Had their veg thali and it was beyond expectations - delicious, ample quantity/portion size and so worth the buck. Hard to find a match at less than $20. Preferred outdoor seating as indoor music was too loud. Definitely going to visit again.
Terrible service and underwhelming food. Took them about 10 minutes to bring us menus even though the restaurant only had 3-4 other tables. Half the drinks on the menu weren't available and the waitress just brought us random drinks instead of what we ordered.
The food itself was very small portion
Dined for the first time here. It has ample seating. One of the restaurants you can go to for North Indian food and sweets.
We ordered the Afghani chicken for starters, chola batura and chicken biryani for mains and a rose lassi.

What a rip off. I will never go to Billus again. Not even one thigh fillet of chicken in a butter chicken that I paid $18.50 for. All sauce and chopped chicken not enough for one serve.
And the pera or milk sweet was mushy and grainy with sugar crystals.
Disgusting.
Absolutely disgusted and angered by the portion size and taste of the "Special" Tawa Goat on display at Billu's compared to the price charged ($26!!!). This dish has been a favourite for my family ever since we ate at the restaurant - we purchased twice last week and once again today - only to come
Fantastic Indian dining experience. Staff was lovely and genuinely wanted us to feel welcome and made sure we are enjoying the food.
Very authentic as the whole neighbourhood is, great way to get close to India not leaving Sydney. Definitely will be back and recommending this place to everyone.
