We go to Hawks Nest a couple of times a year and always make a point of going to Benchmark for happy hour, come on $3.50 beers and wine who wouldn’t! We usually order pizza which is always fantastic but today we ordered the seafood antipasto share plate. OMG never have I had such great value for money for such good food. Here’s a tip for Justin Hemmes the Sydney pub mogul come to Hawks Nest to see how pub food should be! Great staff, great food and amazing value�����

Haven't been in ages. Everything has changed, no restaurant anymore but they still have the delicious bar menu. You can play pool and listen to duets. The cocktails are amazing with new barman, Allen. ������
We ate there on Tuesday night. Had the chicken schnitzel with Diane sauce. Thought it was fabulous. Best meal in ages . From the classic menu and only cost $12.50 for schnitzel and $4 extra for sauce.

We had dinner there last night, we had the slow cooked lamb platter, it was delicious. Would definitely visit again if we are down that way.
Good food and good value. Staff were okay.
The pizzas we had were the vegetarian, the Mediterranean, the Mungo Brush, the Smoked Salmon and the Mexican. The favourite was the Mexican but all were nice. The Mediterranean was a little dry.
We had Somersbys apple cider, Asahi black beer and the Espresso martini which was very nice. The cocktails board below the bar had an assortment of cocktails from $10-20 each.
Good location near the beach and kids playground for an after dinner walk.
Plenty of parking in the parking lot across the road. Toilets in the restaurant were clean.
No happy hour and not able to take dine and discover vouchers despite advertising that they accept them.
Service was great, food delicious and a good range of drinks. Clean amenities too. Great pub. Had the ginger beer battered chips and schnitzel burger.
New menu is amazing. Had the steak and the beef rib. The Rib was amazing perfectly smoked and tender. Like the Tapas style

Lovely bar right in the middle of Hawks Nest. The lasagna was amazing, so definitely a must to try! I also tried the mojito which was good and a great size as well!
Tried the new tapas style/grazing board menu and it was brilliant! So great to see pubs breaking convention and trying something new - and it really really works, with fresh ingredients and big flavour! We stopped here on our way through by chance and are walking away having had a brilliant lunch!
