Low key coastal store with great fish and cheaps and more than reasonable coffee. Gather it services the nearby caravan park and holiday homes but no cheesiness or pretensions. Nice view of the inlet out front and plenty of outdoor seating
The food you guys served us (15 people) was fantastic. We were staying at the caravan park & had been told how fabulous your food was so Sunday we all enjoyed your burgers, seafood baskets & everyone enjoy every bite. Thank you
A definite go-to for me. Usually busy when I go, but there's always parking reasonably handy and a turnover of tables for dine-in, though booking advised. Food is freshly prepared, lots of options, friendly team. Council rest rooms are across the road, usually clean and tidy.
Great personal service from very friendly staff, located next to the tourist park with a gate between the two properties, making it convenient to walk to if you need a coffee or a take out meal (they also have outdoor dining on-site). We got the wrong burger so assume someone else did also. My barramundi was way overcooked, the batter was almost black not golden brown. The flesh was dry and disintegrating. Chips were tasteless. There are many types of takeaway meals, all cooked with a bit more care than usual.
The burgers are large and filling. I always go for a "works burger", a great tasting Aussie style (they add sprouts, which is unusual) .
