A very nice and clean Thai restaurant. All the dishes we ordered are yammy and their customer service is good too πŸ‘

Really yummy authentic Thai. The entrees are really nice and the mains are great too. The beef massaman curry is particularly tasty and isn't too spicy if you're like me and can't handle anything spicy! The roti bread and coconut rice are a must-have as well.

It is a beautiful restaurant with excellent service and the food was absolutely delicious. I am a big fan of Thai cuisine and everything was spot on. I had curry puffs and a Thai red curry and was suprised how good it was. If you are in the area then I would highly recommend giving them a try.

Nice and relaxing restaurant. Good ambience, prompt and friendly staff and nice food. The Healesville spring rolls were delicious. The food is quite mild and not spicy at all. If you want it spicy I would suggest you tell the staff that you want it like that!

Best Thai Restaurant we have been to in years and we eat a lot of Thai Food - excellent food, lovely choice of wines and very reasonable prices. The staff are all lovely, kind and knowledgeable. Great choices for gluten free - absolutely brilliant! Thank you and we will be back soon!

One of the BEST Thai restaurant we've ever been to.Whenever we go to Marysville, we always stopped here to have dinner before heading back to Melbourne. Food are always good, refreshing and freshly cooked. Can't wait to taste your food again. Recommend this place.

Nice and cozy Thai restaurant with the most delicious Thai food near Yarra Valley. Friendly and service-minded staff. Highly recommended Thai restaurant especially the one who likes spicy Thai food.

Very good food although seemed short staffed, friendly staff but service slow. If you have lots of time and are not hungry then you will like this restaurant

First time eating Thai food last night at this restaurant and absolutely loved it. Best meal I have ever eaten by far. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely be going back for more.

I have never been so consistently blown away by a restaurant before. Healesville Thai Kitchen has been my β€˜go to’ for years now whenever I’m feeling like eating out or getting takeaway. The staff are so amazing and so friendly, I have never felt so welcomed before. The food is delicious, and every meal I have from there I enjoy to the fullest extend. Absolutely incredible food and service!!

So happy we are close to the BEST THAI RESTAURANT! So fresh! Super delicious! Flavours are really balanced and lots of love is put into their dishes. We have tried a range of the menu and we have had no disappointments, very friendly over the phone too. Lovely service.

Lovely place for a Thai meal when you are out in the Yarra Valley area. Our group of 8 people were welcomed beautifully. The food was fantastic, fresh, fragrant, vibrant and super tasty. My Pad Se Ew was a good size but just a tad on the oily side. The Massaman Curry was popular among the group. Most of the options can be made vegetarian and they can also cater for gluten free easily. The seating is spacious and the atmosphere was pleasant and not too loud for a conversation. The service was efficient and friendly without being intrusive. Overall a lovely way to end a nice trip into the region. One word of warning is that the parking for this restaurant is behind the building down a fairly steep incline. If you have someone with disabilities/wheelchair, it is best to drop them off near the door and then park the car afterwards. Also be careful on the way back to the car if it is a wet day as it is slippery.

There were 4 of us for dinner at 6:30 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy but not flat out. We were greeted well and shown to our table promptly. Orders were taken soon after. The service was unassuming and friendly. There was about a 30 minute wait for the meals to arrive. It was worth the wait. Each of the 4 dishes was excellent with its own aroma and the quality was very good. We did not expect such a good standard in a small restaurant situated about 1km from the town centre. We will definitely be going there again as it is good value and good quality.

Can't compare to Michelin star restaurants, however for any Thai restaurant that is not Michelin star, 5/5! Loved it!! Will definitely be returning as quality food here.....

I have never left a review before but felt compelled. Never again. Flavourless. Prob most flavourless attempt at Thai I have ever tasted. Won't be trying again.
New management, not called Poppys anymore. Great Thai food all the favourites as you would expect or better. Service friendly and efficient, cozy surroundings and many locals.

Head staff member/owner was friendly, but broken english made ordering difficult and sort of hilarious. Younger waiting staff need to work on customer service skills, seems to resent us being there and having to serve us. Made us feel like a massive inconvenience. Had a "no split bills" policy, but the bill was reluctantly split for us anyway. I had a dinner meeting there, so was a bit distracted, but it was relatively quiet, which made discussion easy. Food seemed acceptable, not much wow factor. Parking was off street, dark and just plain scary.

Fawlty Towers comes to the Yarra Valley. Where do I start.

Ordered two Coronas. Waiter comes back and he says they have no Coronas. Ok. Ordered two Singhas. Two VBs turn up. I told the lady we ordered two Singhas. She comes back with a Corona and two Chang. Says there is only one Corona and no Singha. Ok. We have one of each.

Entree of lettuce cups turns up. Interesting. Quirky. Nice. Just like San Choi Bao only without the san, choi or bao, but nice enough. DIY lettuce cup with cashews, peanuts, toasted coconut, ginger, onion, chili and a sweet sauce. Mostly harmless.

Mains were a lemongrass stir fry with chicken and a ginger and fish fillet stir fry. A prawn dish turns up but is for another table. Our dishes eventuate but both are fish. We didn't realise this until we embarked on the second one. Ok.

The carrots in the stir fries were crinkle-cut and had peas and beans. Um. Frozen packet veggies? Not bad, but not usual.

Both dishes were mostly the same, one just had more ginger.

Water for the table required three requests. The young and definitely inexperienced waiter brought the bottle, then on my request, two glasses (and another bottle!). I was surprised there was no Siberian Hamster at this stage.

Meal was acceptable but one of the poorest Thai dining experiences I have had. It was definitely one of the most incompetent restaurants I have eaten at.

Paying the bill, some boozed up wino wanders out of the kitchen, swigs his beer and goes back in. Scared to think what goes on in there!

Shoddy service. Poor food quality and presentation. Basil and Manuel are infinitely more competent in comparison. Good for amusement value only.

Twice disappointed with service. Went to leave 50mins after being seated when we had needed to chase staff for a chance to order and STILL hadn't received drinks (let alone meals!) Young male waiter was very apologetic and gave us a $60 dining voucher hoping we'd return and give them a second chance...which we did. After making a booking and mentioning the voucher, we ordered and ate, and were presented with $85 bill. We provided our $60 voucher and were told by the owner/boss that it wasn't valid because the signature on it wasn't hers and she was the only one authorised to issue vouchers. We explained that we had no way of knowing such things and that her staff had issued the voucher to us for previous poor service, and also that we would not have come back if not for the voucher. She continued to argue that it wasn't valid and that she couldn't afford to give us the $60 off. In the end, we were given $15 off and had to pay $70 when we'd expected to pay $25. A disappointing outcome because the food is lovely but we won't be going back for that sort of service.
