Definitely one of the best cafe near Auburn Village. Staff is very friendly and they serve the best chicken wrap you can find. Highly recommended !

Bric a Brac is our favourite local. We've been going almost every weekend for the past ~9 months. Their chef is brilliant, not just a breakfast cook like a lot of the other cafes around. He loves to experiment and make beautiful meals. The head of front of house is friendly charming, conversational, but let's you get on with your meal. Also makes amazing cakes! We love this place and all the wonderful service and meals we've had.

This place is a bit of a hidden gem. The owners are lovely and they do a seriously good coffee (they use Duke's beans). The muffins and pastries on offer seem obligatory more than anything and it's clear that their passion goes into the coffee. There is a discount for Keep Cups.

I just went here for the first time to get some food to takeaway for lunch. The young lady who served me was so lovely, offering me a seat and water while I waited for the food, then the chef brought my food out and ran over to open the door for me as I left. Truly beautiful customer service - and the croquettes with poached eggs are delicious! I will be coming back!

So far everything I had has been divine! My favourites are the salmon don and chicken wrap with the apple sauce. Yum! Great coffee and the most loveliest owner too. I can't wait to be back.

The best coffee in the area. Run by the sweetest couple I have met, always happy to see you. Since I live nearby I've tried most of the menu and found it to be delicious. Favourites are the pork belly sliders and the Portuguese custard tarts.

Menu with a twist and wholesome customer service. Whilst doing a course in the area I stumbled across this gem and have been here 4 days in a row. The food is delicious and fresh, coffee was spot - on, they us Prana Chai so automatic 👍🏾 for excellent chai choice. BUT the extra bonus was the customer service, the staff were simply genuine, proud and passionate about their food. Why did I keep going back? .... because the food was wholesome and I wanted to support a new kid on the block - a 1 year old
local business with the right values. They want to be recognised and known for great food and customer service. If you like non- pretentious cafes I highly recommend you check out this gem, you will not be disappointed. These guys deserve to succeed.

A beautiful little cafe on Burwood Road. I had the cold pressed green juice and it was delicious!
Can't wait to go back for breakfast, the menu looks amazing!

Had an amazing experience here! Food was incredible, beautiful presentation and well thought out fusion of korean cusine and brunch. Cannot recommend the Egg Royale enough. Staff was super friendly and the interiors were beautiful. Ignored the low rating, it only opened a few months ago apparently

Just had the most wonderful brunch here with my wife and daughter who have both been here before, enjoyed it immensely and had to get me along too. The menu has a great collection of of very thoughtfully crafted regular and gourmet choices, all perfectly prepared, presented, generous in proportion and surprisingly modestly priced. Coffees, Chai's and matcha all great. Service is friendly, and welcoming. Our host even presented us with some complementary cakes at the end. We were already quite full but couldn't pass it up. This is a great little cafe that deserves to do well. We will back and highly recommend this little gem of place.

A little delight ....

Nearly 15:00, the dreadful cafe graveyard closing time. Found this little delight on Burwood Rd, Hawthorn and I was welcomed to stay and have my coffee, thank you.

NKOTB, a few months young and showing potential.

This converted period building is delightfully setup by a team of husband Chef and wife Barista & everything else, that's what women always tells me 👊😁

Paste colours scheme, bright, airy, lightly fitted cafe; Scandinavian 70's buffet, Bentwood chairs, thick timber top square frame table, some vintage stuff, neat, tidy, complementing the period building and it feels just right.

Duke Roaster coffee beans and La Marzocco 2 group combo, $4 latte is above average for the going rate in Melbourne.

Exotic and unique fusion food Menu; I can see some Korean influenced dish on the Menu, which we shall come back for.

All the very best, JT - 13/07/2017.

This well-thought out new local cafe is run by a lovely husband and wife team. Child friendly, with plenty of room to manoeuvre prams, Bric a Brac also offers free wifi to customers. Cosy-chic decor features clean lines and clear surfaces. Homely yet inventive menu drawing from cuisines from around the world. Breakfast Bibimbap caters well to vegans, offering a rainbow of delicious healthy ingredients, finished with fermented chilli paste and soy... for those who are not of the vegan persuasion, the owners will happily crown the dish with an egg. Most of the cakes are made by the owner - custard tarts are not to be missed. Iced matcha is made to your liking - suitably sweet, or sugar left out. I've been back 3 times in two weeks. An excellent new addition to Hawthorn.
