You have to try something from their sandwich bar! Amazing service every time we go and the bakery selection of treats is second to none. This is a proper bakery and the best in Healesville by a country mile, trust me, I've tried them all... multiple times!

Awesome pies and great sandwiches! The best bakery in Healesville 👍. Us locals head here for a quick and reasonably priced lunch.

Loved this place. Warm and homely. I had a salmon Turkish pocket, others had the pumpkin soup, pulled pork roll and chunky beef pie. All were good except the pie. We also ordered chai latte, soy latte, hot chocolate and green tea. Recommended.

Just your average country town bakery. Nothing fancy, but the home of some delicious baked goods.

When work awaits and I have limited time in which to scoff down something adequate for breakfast, Wild Grains in Healesville delivers. Their coffees are surprisingly delicious and very affordable, even better are their loyalty cards which offers a free 7th coffee.

I love their Ham, Cheese and Tomato Toasties on freshly baked bread, with a nice coating of butter on either side to add to the flavour. I love their muffins too, especially the White Chocolate and Berry Muffins they sometimes bake on premises. This is a bakery worth stopping for, especially if you're a tourist cruising down the main street in Healesville.

Much better than your run of the mill bakery. Turkish pockets are a nice alternative to your standard sausage roll and meat pies. A small bakery but packs a punch.

Best bakery in town. They make great sandwiches to order, I often get them for lunch when working nearby. They always have lots of staff on so you get served quickly and efficiently, even when they're really busy. Good quality, delicious cakes and sweet treats as well as REALLY good pies! I'm always happy when I have an excuse to pop in :-)

Good option on way to zoo!. Want expecting much from reviews, but wasn't too bad, croissants were nice enough and a little unique. came. back later too, the pie was average. but good enough considering not much else around. cakes were. custard tart was. delicious, kids loved it too, good stuff.

After a snow trip to Lake Mountain, we stopped here on our return. I can honestly tell you the traditional vanilla slice with pink icing was the BEST vanilla slice I've had in 7 years! If your a vanilla slice connoisseur, stop here! Really good portion size as well. Added to this one stand out item, they also had a huge range of cakes, pies and freshly made sandwiches were also very inviting. Clearly a local favourite!

Stopped for breakfast on our way to camping in the high country. As first time customers with rumbling stomachs, we all walked in and was not disappointed.... freshly made bacon and egg toasties on a crisp morning was a welcome treat with a hot cappuccino to follow. What I really liked was the taste of bacon that tasted like the way it used to be all those years ago. Yum! Service was friendly and efficient. Glad we spotted this bakery. Will definitely stop here if and when we pass that way again.

Excellent food + coffee. I ordered a chocolate mud cake slice and a Chicken Schnitzel (which the staff helpfully toasted for me). Both were very tasty. My family bought chai lattes and a milkshake. The lattes were quite good (hot + a hint of cinnamon). Will definitely revisit when I'm back in Healesville!

Healesville has Humanity. Wow. Just wow. Tired, hungry, frustrated and no lunch. Bus only leave lake Eildon in morning and had to get down later in the day. Got a ride with a friend and then hitched a ride from Buxton. Arrived healesville about 10:45 and had just missed the last bus. Tried getting a ride for the next 3 hours and really having an aching gut. To avoid having to desperately dig through the bins for a bite to eat, i went to Coles who's staff though they may have wanted to help and I had the $$. Company policy restrained them. I set my way to Aldi to see if anything was salvageable and the smell of the bakery gave me HOPE. I knocked and asked, they delivered. Saving me the humiliation and shame of degradation. The cooks that early morning did well even though I paid for the food, they provided for me at a needy time. Blessed are you for you truly know what humanity is. I'd come back anytime. The stomach grumbles and aches silenced at last. P.s I couldn't drive down due to busted fuel line and whole other sob story. Not going to mess up the good stuff here. Thank you and please remember to be kind, even despite the risks, yet for your safety be discerning what's really going on.
