What can I say, when all the festivities of Glenferrie Road were a bit much, Fonda's delightful outdoor area was a great place to rest up with some chips, quesadillas and churros.
I wish you could swap caramel dip with white chocolate for the churros, but other than that it was perfect.
Nice venue, good food and lovely refreshing drinks…. However, they use far too much coriander for their meals. Overall, recommended.

Usually it's great. But do not bother going on a public holiday. A number of times we've done this and regretted it, never again. 15% surcharge for a substandard version of the usually good portions and quality. We paid $10.35 for this measly box of chips which was barely half filled. Insulting. And
Everyone in our group enjoyed their food and drinks. We ordered different bowls and cocktails, all turned out to be tasty and fresh. I specifically liked the fact that the salad bowls weren’t greasy as they can be in most other places. Staff were friendly and polite.

Just ordered house nachos for lunch, drove through lunch hour traffic from work to go pick it up. Was extremely disappointed to find that the nachos had no guac, no sour cream , no Pico De gallo and no cheese.
Just dry nachos with dry chicken and pickled jalapenos.
