The burger needs more crunchiness from tomatoes and lettuce, otherwise 5 out of 5. Beef ribs was almost perfect, succulent moist and full of beefy flavour. Beautiful crust. Coleslaw was indeed, as promised, fresh and refreshing. Pine nuts brightened up the whole thing. Can't wait to come back.
Really enjoy the burger and chips here. Love the design of the restuarant. Love how there is a sink near the tables where people can wash their hands and help themselves with more napkins etc. Family friendly restaurant. Great staff. Will be back.

The lamb was tender and fell off easy and was juicy and tasty, it was very good. There was a small amount of fat still left on the lamb. The tomato and cucumber were diced which we found a bit weird on a burger. It did have a hint of a kebab taste;
It has a great atmosphere and american feel, we recommend coming here they are quite tasty but they are expensive.
Ribs and Burger's have a really nice, old feeling about it. The sticky ribs and the baby backbone ribs with their sauce are my favourite dish. You could share them with a large group or just a few of you.

We ordered via Uber Eats. It was an order of around 12 burgers and some chips. The order came in around 45mins, still warm... complete with extra sauces. The burgers were so neatly presented not slapped together like many other places. The beef patties were decent quality and size, not the cheap minced beef. Juicy without being overly greasy. Not bad at all.
Once every so often, Iāll drop by here for some good old chips and burgers. I used to like the flavour of the ribs but have found that it changed in taste from a couple years ago. I also miss the Cajun Chicken burgers which used to belong to the old menu... hence the reason I stopped visiting so frequently. Still, the dipping sauces are addictive and go well with the thick potato chips. The burgers arenāt bad either. The interior is classic and clean, not to mention thereās a lot of seating inside. Love the dedicated station located in the middle-back of the room for customers to wash their hands without the need to go into the toilet.
Service is always prompt. Staff are nice.
I would typically never go out of my way to visit a restaurant known for burgers and ribs, but I went to try the Beyond Meat burger and I'm so glad I gave this spot a go. I can't vouch for any other dishes, but their mock meat burgers are absolutely incredible. My meat eating boyfriend was shocked by how realistic the patty was in taste, texture and appearance. The burger came with pickles and tomato and basic condiments which added to the overall dish, but I bet the patty would have even been delicious if eaten alone on a bun. As for the restaurant itself, it has a real American vibe which I guess is good as it suits the menu well. Staff are nice and the place was busy, so it's other offerings must be pretty good.
The ribs here didnāt disappoint. My favourite is beef ribs; they are tender, flame grilled to perfection and packed with flavours. Beef slider was okay; nothing special and the buns werenāt toasted. Letās talk about the star of our meal though: Sweet Potato Chips! They are sooooooo soft inside and crunchy outside with the right amount of salt. Hm mmm. I dream about them often! Store interior was cool but sometimes really dark (see my 2nd photo of pork baby ribs from today; my friend used her phoneās torch so I can take that photo otherwise you canāt see anything). If you want to avoid the dinner crowd, come around 6 since the restaurant starts to get full by 7PM.
Out of all the ribs Iāve had around different restaurants, Iād say this place gives the most value for money and satisfaction. Hands down my favourite place to get a few racks and a nice, simple and tasty burgers.

The burgers came out promptly, presented well and of course tasted amazing! I had the lemon herb grilled chicken; the meat was perfectly cooked and the right amount of marinade not to overpower the burger. My man had the wagyu beef and he devoured it in minutes. An American eatery unlike any other in Melbourne Ribs n Burgers offers a wide selection on their menu which is always good when eating with a crowd. my favorite menu item is theĀ waygu tower burger, it is honestly one of the best burgers i have eaten in melbourne. their fries are also very nice crispy and seasoned on the outside and soft in the middle. the drinks are also creative and delicious i highly recommendĀ the milo thick shake. staff are always nice however the only complaint is it is always busy and hard to find a table if you are wanting to eat in.

They have four locations in Victoria alone and their website claims to be the best burger restaurant in Australia.Ā . Ā Old school cheese. Although I would not call myself a "purist" when it comes to burgers, I definitely enjoy something basic over one of those burgers that are so packed that eating them becomes a challenge. The old school cheese burger is a shining example of one of these more basic burgers, with an amazing char-grilled beef patty topped with cheese, onion, pickles and sauces.

With a major craving for a good burger fix, I found my way to here. The shop interior is spacious with a homely minimalistic feel.
I tried a lamb burger from the specials menu. It was served with a side of fries. Usually, I wouldn't eat many fries, but these were cooked to crispy perfection; golden and not too greasy. The burger was juicy with all the flavours complementing one another.
Inspired by a craving for ribs, we discovered this place serving just that and lots of burgers. Similar to many fast food joints, we ordered at the counter on first entry before going to find our seats.
Out came two boards of ribs and two sides of chips and cabbage and apple salad. The Pork Dinosaur was tender with a scrumptious sweet sauce and very sizeable. Mmm... finger licking good. The Pork St Louis was also tender and delicious but came with a smoky BBQ sauce. The chips were excellent but the salad was too sour for our liking.
A casual, spacious set up with comfy booths and common tables for bigger groups, the food arrived quickly and without fuss. No table service but they did bring our food out. A steady stream of customers throughout Sunday lunch time who'd voted with their feet given the array of eateries on Glenferrie Rd.
My partner and I got large beef ribs with chips, golden tenders and a vanilla malt milkshake. The beef ribs were very nice and juicy, but slightly on the fatter side.
The golden tenders were overdone and not the best...
Vanilla malt milkshake was amazing but now it doesnāt come in the metal milkshake tin and itās smaller?
Nonetheless, our meal was filling and left us satisfied.

This is the third R&B store weāve dined at and the food is quite consistent! Epping, Northcote and now Hawthorn.
Not going to lie, the price is quite dear for a restaurant chain but we always leave very happy.
Ribs are cooked perfectly, fall off the bone with sticky finger licking glaze.
Burger is perfectly toasted, meat is not over cooked, pickles give it a good crunch and the cheese just tops it all off.
Oh and that Milo Shake. Delicious and they added little chocolate/waffles balls. Yum!
These guys handle fries pretty well too! Super crunchy and well seasoned.
Who doesn't like baby back pork ribs, these are great value and great eating in the USA at around AU $12 but unlucky Australians pay alot more here. We each ordered the baby backs with the signature BBQ sauce basting which is the most expensive item on the menu. When they came out they looked great but we knew immediately on sight they lacked the sauce coverage that makes them finger licking good in the States. One bite and we had made the right choice, the meat was tender and fell off the bone and had a lovely char, if only there was more sauce would have been perfect. The BBQ sauce in the bottle on the table didn't cut it and when added to the ribs it spoit the taste. $36 for baby backs is the going rate but a tad expensive at a place where you order at the counter before you sit down. The appleslaw and chips were spot on.

Despite stating that I hardly have burgers as a meal, this year saw me consuming them at an almost monthly basis. Partly due to the rise of burger joints around neighbouring areas, each boasting of its "signature" options and also due to the fact that burgers can be a favourable option when dining with friends.

What a great surprise. We dined at Ribs and Burgers over a year ago and were not impressed with our average food. Today - we all ( including 3 picky kids ) loved our juicy burger, crunchy chips and succulent wings. Tasty times at Ribs and Burgers Hawthorn.
Came here on Friday night, I ordered the large beef ribs with chip, chicken burger and the onion rings. The ribs were amazing, soft and tender. The onion rings were even more amazing, couldn't stop eating it, it's so addictive.

Always wanted to go but it R&Bs are on the east so it's sparse for me to go, but I've finally got in.
On order: sriracha fried chicken burger, grilled chicken burger, pork ribs, a slider, and sweet potato fries.
It's a bit of a shame that they've called themselves a 'RIBS' and burgers so outside of ribs they don't serve other slow cooked meats like brisket or pulled meats. Anyway the pork ribs were good but nothing outstanding. They were smoky and fell off the bone but there wasn't much else going for it. Same could really be said for the rest of the other dishes. The sriracha fried chicken burger wasn't actually sauced with sriracha but rather sriracha mayo. I had thought that maybe they'd have marinated the chick in a sriracha brine but nah. It's only the sauce. I'm not saying it's a bad burger because it was good but if you call it a sriracha fried chicken burger, I don't just expect spicy mayo.
I might come back, they currently have a $10 double cheeseburger special but it'll have to be like "SPECIAL" to lure me in.

I have try many ribs around other restaurants before but they don't taste as good as this place. Love their beef and pork ribs, reasonable price and generous portion. They also come with chips or colesaw. Must order food from the front counter. š
My friend and I ordered beef and pork ribs which came with chips and salad for $20 each (promo). We were amazed by the tenderness and flavour of the ribs. The bones were easily separated from the meat which shows how well it was cooked. Staff was quick with order and serving service. The only feedback I have is that I don't like the way water is self service with only cups available. It needs jugs too. I came to eat not walk 3-4 times to do water refills.
Our regular destination whenever we crave succulent tasty ribs. Always satisfies! Almost a blessing in disguise it is difficult to park in this area otherwise we'd be going all the time and indulging
Second visit at Ribs & Burgers Hawthorn, yet to be dissapointed. Really good ribs, especially for their price range. Meat pulled apart from the bone with np struggle and the sauce was amazing.
Fries are the typical business and the beetroot salad was a good sized portion.
Definitely valued the meals I've had here.

Menu has changed since I last came a few years ago. Beef ribs are nice but quite fatty, will go back to try the pork baby back. Beef burger in the slider size is still delicious, chips are tasty but average.
Haven't really been a fan the first few times I've visited. But had a massive craving for ribs near home.
Ordered the Pork Baby Back and Lamb Rack (+chips. No time for salad) with Fried Onions. Clearly a day to indulge.
The ribs were tender, moist and did well to whet the appetite. Chips crispy perfect. Onions not so great, easy to become sickening.
I'll be back for the Lamb Herb and Lemon Ribs! Just wished the quality of the cook was consistent.

I had been here when it just opened and the ribs are always beautiful and tender with amazing sauce. The burgers were somehow a letdown twice i had them. They were somewhat dry so i had to put sauces in them. The amount of chips that come as a side with the ribs are a lot, could share it with 3 people. But overall it was expensive dinner, since a full rack or ribs cost almost $40. We also had rockets salad with beetroots and that was good.
SECOND REVIEW: we returned here and it still holds it 4/5 rating, just got 2 burgers + chips to share, burgers consistently delicious, chips good. nice

Visited here yesterday mid arvo. Service was great and friendly. We ordered the ozzie burger, st louis ribs with a slider, slaw and some sweet potatoe chips.
Overall the food was great and we got our order super quickly. The ribs had a great flavour and were nice and succulent. The burgers were also fantastic. Only thing i could fault was maybe the size of the ribs. This is probably dependent person to person but i would need a good $50-$60 worth of ribs for myself and endes up getting two racks. But then again i am a fatty when it comes to ribs and it was my birthday.
Overall wpuld reccomend. Quality will always out do quantity.
Enjoyed our meal there on Sun night, friendly staff, loved the atmosphere & decorations. Only reason I'm giving 3.5 is that one of our friend's beef ribs were under cooked, he struggled and had to really pull hard on the meat. In fairness, our other meals were PERFECT!

90% of the time I come here the full rack of beef ribs I order are cooked perfectly as the meat just fall off. I prefer beef instead because pork ribs are smaller and seems impossible to eat unless you use your hands.
The menu at hawthorn has a slight variation with lamb burgers available from their previous promotion. It's delicious with minty sauce inside. Much preferred over other burgers.
I had a lamb and apple burger. The serving is super big, that probably is a normal size for an American cuisine. The lamb patty was a little rare, very thick and juicy, the favor was not strong as the patty was burnt on both sides. I feel like every bite was bitter maybe it was from the rocket leave. I cannot come here often otherwise I turn myself from size 6 to size 12
Ordered the lamb and pork baby back ribs. Each comes with a choice of chips or salad. We choose chips for both. The food was delicious and generous. The chips were fresh and hot. We enjoyed the pork more than the lamb. Finished the meal off with a milo thick shake and boy was it thick ;) mmm definitely will be back for more pork ribs. Gah, it's so hard to find good ribs nowadays! Thankfully, I can confirm that these guys do it right. Me and my far better half ordered the pork baby rack ribs, and they were just as we wanted them to be - juicy and tender! Are they cheap? Not particularly ($35ish, which includes chips), but I'm not certain ribs should be that cheap anyway. So it's about right. I feel this place could be rated higher if they got rid of the silly order and pay first, then grab a table system. It makes sense when it's quiet but is a royal mess when it's busy - so much so that we gave up and walked out on our first visit. Thankfully we returned and left quite happy.
The ribs here are amazing, the meat just fell off the bone! Ate about two thirds of a full rack and took the rest home! They mucked up my friend's order but were very apologetic and gave her a free cider. Coming back for more!

Got take away from here on a busy Friday night and the food was ready quickly and all tasted great. Juicy burgers with great flavour, nice and crispy chips, onions rings were good and the chicken ribs were a great item to share among everyone. Large range and affordable prices, would definitely have again.
Details: Very hip, cool joint in Richmond for ribs & burgers... AND if you want to be healthy (like me) then you can get the grilled chicken pieces with salad! My chicken was unbelievably good.... obviously not everyone's first pick but if you want to be healthy then I would recommend it! My pals got the ribs and thought they were super tasty as well.

Visiting on a rainy Saturday afternoon, we were lucky we didn't have to wait long for our food. My husband and I had a half rack of St Louis ribs and a half rack of beef ribs, both with a beautiful fall-off-the-bone quality. You definitely don't need to use your hands here. We also ordered the onion rings, which were plentiful - one order is certainly sharable between two people. Be forewarned though that they're the thinly cut kind - no thick cut onion rings here - which for us, was mildly disappointing. We were pleasantly surprised though with their Milo thickshake - incredibly rich, and again, enough for two. Service and ambiance was fine. We'll be back!
Ordered an online take away a couple of weeks ago and it was so easy!! The order was ready in time when I collected it and all of them was still fresh and hot. Even though it was a take away, our onion rings and chips was still crunchy and our burger wasn't soggy. The ribs was so good. Everything was delicious. Though parking in the area is a little hard.

I liked this place. It's a very casual restaurant without table service but it feels very modern and clean. We had the ribs and burger combo - the ribs were great and very affordable compared to other places however the burger was small and very ordinary. I liked that they offer two sauces on the table free of charge. I also ordered a thick vanilla malt shake which was huge. I never had a thick shake before so did not know what to expect but it was very sweet and yes definitly thick - it wouldn't fit through the small straw š it would be nice to share with someone though. My partner and I definitely will come back when we are in the area!
Delicious and mouth-watering! The burger was huge! I almost had to take a run up to it to get my mouth around it! Ended up giving up and using a knife and fork... next time I'll go for one of the smaller burgers so I can get the hands on experience. But oh so tasty and really good chips too! No soggy ones!

The food is so so so fresh and I can understand why this its a busy place and the queues can get large. The service is nice enough. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really fun and despite there being lots of people dining, my friends and I noticed that the noise levels didn't get too high and most likely because everyone was too busy devouring their food rather than talking!!! I highly recommend the cheeky chook burger, whilst my friends loved the Aussie burger. I'm told the pork ribs are okay but the BBQ ribs are better. Will definitely be back!

Deliciously affordable steaks and chips. Ribs are much smaller in portion size but it tastes great. The sliders offered in the rib combo was nothing too special. They could have made their meat patties more succulent and add extra sauce. Definitely recommend the steak to all the steak lovers out there

You give respect where it's due. Doesn't matter to me if this place is a franchise, R&B has managed to combine two popular BBQ dishes and just specialised in them. And executed them very well. Having a couple of sliders with half a rack of beef ribs was just what the doctor ordered on a crisp Sunday lunch time. In terms of the food they were faultless. The ribs was succulent, soft and flavourful in its BBQ tanginess. The sliders were also juicy, with a nod to a simple unsweetened bun which was delightful. The chips were crispy and the salad was fresh and well balanced in acidity, which cut through the fat well. The feature of this place, however, has to be the care they've taken in the little things in the ambiance, which does come a long way - the best condiments in HP sauce, tobasco and mustard; warm lighting and comfy booths, prompt and purposeful service, along with tap water and wash basin at the ready. Overall, for the price, the experience was worth a cut above its value proposition. Hence as Grill'd have done to burgers a while ago, we now have another benchmark in town.
Ribs&Burgers is accessible by tram, but finding a parking will take sometime specially during busy days. Their rump steak is affordable and the size is good. Though their riblets are a bit dry that time. Our personal fave, onion rings! Burgers are good in size and juicy.
The pork riblets and rump steak are very good. Servings aren't bad either. Make sure to get their onion rings though. Fast service and great value for money. Jen Lee's and my cravings were indeed satisfied.
Lamb ribs and mini burgers are absolutely a ripper plus the Milo shake is a complete package, favourite place on a Friday night, good ambiance

We came on a Monday night and service picked up quite quickly with many families dining in. Lamb ribs were cooked well however we left it a bit late so the fat started setting . The burgers were small and were just enough to eat. The rump steak was cooked well medium to rare and the chips are always amazing.
Definitely my favorite burger place. We were a bit skeptic about the food based on the review but let me tel you, we were wrong! The food was brilliant. We ordered the veggie patch, lamb burger, the falafel burger and obviously the bbq ribs. They were all delicious. Burger and beer- what else can you ask for.

Best chips and onion rings ever. Very crispy on the outside, just the right amount of thickness and the coating was yummy too. Chicken wings was very juicy and tender, marinade was yum (sticky black soy). Ribs was tasty but perhaps a little dry
This place is superb, but be warned; it gets messy! I've been craving some good ribs and Ribs & Burgers nailed it. My boyfriend and I ordered the hot chilli and BBQ pork ribs, which both came with a generous serving of chips and two sliders each. The flavours were so satisfying that they detracted from the fact that we were eating like animals. However, there is a handy sink to wash your hands in once you have demolished your meal. The meal was thoroughly satiating and enormous. I also loved the "adult milkshake" I got - raspberry and white choc are a match made in heaven, and the dash of alcohol only complemented the mix. Love love love this place!

The only downfall which has nothing to do with the restaurant is that there is hardly any parking in Hawthorn. However once you get here you learn it is popular because it is crowded and there are queues! Everything is affordable pricing which is really great for the suburb. Meals come out fairly quickly and the waitress was a little flustered and mixed up, but otherwise definitely worth another visit!
Took the family for a meal and we were not disappointed. Every meal ordered was delicious, ribs were succulent, meat falling off the bone, burgers were very tasty as well. Staff were very helpful. Only problem is that you can't make a booking and we are not great at waiting for a table. But would definitely go back.
Great choice of burgers - my personal favourite is the lamb burger. High quality ingredients and a generous serving size. Service staff are always friendly. Restaurant is well spaced, excellent interior.
Came here on a Saturday night and there was a bit of a que. only had to wait about ten minutes for a table and they let us order food before being seated so we didn't have to wait long. all the staff were lovely. The burger meat tasted very fresh and the beef ribs had a nice taste, the meat fell off the bone with a bit or resistance which is exactly how ribs should be in my opinion. The onion rings weren't the best I've had, they were adequate but more strings with batter than actual onion rings but still good with some aioli sauce.
Good place. Friendly efficient service and food came out very quickly. Burger was good, patty needed to be a bit bigger to hit the size of the bun but was tasty... Good value though. Ribs not as amazing value but very nice and fell off the bone.

Tonight I had the Baby Back ribs with a side cabbage salad - rib meat fell of the bone. Salad was nice, good to cut through the meat. Husband ordered a burger with chips - there chips are awesome! I ate quite a few of his - The side for $4 is a a big serve.

Love the ribs here! Yum! The ordering at the front counter is a bit weird for a restaurant like this. But go with it, the ribs are worth it. Very civilised that they offer a basin and tap and mirror in the dining room to wash your hands and check your face isn't covered with food. Eating ribs can get a little messy!

Decent food, slightly overpriced and service is lacking. You have to order at the counter before you can sit down which is a pain if you are in a group or if it is your first time as the menu is quite large and you are forced to huddle in the waiting area.
Burgers are cooked nicely and chips/onion rings are great. St Louis Smoky Pork Ribs are delicious. Serving size could be bigger though. Love the seeded slaw which is like coleslaw but not mayonnaise only vinaigrette and it has onion rings in it which tastes great not like what I expected.

Beautiful decor and excellent food! Came earlier to avoid the crowds as this place is always busy! Loved the wagyu beef burger - huge and good for sharing, the suckling pork ribs was tender and juicy , also liked the cabbage and apple salad. Last but not least those onion rings are to die for!!

Nice little burger joint, I came down here on cup day at about 8:30 at night thinking there was no way we would get anything to eat but luckily we did and very quickly considering they we busy, lovely burgers and will be back again
Went in when it was quiet so we got our food pretty quickly. The sticky soy peanut butter rack of ribs was delicious!! And they got the best onion rings IMO! Pretty cool interiors as well
Great place! The food was great. We had the pork spare sticky soy chilli peanut and it was perfectly cooked, juice and tender! Falling of the bone perfectly! Great ribs!. I love ribs and I always have them at Meat & Wine Co. Which I love. But now I can have my craving for ribs fixed at R&B as well! We also had some chicken wings that were good and some beautiful crunchy chips. The Deco is lovely. Definitely coming back!
Great to have a hipster burger without a super-sweet bun, very tasty. Ā I'm not a huge fan of the sweet brioche buns you find at many places, but these guys do it well.
The patty in the "pocket" burger looked and tasted a little too much like a production-line product but the rest of the meal was great. Ā Sticky and sweet ribs were delicious.
You must try their alcoholic milkshakes! Yummo! Ribs are very tender and sticky. Just how I like my ribs. Burgers are ok. Ribs are definitely better. Did I mention about their awesome milkshakes?
I always go for the rib and sliders combo with chips and it never disappoints. Only thing is it can get quite busy, sometimes a bit of a queue to order, which on my last visit took ages to take our order as only one person was at the counter. Ribs are always great, burgers could do with some improvement.

On my previous visit here I had tried the ribs which were pretty good but today I opted to sample a couple of burgers. These were nice, juicy and succulent burgers that I wouldn't mind going back for more.
I tried the short rib burger and the wagyu burger. Whilst the short rib burger is kinda small and not really filling however it compensates in taste what it lacks in size/serving. The wagyu burger was nice and big and loaded with crispy flavorsome onion rings which added a nice texture to the burger. Personally i prefer my burger buns slightly greasy but thats just me. The buns are perhaps the only slight let down but all other boxes get definite tick.
This place gets very busy and crowded at the counter as you have to order there prior to getting a table, whilst others also stood there waiting for their takeaway. However, when you do get a seat, it's a nice little establishment with thoughtful decor. You get a little tin kettle with your sauces and cutlery which is cute. I ordered the spicy lamb rib combo which comes with two sliders. The spice was just right and there was a good variety of sauces to choose from. Must get one of their thickshakes just to try! I had the apple pie thickshake, the biscuit crumbs it comes with just tops it off perfectly. All in all a good experience.
I loved the naked burger ! It was really yummy and I do love what came with it . I just feel for 20 odd dollars it was fairly steep when there is no bun ? Would be good to see the option of a gluten free bun too .

Not really into theirs burger but the Ribs is tender and yummy. Love all the ribs. Any kind of sauce is good. Chicken wing not bad at all. The chilly and tar tar sauce complete each other. Great French fries and salad. Only too bad the burger a bit too dry. Service not bad, wish they more friendlier and smile a bit won't be hurt, they all have pretty face.

While the food here is decent, the management of the place could definitely use some work. We were confused within three seconds of entering the place as there seemed to be three different waiting lines. With no explanations or anything, we waited in a queue for ten minutes before we were told that we needed to order first before being given a table.... On the other hand, the ribs here are certainly worth coming for although their burgers aren't anything exceptional. The thick shakes and onion rings were also great.
Get this place more organised and you could have an even bigger winner on your hands.
The Ribs were a definite highlight, although the they were slightly under cooked. Need a little more time for the meat to start falling off the bones. The Old Cheese burger had a lot of positives but needed the addition of Bacon and could use a little more seasoning and came out too sweet with the BBQ/Mayo combination. The mustard and pickles weren't enough to overpower the sweetness. As always the chips were crispy and well seasoned. I swear the Apple Pie milkshake is just a blended Apple Pie, brilliant.
Ribs are always so tasty, the staff are always lovely and accommodating. Ā Atmosphere is good and the kids love coming here.

Firstly called up this morning to reserve a table but was explained very nicely that they don't take any and explained how it works. Board at front, find a table and order etc. was asked about time and number of guests and that we should be fine.

Food arrived as they were cooked so not all the same time. But not too far apart.
Food was pretty good. Beef ribs were big boned (as you'd expect) the meat was a little chewy and the flavour was good, expected a few more chips for $30
Pork riblets were better and preferred in general over the beef. The spare ribs were more tender and flesh was softer and a nice smokiness to it.

Great place for burgers or those willing to roll up their sleeves: ribs. Have been a few times to relish in the meat sweats post pork or beef ribs - a full rack mind you. Nothing is a tasty as some hot fresh beef ribs to chow through. The art deco is your typical for the area and restaurant style but is clean and vibrant. The staff are friendly and know the menu, thus can advise on allergies and complementary suggestions. Burgers are tasty, a little messy but over all "finger licking good". Will be back again!
Dropped in for a quick meal after basketball on Saturday night. Little confusing as we stood at the door and didn't know the system of ordering and then getting a table. But burgers were good, tasty and filling. Chips were fine, onion rings were just thin strips of onion, I wouldn't order those again, but will happily go back for a burger.
Multiple Visits. Ive been there multiple times and their menu options range from terrific to bland.
The burgers are probably the underwhelming side of things. They arent terrible, they just arent memorable (especially for the price)
The Ribs were great, if albeit a bit small. Though you are only paying for a half rack so it sits well with me.
The best part of this restaurant though are the BBQ wings and the Shakes.

Vanilla Malt Milkshake!!. So having read previous comments I took the advice to have an early dinner to try an avoid the rush. Got to Ribs & Burgers at 6:15 and it was already packing in, but we still managed to get a table which was good.
We decided to get the R&B combo (2 mini burgers, ribs and chips) to share so we could have a bit of it all, and 2 shakes, I went for strawberry and my boyfriend went for Vanilla Malt. Firstly, both shakes were nice and it looked like they used real strawberries or preseve which is a plus, but the vanilla shake was amazing!! I had to keep stealing sips from my boyfriends.
As for the food, the chips were amazing so crispy and lovely, the burgers were succulent and juicy, and the ribs were melt in your mouth goodness.

Had an early dinner here on Saturday night & was sooo happy to miss the big rush. If you get here before 6.30-7pm you can easily find a table. Staff were very attentive, friendly & attentive to my toddler & infant. My husband & I ordered two different burgers, wings & the two sliders for our kids & we loved it! The flavours in the original beef burger & chicken burger is amazing! Very tasty burgers & chips. The vanilla milkshake is to die for! Definitely worth the $7 price tag. Had a look at the ribs on the next table & will be trying them very soon. By the time we finished up around 8pm the place had a huge line out the door & is worth the wait. Cant wait to come again

Delicious but with teething problems. Sat down reasonably quickly for a Friday night. You have to order at the front before getting a seat which I am not a fan of. We had waited for around 20 mins when the people behind us who had only just sat down got what sounded like our order. After some fluffing around, the waiter (who seemed a bit vague) took the meals off them and gave it to us......it is a bit gross knowing someone else has been breathing on your food and may have touched it, but we were assured it was ok. THE FOOD IS AWESOME, order bbq riblets - divine. Chips were crunchy and soft in the centre. Bbq wings were ok but the riblet sauce was gold! Complex smokey sticky lusciously molasses laiden with a hint of Apple cider......cannot rave enough about it. Onion rings were ok but onions could be sliced thicker so they didn't disintegrate in the oil when fried. Salad was so so, cheese and bacon burger was cold (possibly from table mix up) certainly nothing to rave about. It is pretty clear that this is good old American style BBQ meat at it's finest. Just call it BBQ RIBS and omit the burger as it was rubbish and the patty was raw inside. Needs better staff and better sides like putting melted cheese and bacon on those fries and mash potatoes and a desert menu! Just saying, get the ribs.....good lord get the ribs..... Enjoy!

Good food, disappointing service. Went with a group of 5 people for dinner on a Monday night. There was only around 10 other people in the place with 8 of those having already ordered most already eating. We all ordered together and went and sat at a cute little booth. As the first 2 dishes came out we were all very excited to eat as it looked and smelt amazing. The next 2 dishes came out one after the other a few minutes later. 10 minutes later the final dish, that had been ordered first still had not arrived. We questioned the waitress and we were informed that is was on its way out. We then saw her go over to the chefs where the 3 of them just looked at the orders and clearly looked confused, we assumed this meal wasn't on its way. After having been cooked and arriving to the table over 15 minutes after the first dishes, the other four of us had almost finished our meals and the waitress did not even offer an apology. The food was amazing and I will go back and try again but I certainly hope a meal isn't missed again.
Delectable ribs and burgers accompanied by an array of different sauces. Chips were glorious. Definitely very satisfying and quietend all fat yearnings. Not sure what happened with the ratings but could it be McDonalds or other similar surrounding joints voting here ?
Chicken burger wasn't bad the ribs looked nice on another table but way way too expensive for franchise food ,I like the decor and I can't fault the design , they have certainly spent a fortune here but I wouldn't bring the family here too often or I would break the bank.

Heard good things about this place from a friend so I decided to visit on a Saturday for lunch, I ordered the wagyu burger (which I was told was very popular) and some chips. I really enjoyed this burger it was very filing and the onion rings are a nice touch! The chips were great too! The place has a great fit out and the staff were all smiling and polite which was great to see! Would recommend visiting and giving it a go, I'll be visiting again soon to give the ribs a try
A trendy burger joint with upper end prices but worth it for quality and taste. The wagyu beef patty was chargrilled nicely, not too dry and not too greasy. We liked the ribs. The meat had a sweet marinade and was tender, fall-off-the bone. Service was quick for a busy Wednesday night. We'll be back.

Yum, I enjoyed my meal of pork ribs but my one rack once bones are removed wasn't a big meal. Tasty definitely but could do with an extra half rack. Great atmosphere & good set up. I'lll be back.
Started with terrible service at the counter - staff barely smiled and were too rushed. There was only one person behind me. Waiters were worst, they asked us to shift tables despite empty tables around - they did this to others also, it was rude and inconvenient. However, the food was great - I had the full lamb ribs, salad and onion rings.

It can get a bit messy, so probably not the best place to take your first date to, but itās definitely a pretty fun place to hang out at with a bunch of friends (who wonāt judge you for licking the sauce from your fingers, or getting it all over your face). A little on the expensive side, but overall a great place that delivers something a little more special and premium than your local burger joint; Ribs & Burgers will definitely satisfy your meat and hot chip craving.
