat biryani. Everything was generously served with amazing customer service. Food was great. We would definitely want to return.
Best Indian food in sydney for me. The goat curry was amazing. Brought my baby's pram in as its quite spacious. A definite try for curry lovers.
Good food! I liked it a lot! You know that you will leave the restaurant with your belly full and a giant smile. Excellent customer service.. always with a smile on their face! no long waits for food to arrive after you place your order too! Can't ask for more.
We will definitely come back to this restaurant ššššš
Been here three times and never left disappointed.
The curries are full of flavour and the staff are incredibly friendly, they genuinely seem happy for you to be there..
The naans are so soft and fresh!
I have tried three different flavours of the Lassi and they're delicious, I haven't got a favourite one.
My team and i had a farewell lunch here today for a colleague who is leaving. I'd not been here before. The atmosphere is quite nice. Good room, great air con. The food selection, the flavour, and meal size are really good. The spice wasn't too hot either - a nice balance between the dishes. The deserts too were great. I had the Kulfi, a pistachio icecream, my favourite. And the restaurant didn't disappoint- it was yummy. I'd definitely come back for another meal - and another Kulfi.
Not strictly a buffet asĀ Ā listed onĀ the Groupon site. TheĀ grouponĀ cost is the same asĀ if dining in house.NoĀ Ā discount ,so no need to buy a voucher online.. The food is deliveredĀ fast and you never have to wait for more food. The very polite waiters are alwaysĀ on the go. Food quality isĀ Ā excellent. Good value forĀ $20 for lunch. A pity that the man behind the bar insisted on us buyingĀ drinks. VeryĀ rude of him asĀ weĀ do notĀ drink alcohol. Perhaps he should change jobs as he is definately not suited toĀ Ā working in hospitality. It was his manner thatĀ Ā will put us off from ever returning for food again. The restaurant was very quiet at lunchtime so no need to book.
Hi
After our last not so good experience we decided to dine in again at Not Just Curries last night to give another chance to the restaurant which has such a high reputation, amongst all.
And i have to admit It was a completely opposite experience than last time. As promised food was delieved and served perfectly. Staff members were so polite and friendly. I was asked about the feedback multiple times during my dining. Absolutely amazing taste of the food. Great great experience. I was proven wrong and it is confirmed that Not Just curries takes good care of their customers and believe in Customer service. There was a bit of delay with the mains. But it doesn't matter when you have such friendly staff. Really thanks to the waiter who served us the food and drinks with a smile. Definitely recommending to friends and will definately come in again. Keep up the good work.
Located just few minutes from Harris Park station and in an area which is inundated with Indian restaurants, this one hits right notes. Right on the entrance door, are huge stickers boldly declaring it is rated #1 in TripAdvisor for best restaurant in some part of Sydney, which I can't remember. Nice seating area outside.Ā
As we entered we were ushered in a 4 seater table. The hotel was quite spacious. I had gone with my friend. I ordered Non-Vegetarian Thali (which wasn't there on the menu but was told is available) whereas my friend had ordered Lamb biryani along with a Chicken Ā 65 starter.Ā
Chicken was tender and spicy but the quantity was pitiably less about 8 small pieces. It was finished even before we knew it. I got my thali placed and my friend got his biryani. He put some on his plate and looking at it a bit closer, we realized there was a mistake. Instead of Lamb, they brought him chicken. I also took a bite of it but didn't like it. It was mediocre at best, doesn't have enough dum in it. Meanwhile food started arriving for me - papad, pickle and dhahi boondi at one serve followed by Dal Makhni, Chicken Curry, Mutton Curry along with Naan. Seeing this my friend got tempted and asked if his current order can be cancelled and he too wanted one thaali. Initially the waiter informed that would not be possible but after a while they agree to change. It was such a nice gesture.
Mutton Curry was very spicy and pieces were very tender. It went well with both Naan and rice. Chicken curry was okay, the pieces were bit overcooked. By the time I was done with roti and one serving of rice, I could feel the fullness. I ordered for bit more rice and I was done.Ā
The best part I felt as part of thaali they were ready to serve again which I never expected any restaurant in Australia would do and it wasn't just the veg that they were ready to serve, even non-veg curries.Ā
All in all we had good time and we realized that next time when we go, we would go without having breakfast or may be skipping previous days dinner!
I've been here multiple times and the quality of food and service is impressive. Last weekend I was here for lunch late afternoon and we ordered desi style butter chicken, murgh awadhi and a vegetable curry with garlic naans and it all tasted perfect.
Keep up the good work guys !
Was craving for Indian food for quite some time, and this area was recommended to us by a friend. Wanted to quench that thirst, so visited that street. While wandering there trying to choose a restaurant, the board outside about their award, made us choose them. It looked very neat inside and the staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. We ordered Jeera Rice, Garlic Naan, Paneer Naan, Chili Chicken and Malabar Fish Curry. Omg! They were all so delicious beyond words. Especially the Malabar Fish and Chili Chicken. We really enjoyed it. And out thirst for Indian food? That did quench, but now we are left looking forward for more and more visits there.
Was really happy with the lunch at this place!! The $20 all you can eat is great value for money - the waiters come around with a 2-3 varieties of meat and veg curries and you can have this with naan bread and rice. The goat curry and butter cheese curry was particularly nice. I liked the overall feel of the place as well. Will be back!
Me and my wife went for dinner today and had an amazing experience here.
The food was awesome and the staff was very friendly.
we ordered mixed veg pakora as starter and found it very tasty hot and basically a welcome change from the usual standard starters. Then we had paneer tawa masala and garlic naan and methi paratha for main course and found those very tasty too.
overall i had a very nice experience and would say for sure that i would recommend this place to my friends and would love to come back here again.
Thanks to the chef and staff of not just curries for making our experience such a memorable one.
Thanks
Sridhar
Me and my wife Sharmi Jayabalan went for a Friday night for dinner...we wanted to give it a try since we had heard lots of good reviews from our friends...the service was excellent and the timing in which the food was prepared was perfect and taste was so good...especially chicken manchurian was too good...a must visit place for anyone who loves good food...had an amazing excellent experience first time so will be going there oftenšššš
Food was excellent. Mango Lassi was Top Notch. Service was good. Restaurant can get a little noisy. Another quality establishment to put on your 'to do' list in Harris Park.
We were there early on a Saturday night. Being there early probably helped as I can imagine it would get very busy later on.Ā
Food was superb, especially the whole tandoori chicken. Service was friendly and efficient.
Kids loved the cheese naan, they scored the restaurant 10/10 just based on that.
Good food and great service. Left the credit card in the restaurant and they bought it to me in the carpark!
Would definitely recommend for a family/team dinner
I love dipping freshly made breads into curries bursting with flavour. So when I heard about Not Just Curries offering of unlimited thali, I just gotta try it. And boy, glad I did! Non-vegetarian thali will cost you $20. It comes with 2 meat curries (chicken and lamb rogan josh) and 3 vegetarian curries (paneer, lentils and eggplant & potatoes). Lamb rogan josh, and eggplant and potato curry are just so mouth watering.
Have been to Not Just Curries twice in last two months. Consistent quality food and service with a smile. Highly recommended if you are after north Indian style food.
Amazing food with perfect indian taste.Service is too good as well. The food was really yummy and apetising. For sure can go the second time. Worth the money spent.

WOW, just amazing, delicious, enticing, friendly staff, knowledgeable staff, the aroma of spices, the presentation of the food and the aura of the restaurant. Not Just Curries is a magical sensation in Parramatta, full of deliciously delightful foods and desserts, I am so happy to have this restaurant so close to home. I wont go anywhere else for my Indian cuisines.
If you want Indian food.. More specifically GREAT Indian food and you decide to come to Harris Park don't bother looking at any other place just come straight here! The food was FANTASTIC and the service.. presentation and atmosphere 5 star!! Highly recommended!
Lovely ambience, courteous staff..just got started with a Tandoori Chicken. It was served on a hot platter, chicken cooked well, sliding off the bone. Once starters were over, we called for main course. We had goat curry and garlic naans. That took a while to arrive. Ask for everything to be served together, that will be a fantastic eating experience.
We went to Not Just Curries to celebrate a friend's birthday and we were happy we chose this place.
The choice of food was amazing and taste was mouth watering. The staff are also very friendly. Will definitely come back again
One of the best Indian restaurants Iāve ever been to. The flavours were simply amazing. There are these fried onion and chicken entrees that tasted really good. The vegetarian dishes like the Dahl makhni were epic. The Naans were delicious and went well with the curries. Prices were fair and you come out feeling pretty full. Place is packed and noisy. The waiters were friendly and give great suggestions - ask for the popular dishes. Food comes out really quickly too. Bring cash for a discount.
Excellent Indian restaurant in the heart of the little India in Sydney - Harris Park. Well priced and food was very tasty (especially the garlic naan and the spicy take on butter chicken). Decent drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) on offer. Staff were friendly and efficient - will definitely be back
Absolutely incredible food, every dish was delicious and the atmosphere was fun and light.
Best Indian I've had in years
The service was lovely too, and everyone had a smile on their face.
Highly recommended!

Food was good, quick service.....quite busy on a friday night... good place to go if yr not in the mood to be adventurous about the food and just want some wholesome yum curries...
My favourite Indian in Sydney!! Came here with a big group and the staff were so lovely and accomodating, had great recommendations for the food, were very accomodating for our mild friends, the food came out quickly and most importantly the food was DELICIOUS. If you eat any Indian in Sydney, eat here!!
Also get the dahi puri - YUM
My daughter and i ate here. It was her first time eating at an Indian restaurant. We had butter chicken, lamb korma, garlic naan and saffron rice. She also had a mango lassi. I had a coke. $70.00. My daughter wants to go again. Everything was just right. The whole family will go next time.
We booked for 1800 hrs which was good because there were a lot of reserved tables.
