I just love everything about this place. The food is really really yummy. Highly recommended!
Nice and clean place with delicious vietnamese bread rolls. They baked their bread on site each day. Their bread is baked perfectly and does not flake like other bakeries.
If you need a quick and delicious vietnamese bread roll, this place has it. They also have very nice coffee.
I've been here a couple of times and the service is really good. It's quick and efficient. Perfect.
Both of my pork rolls were tasty but the pork belly banh mi is a winner although not the cheapest at $9.50.
But you get what you pay for I guess and I've been really happy both times. This place is busy for a reason and I'll be back.

I have become a huge fan of banh mi recently. There is just something about that irresistible combination of crunchy baguette, crispy salad, yummy meats and spicy dressings that make me crave them so much. Needing a good lunch while in Hawthorn, I decided to pop into Mr and Mrs Banh Mi to try them out... and I'm so glad that I did.
The owners were really nice and suggested that I try the crispy pork belly with extra chilli. Wow, what a combo. The pork was so succulent, salty and tasty; and the crackling was divine. The salad was refreshing and the baguette was so fresh and the perfect base for all the fillings.
Mr and Mrs Banh Mi also have delicious rice paper rolls, so I look forward to trying them next time. With inexpensive lunch options, tasty food and friendly service; I can't wait to return for another lunch date again soon.
OMG! I love Mr & Mrs Bahn Mi, so delicious. They have a huge range of vegan faux meat options that are amazing. Price is super reasonable, staff are so lovely. Can’t get enough. Best Bahn Mi I’ve ever had.
I love this place - I get lunch here several times a week because it's affordable and vegan heaven. My favourites are the vegan BBQ pork or the vegan crispy chicken. My meat eating friends assure me theirs are equally delicious!
Fresh ingredients, friendly owners. price is a couple of dollars more than richmond and footscray but given due to higher rents in the area. would definitely recommend. One tip to the owners, your chillis should be more HOT!
Delicious and fresh! Been a few times, get in early to avoid missing out on the meats you want. So far my fave is the roast pork Banh Mi and they add a bit of crackling on top for the extra yummyness. Give it a try if you're ever in Glenferrie.
The best range of vegan and vegetarian Bahn mi I have found. Delicious flavours and well priced. A great lunch option while down glenferrie road, hawthorn.
This place does the best rice paper rolls! They are big, fresh and positively scrumptious. There are also about 10 different options of fillings including vegan meats. My personal faves are the tofu and the pork and lemongrass. 3 for $8 - can’t go wrong. Oh and the dipping sauce is soooo good.
Their bahn mis also look yummy with a wide selection of fillings on offer. This place is ideal for vegetarians / vegans too with heaps of different “fake” meat options.
