I thought of giving this bar a bad rating just so it wouldn’t get too popular! But the beer selection is excellent,the food is very good, and the owners (and staff)—Rich and Theresa—are great fun. Plus they let me leave my luggage in their storeroom when I was between Airbnb’s—so five stars is a fair rating!

Great place for an excellent range of beers. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Cider and wine too. We have enjoyed the darts out the back and are looking forward to using the giant Jenga.
Great little spot! Friendly and welcoming, fab menu of beers, and ciders & wines for the non beer drinkers. Food to complement and a selection of board games as well. Love it.

A Great little craft beer bar. Good selection of tap beers. Small but adequate food. Burgers look great! Great to have a new local. Will be returning!
Good food, nice warm comfortable pub. Rotating beer taps and a knowledgeable bar tender makes it a nice stop in for a beverage or two.

Came across this wonderful bar in Melbourne. Had a Hoppy Red beer, if you like craft beers this is excellent. Talked with Richard, the proprietor, about brewing and all things important, very helpful. An interesting and fulfilling experience with great beers, some are brewed on site. Looking forward to returning when next in Melbourne.
Great range of beers, knowledgable and friendly owners. Great food and a perfect local option for something different than the usual pub/bar. Looking forward to an evening out the back in the darts area!
A rare gem. The owner and staff actually care about what they serve, (the latest isn't necessarily the greatest!) have deep knowledge and are consistently, welcoming, friendly and attentive. The $10 cocktails (all day every day) with a serious list, is a fantastic deal. If I wasn't so pre-occupied with the excellent and ever evolving/rotating beer selection I'd be into that for sure.
This place has been a fantastic find. Richard knows his stuff and is more than happy to pass on his hard won knowledge of the wonderful world of beers. A word if warning however... Bar Jenga and several pints can lead to some rather embarrassing moments.
Such friendly owners who love to tall beer. ...and wine and all things really. A lovely place to unwind after work or hit for a few unique brews. Food is good too.

What a lovely little find! We caught the train across town to try it out and were well rewarded. There is a well thought out selection of beers and wines, served by a friendly and knowledgeable host.
There is a good range of beers plus some "non-beer" drinks for those dragged there by the beer drinkers, and something to eat if you enjoy too many beers. It's a good place to have a quiet drink.
