Having had chef & owner Lachie Greig-Moore's thrice cooked chips before, I was more than happy to drive over an hour to get my hands on them again. They were as awesome as I remember but (and I can't believe I'm
saying this) they paled in comparison to one of the best burgers I've ever had. I went with the house burger, and naturally added bacon and it was perfection. Perfect size, the actual patty was clearly high grade beef and the proportions of the other ingredients made for literally a perfect burger. And I eat a lot of burgers! I will regularly be making the drive from St Kilda to work my way through the whole menu. Well done guys
After a super strong recommendation, I tried this place out today and it far exceeded my expectations, it was AWESOME! Veggie burger was amazing and the gluten free bun was even better...I've never said that about a gluten free bun! I asked for a dairy free option and got offered avocado instead, which I thought was the best thing ever, until I noticed the gluten free, dairy free, egg free, raw deserts!
Called in today for the first time. What a cute little place. inside and outside seating. Warm and inviting. Fabulous coffee and even better free range chicken burger. So delish ! Mmmm and thank you to the lovely ladies that served us it's so good to find everything in one place great service great food and great atmosphere
What an amazing place. My partner and our son just came here for lunch and just had the best burger and chips i have ever had in my life. Staff are very friendly. If i could give more then 5 stars i would. Highly recommend

You guys are now our go to take away! Whether dinning in or take away the burgers are always amazing! Tried the bagels for the first time today and yummo! Love that my gluten intolerant other half can have almost anything off the menu. Online order is so easy to use. I have just tried the coffee and well you guessed it thats amazing aswell!
Wow grabbed the bacon burger... honestly could not fault it one little bit, amazing, greatly priced and fills the stomach beautifully
Nice food, all fresh. Feel like some of the burgers could be more filling or include a small serve of chips as a side for the price but it's nice to have a good burger place here in Hastings!

So when I comes to new food places the family and I can be a little hesitant, with a child with EpiPen allergies it can be difficult to enjoy a meal out. In saying that Homestuck were very helpful. I called before hand and asked what options there were and took the leap. I had a Big Daddy Mac (it was Father's day so only appropriate) my wife had the chicken burger, and my son had the bacon burger, minus all salad (what 12 year old boy eats salad, no mayo, and on a gluten free bun - normal ones have a egg wash) and the guy who served us was very understanding, once I had given the order I did hear him talk to the chef about it. We also had the loaded fries.
I thought my burger was awesome, patties were well cooked and all the flavours were there, my wife enjoyed herself, it looked very fresh, my son finished his, that is a big thing.
The only notable things were the price of the burgers and the seating, we thought it was going to be busy but it wasn't. Lucky because I can see it being very cramped when it's heaving with people.
I gave 5 stars for customer service and taste. Will be going back again and trying something else. Thanks again for accommodating us.
Amazing food and excellent staff! The staff were so good and checked carefully with us about any requirements we had and if we were happy with certain substitutions. Already can't wait to go back for another burger! 😍
Great food and friendly staff. It's a really lovely clean restaurant. I love that you can see the kitchen and the team cooking your food. As everything is made fresh to order, there can sometimes be a wait in busy times but the staff always communicate this well. In my opinion this place is definitely worth the wait!
Loved the chicken burger I had here. But the stand out was their chips. Maybe a little bit pricey but still very good.
Regular customers here, we spend $80 every week without fail so I don't need to mention the food. What I did want to mention is that you guys do really need to focus on the SPECIAL ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS added to the order.
What is getting increasingly frustrating is that we always put extra instructions on our order and they are NEVER done.
(Even though they are printed TWICE on the docket, very easy to see when preparing the meal.)
It's just little things obviously, but it would make what is already the best burgers we have had, even better.
If you guys don't ever read the special instructions, why bother having them as an option on the menu?
