Amazing noodles and authentic taste. Not enough dine in place but can’t complain as food taste real awesome.
Marina Mcdonald
What an amazing place to have great food.

Worst cook ever, ordered garlic prawn noodles big box but can’t find any garlic on it, ordered honey soy chicken big box but cannot taste any honey soy. Not recommending noodles box hawthorn now

Unprofessional staff Staff said need to wait 10 minutes, but I wait 30 minutes. Also, they still didn’t prepare my food when I wait 30 minutes. However, I very angry and ask why still didn’t prepare. Then the staff said that if you feel unhappy, you didn’t order.

A mountain of flavourless noodles and not much else, maybe 3 prawns and 2 pieces of broccoli. So disappointing.

Meal was delicious. Was told it would be 10 mins & it was 25 mins, which was too long to wait.

Hadn't eaten Noodle Box in a while and it was really good. Noodles and rice dishes had a lot of flavour and ordering online let me customise the boxes. Kids loved the prawn crackers too!

Terrible, ordered Nasi Goreng, the rice is literally not cooked, it's hard and flavours were hardly there. Worst one I've ever tasted, will not be going back. Plus i never received my receipt, where is my free meal? Do not recommend this store

I was taken here at the suggestion of someone else and left pissed that I spent $12 on a dish made of super cheap ingredients. My veg noodles were flavourful but too oily and container minimal veg. On the plus side, it made me nostalgic for the fast food American Chinese food I sometimes ate as a child.

Ordered from UberEATS last week and was blown away by the portion size for the $19 price tag - I was able to make it last 3 meals! The delivery was super speedy and the taste was fantastic. I ordered the Singapore noodles and it was absolutely stuffed full of BBQ pork and vegies. Very good value for money. Will definitely be ordering again soon :)

Super spicy dishes and custom made. 😁<br/>Friendly staffs and the ambiance is superb.<br/>For noodles its the bet place till now i have found. High 5 for noodle box

Won't be back. Black bean beef noodles didn't even taste like black bean, beef was tough and chewy and the noodles were overcooked and too soft.<br/><br/>I noticed that for all the ingredients in the cabinet there were only two sets of tongs so that probably explains all the food poisoning complaints.

Never leave reviews. Got takeaway through entertainment voucher for 2 people. Sweet and sour pork was below average but the rice was raw. Not going to bother asking for compensation because I'm not going back.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one deserved one.<br/>Ordered food on Uber Eats..one of the worst tasting noodles I’ve ever had. The noodles are bland and super dry.

Their service is really fast, I love it. Noodles always taste great. I have trued a few flavours and my favourite is hot and spicy. I have never tried any other flavour after this. Just delicious.

I hadn’t had any meals today and I ordered this noodle through the uber eat. And it was absolutely disgusting because it was just too salty, I couldn’t finish it even though I was so hungry..
Pintorsands
Noodles were bland. There was no different flavours between the different dishes we ordered and there was more of an Indian flavour to the dishes rather than an Asian flavour.

Ordered on Uber Eats. Got a combination noodle box and had instant food poisoning! Am sitting on the toilet writing this. It tasted nice but obviously something in it was past it’s used by date or was cross contaminated with something. Will never buy from here again!!

Disclaimer: I’m a small eater. I and a friend shared the regular box and we were both pretty full. Those boxes DOES look small but it’s deceiving!<br/>So far I have only tried the Pad Thai here twice, and it was good both times. Love the concept - you pick the menu, they collect ingredients from the clear glass station then cook it fresh before your eyes. Probably explain why the price tag is a bit higher than other Asian noodle joints, but it’s worth it IMO. They also let you be adventurous and build your own box - select choices of noodles, sauce, topping etc. Maybe I’ll try it next time!

Their menu says that dishes can be made vegan so I ordered a vegan Pad Thai. It was ok but they did not add any protein to the dish e.g. tofu and charged me the same amount for a dish with meat. They do offer tofu on their other dishes but not on this dish when I wanted it vegan. In the end my dish was about 98% noodles and 2% veggies (which were cooked nicely though). But overall I’m disappointed.

We tried the garlic prawns and seafood from the specialty menu. Garlic prawns was definitely the winner. Watch out for their deals on Groupon!

Always love the noodles here. Sauces so tasty. The only downside is it is quite expensive for a small portion. But when I have craving for noodles, this is the place to go.<br/><br/>Edited: went here recently and tried mee goreng and it was bad. I know what mee goreng should be like, and it should be quite dark with soy sauce and when i saw the colour was like orange, i had a bad feeling. And it tasted nothing like mee goreng. Tasted just okay, but more like Singaporean noodles to me.

I ordered a "small" take away fried noodles from noodle box hawthorn, the order came out to be extremely disappointing. Let's start with the size of the take away - seriously? It's almost the same size of a regular coffee mug and they charged me $10.95 for it? I'm not sure if this is due to inflation but this is outrageous. Not sure if i'm gonna rate the food but the first impression has already put me off. Be wary guys, the size of "small" in takeaway is actually "tiny".

Had a black bean stir fry takeaway but was very disspointed with the flavours! It was utterly bland and the noodles were broken into small bits. Never return again

We ordered garlic prawn noodles and teriyaki chicken noodles both were good....rightly spiced up...az we like spicy food it was up to the mark...not great food but definitely good. Will order again.

On the plus side I won't put on any weight from the lunch I ordered today. Order off Uber eats. Saw this was one of the most popular delivery options in the inner south suburbs so decided to try it. Was not in the mood for typical tried and tested delivery options I have ordered before, and wanted something somewhat healthy, so ordered pad Thai chicken noodles and the spring rolls (not sure what was in them because menu didn't say). <br/><br/>My experiences have been w average noodle boxes in rural Australian areas so I had higher hopes for the ""trendy"" Hawthorn suburb. Was disappointed. Loved the spring rolls and they were a good temperature despite the long delivery journey. Sweet n sour sauce was nice enough. <br/><br/>Noodles ? So tasteless, found a bit of hair in them which grosses me out, delivered at a goood temperature. Only could eat a few mouth fills because it felt stodgy and tasted bad. I'm not a fan. Feeling sadder than before as I was after comfort food and now could have spent the money I spent here on something else

I've got a soft spot for this little cheap eat. It's not fine dining and some may find the decor a bit dingy but I don't mind it. They have plenty of meals and usually have a few meal deals going. The Menu is static but they do have special dishes for a short time only and these are worth a look. I've always been happy with the quality of the meals - they cram a lot into those little boxes. Decent chunks of meat. Recently had the Japanese Crispy chicken. Friendly service.

Classic noodle box outlet with a cute interior and great location. I ordered sweet and sour pork for a quick, affordable mid week dinner and was happy with my meal.

Ordered a regular 'make your own' box to take away and the box was full of noodles but no extras!!! Only got one piece of prawn in the whole box and maybe 5 little pieces of bokchoy. RIPPED OFF!!!! Very disappointed and would not recommend!!!

...."Good Noodles on a Shopadocket Deal"....<br/><br/>Visited NOODLE BOX - Hawthorn, on Thursday 10/09/15, for an early dinner, with a couple of discount vouchers, I'd downloaded.... [shopadocket.com.au]<br/><br/>We got 4 boxes 'jam packed full' noodles of varying types with a good mix of meats, and veg..although I could see the veg was a bit light on, so....I asked if he could up them a bit.."Yes, no worries.."<br/>With the boxes came 2 x 600ml bottles Pepsi Next..<br/>Anyway regular price for boxes is $13.95, and the drinks..not sure..?<br/>Okay..the damage - $41.85.. Good value..!! Just over the $10 each mark..and with a mug of pepsi - A reasonably adequate 'cheap eat'.<br/><br/>Check it out..online..I think the shopadocket promo runs till 07/10/2015.<br/>Cheers.

"QUICK & EASY BUT NOT ENOUGH VEG...."<br/><br/>Went to the Hawthorn outlet..Tuesday night..for take-away noodle boxes for four. Rang to order (menu online} - 15 mins till pick-up. Ready when I got there (was exactly 15 mins). Quick and easy transaction with a genuine thanks and a sincere smile. <br/><br/>Food was hot, and jam-packed into those boxes..really good value.<br/><br/>We got a Chicken Pad Thai, a Mongolian Beef, a Satay Chicken and a Combination - all $13.95 each - boxes came in bags with a spork, chopsticks and a paper napkin.<br/><br/>Yes, enjoyed them...we were really hungry...BUT just not enough vegies for us....too many noodles....<br/><br/>If only they could throw in a few carrot juliennes, a couple of broccoli florets, some sliced bok choy and a handful of chopped spring onions, I'd be happy to give them a 4 out of 5.<br/><br/>A 4.5 out of 5 if you don't like vegetables......<br/><br/>Apparently they now offer a home delivery service, not sure if free, with a minimum spend, or for a charge..?<br/><br/> Visited Tuesday 8th Sep 2015 for take-away noodles for dinner.

Great food but I NEED chopsticks.. Food is great and prepared very quickly. Service is friendly. <br/>BUT!<br/>They have stopped giving me chopsticks. I don't know if they just assume I want a fork because I'm not asian but I get home, look in the bag and I'm like "NAAAAW DAWG WHERES MA DAMN CHOPSTICKS!?!?". I want to get home and feel like I am in Asia eating my noodles but I just cant do this with a fork... I cry sometimes.<br/>Also probably 70% of the time the sauce runs out of the box and into the plastic bag.<br/>They also run out of packaging a bit and give you your noodles in containers that are meant for other food that they serve. No biggie but worth mentioning I think.

Used a voucher, owners are friendly and food is always consistent. Renovations have given it a more relaxed dining experience

Husband and wife Bobby and Jen are just your dream hosts.Although,it is a franchise ,you may think it is just a fantastic place to eat .

Nifty. Fresh ingredients, rapid, friendly service and a tasty, well sized final offering make this a very good fast food option. Of its type, one of the best available, nicely done and overall nifty!
