Had this amazing healthy meal with my partner at hawthorn spud bar. Very healthy and nutritious. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Would like to try more varieties šŸ™Œ. Would recommend for a healthy meal down here. 10/10 šŸ‘šŸ‘

7:00PM 23/11/2021. Spud was awesome as usual. Trying spud from everywhere, this is the best one even had. Lady was very polite and humble. Love to eat again.

Has this place been cleaned in the last 12mths? Dust and grease everywhere on dado rails, on light fittings, display shelving and the windows are smeared. The large menu boards behind the counter are peeling off the walls. Sure, the tables and floor looked clean but are they? They is still CoVid QR codes to register your visit everywhere, when these went out 2-3 mths ago. Large serve but the potato was so cold that it didnā€™t melt the cheese! Very dry and tasteless.

Good food but third time that I ordered through Deliveroo and cutlery was not provided, even when the option to provide cutlery was ticked. Also, it was clearly mentioned to not include cabbage and yet, there is cabbage mixed within - how hard is to follow simple instructions....

Great place to enjoy the King of foods, the potato, in one of its best forms. All of the versions of the baked potato are gluten free and they have a good range from the classic to the surprising. Atmosphere is nice with a range of spaces to eat in and the staff are friendly and helpful. Fast service

Edible but there was no extras I ordered or the bolognese sauce which came with the standard order. No seasoning, bland, I wouldn't order again.

I ordered a Moroccan Chickpea and Kale spud which was supposed to be vegan (Iā€™m lactose intolerant). I took it away and didnā€™t receive any cutlery and Iā€™m unfamiliar with the restaurant so I donā€™t know if you get it yourself. <br/><br/>When I finally opened it, I found sour cream. Thatā€™s... not vegan. I donā€™t know how the staff member messed it up when I literally ordered from the menu. I ate maybe three bites and had to get rid of it. It was bland anyway, so it wasnā€™t worth the physical pain if Iā€™d eaten more.<br/><br/>Two stars instead of one because the guy was mostly polite.

The service here is absolutely amazing the guy is so nice and caters to what you like so pleasantly. I donā€™t often leave reviews but this place is a must to visit even for the service alone. And the food is definitely something you will cravešŸ˜ got the meat lovers and bolognese and asked to make it a bit spicy šŸ˜šŸ”„šŸ˜ amazing!!

3.5 <br/>Came here with friends and got the Bolognese spud , the portion sizes were quite generous but I thought the sauce lacked flavour . It was also a little watery and was not enough as you got to the end of the potato

I have written over 200 reviews but never 1 like this!<br/><br/>Spud with lamb, bacon cheese AND A FLY! After we received our spuds from Uber eats I opened it to find a fly sitting in there. There is no way this fly got in there on the way the pack was sealed tight so it clearly got in when they made it! How someone making it doesn't look and see it is beyond me!<br/><br/>Never again Spudbar never again!<br/>

One thing for sure is that there Willa always be a potato involved and that it'll always feel over priced. That being said it's generally tasty and the venue is attractively decorated, if a little cold feeling. Does tend to be a bit short on staff around lunch time.

Decided to try yet another food franchise on busy Glenferrie Road. <br/>Had The Festival spud for late lunch today. Shop was quiet as it was 2.30pm. <br/>Service was very quick. Student deals are available so bring your student card for a $7 spud!

Lately the spuds have been so soggy (overcooked) which is worrying because acrylamide A.K.A C3H5NO becomes present in over cooked spuds and beans and can be toxic to humans. To ad that the staff must be infected with said C3H5NO because the service is definitely over cooked too. A staff member was eating her own lunch in plain sight a few feet from the cash register as I was being served by her colleague, to ad to that her hair was peroxided and could very well be falling out all over the place. <br/>Bad staff presentation. Soggy spud.

Spud Bar Glenferrie offers Ā a cozy ambience and affordable meals. They have a range of healthy meals with various topping and create-your-own salads. Ā I had bacon and cheese with a mix of potato and sweet potato. Totally recommended!

For a quick and affordable meal in-between uni breaks, I definitely recommend spudbar! You've got a large selection of ingredients to choose from which makes the whole experience at spud bar 1000x more exciting!

The mixed grain tabouli again looked tempting, but I remember from last time that I didnā€™t like the mint in it. Instead I went for the wild rice with almonds and raisins, and it was surprisingly tasty. The dahl added a nice salty touch to counter the sweetness of the other ingredients I added.Ā Having both pumpkin and sweet potato was probably sweetness overkill, but I didnā€™t know what else to put in my custom-made spud. I actually went without one of the six toppings that was included in the price; maybe I should have asked for a double helping of rice.

More like Dud bar. Firstly they ran out of potatoes and I had to wait 15 mins for a spud. Secondly they undercooked my potato and when I told them, the only excuse they gave me was that their oven was playing up. They never offered me a refund. Thirdly the dish was awful, guacamole looked sloppy, potato was not soft and there was no flavour. It was bland, boring and a waste of money. $12.90 for that dish, not worth it! <br/>Save your money for something else!

After hearing great things I was anticipating the best baked potato around. Sadly, it didn't live up to the price tag. The main let down was the less than luke warm potato and the unimpressive service. <br/>2 staff on, one serving and one at the til. After the girl making my spud handed it to the girl at the register and told her what price to charge, instead of taking my money, the girl at the register decided to fill the napkins and then ask the other guy behind me if she could take his order. As he was already half way through being served (by the girl who had made my spud) she moved off to the back of the store. Meanwhile, I'm still at the register waiting to pay (this is probably why my spud was near cold). After making the other guys order and taking his money I finally got to pay the original girl. and get my spud. Please work out who is doing what role for the night.<br/><br/>If you go, def eat in. The bowls looked more appetising for toppings and price compared to the takeaway option. I'm going to stick making mine at home. Thanks!

Hmmmm. I don't know why this place has great reviews-ordered a salad with lamb and probably got 2 forks of lamb with 2 bits of pumpkin, lots of peas and carrot. Pretty average to be honest-I could've made it at home

A cool place with a new style. The quality of the food is good. I ordered chicken and chorizo but unfortunately the amount of chicken was so little that hardly I could find a piece of chicken in my food. Thats was really disapponting and made me not to come back again. Felt like having a veggiterian meal.

I love it. Sure it's a bit much for "fast food" but that's because it good quality and good for you food. Still cheaper than if you were to go to a cafe for lunch or something like that.

Nice atmosphere, good value tasty spuds & salads. Had slow cooked lamb tzatziki salad which was a generous bowl serve and delicious. Little spud with 3 topping and drink for kids great value at $6. Very pleasently surprised.

Dud not spud. Took my kids to Spudbar and when I asked for a spoon (they come with a fork) I was told 'we don't have any'. Potatoes come out looking like chopped up potato skin. If you like loads of topping with potato skin go for it but if you like a reasonable size potato forget it. Healthy at least!!

There are the Classics ā€“ Tuna, Bolognese, Crispy Bacon and Cheese and ā€˜The Festivalā€™ ā€“ melted butter, cheese, sour cream, bacon and chives YUM!!
