Nice clean place, friendly staff and good Turkish food. Tried meal #13 mixed shish and my friend tried a lamb kebab; they had 2 bread options which was cool (Turkish bread or pita). Thought it was good value!
4.5. A great suburban find! (Kudos to my partner for insisting I must try it.) I ordered the lamb kebab with garlic sauce and it came in the most delicious grilled bread. Probably the best bread I've had with a kebab I think. The lamb was tasty and well marinaded, and there was the usual option of veggies, a wide selection of dips and shredded cheddar cheese for those inclined. Tried some of my partner's chicken kebab with garlic + capsicum dip and it was super tasty! Great combination of flavours. We also shared the potato pide, and whilst it was nice, there was probably too much carb for my liking, and I'd probably get the mince or cheese pide next time. Highly recommended.
Never disappoints me this place
The only problem with it is it is not open at 3am
Meat is always beautiful
Bread, dips and salad are all lovely
Staff keep to themselves
But if we are basing this purely on food, it can not be faulted
After being closed for the Christmas to New Year break, I was relieved to find Kebabs on Bell KOB open this evening. And they did not disappoint us.
The service was just as I have always found it..friendly and the food ( a Chicken and a Lamb doner to go), was served without any delay.
But what I liked most- next to the smiling and friendly lady who served me - was the quantity, quality and taste of their kebabs. Simply excellent.
For starters they served it in Turkish Bread NOT a store bought packet pita bread. This bread was soft and tasty.
The filling was generous and the salad was fresh. And finally, their prices are very reasonable.
I highly recommend Kebabs on Bell.
These guys make a pretty damn good hsp! I was working late tonight and had to stop for dinner. Was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the meat. The prices are a bit steep, but the serving sizes are big so it's well worth the price.
By the off chance me and a mate stopped and decided on Kebabs on Bell, it was a very busy shop. Extremely surprised with the look of all meals being served, staff where excellent. Starting with the Lamb, AMAZING probably the best l have had. Hommus Dips l absolutely love but yeah finding a decent one these days is hard. These guys have a really nice Hommus, perfectly blended with the right amount of everything. Bread was slightly disappointing as it was fresh but served cold. Turkish bread needs to be hot and hard.
If you are near the area or wanting a pleasant surprise then do try this place it will not dissapoint. The only let down is the shop has three tables which l think really limits the amount of ppl that would actually sit in and eat. Maybe break the tables up and make them slightly closer to one another, we didn’t have the chance to sit in as all tables had been taken so we ate in the car out front.
Pleaaase open on Sundays!!!
HSP is a killer, especially if you get chicken salt on the chips - oh yeah!
Quality is always good, a bit on the pricey side but serves are massive - so consider going halvies. Being close to NMIT, lunchtime queues can be a bit long. Good place to get fresh soft Turkish bread.
I've been coming here since 2009, 9 years. It's almost always been perfect. The real pieces of meat and chicken taste awesome, it's not processed. The turkish bread is homemade and literally the reason I go here instead of anywhere else. The dips and salads are good too!
Looking for a new local for a kebab, we were recommended to Kebabs on Bell and loved it.
Beautiful soft kebab bread, this can make or break a kebab.
Great quality lamb and fresh salad ingredients.
Fantastic value at $25 for two Kebabs and a drink.
Will definitely be back!
Best Kebabs i have eaten in Melbourne and the most amazing bread you can buy for just 4 dollars. Service is good too. Easy to find location next to Aldi making it convenient for shoppers to quickly grab a bite.
What sets Kebabs on Bell apart from the competition is that their Turkish bread actually looks and tastes like Turkish bread! Big, massive, fluffy, tasty bread, that isn't crushed into an unrecognisable wrap. As a lover of carbs, this is perfect in complementing the lamb or chicken and salad, which are also presented in decent amount and proportions.
I was so surprised by this place, it's awesome. Go for the lamb shish meal or the fresh baked pide. So good!!!! The home made bread and dips are also delicious. ........
Could not rate this place higher. Best kebabs in Melbourne.Turkish bread is so moist and thick, meat cooked to perfection.Staff are also great!
nice Kebab shop, ladies are always welcoming, good quality kebabs, little bit pricey but food quality covers that, have been here many times, never disappointed. I surely recommend to others, Good Job Kebabs on Bell.
Fast , easy and some of the best kebabs and HSP Melbourne has to offer. It's not fancy, it's based in a strip of shops but I can't fault the food whatsoever. I come here almost every week. Keep it up
My favourite kebab joint and never fails to please. I've been coming here since the beginning and love it. It's all good. The meat. The dips. The fresh bread. You can't go wrong!
Something special about the garlic sauce. You get a good dose of this saucy goodness when you order a kebab. A tip is ask for a bit extra, it's that good!
Seriously best Kebab shop in Melbourne, possibly the world. Mixed Grilled Shish meal is just ridiculously good, worth the 10 minute wait. Amazing home made turkish bread. Always nice and clean and friendly staff. Can get pretty busy so time your entry.
I passed through their shop everyday for almost 2 years,
Today aas my last day in that area,
Thought I'd give it a try,
Probably one of the best HSP available on Melbourne,
The chip's were crunchy, and the meat was fresh and tender,
Prefect combination.
Staff was super friendly,
Only thing I regret is why I didn't tried it earlier.😥
Here is a reveiw for our local favourite kebab joint. We have tried almost everything on the menu, good quality of food, reasonably priced and friendly staff. The only negative of this place is that they run out of everyones favourite meat ie: lamb very quickly! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent takeaway in Heidelberg/Ivanhoe.
Only ever had the adana kebab. It takes about 15 mins to cook but it is absolutely amazing and worth the wait even on a busy night. Slightly spicey mince in a fluffy Turkish flat bread with plenty of salads and a choice of their dips. Staff are always friendly.
Somehow quite hard to find home made turkish bread for mix kebab, this bread is very fluffy and tasty, a little less softer than the one i always go at broadmeadow near the station, but this one still taste good.
$17 large Mix grilled lamb and chicken are both very good, not salty and taste just right, i find some kebab places make the meat too salty.
I like the cucumber tip with a lot of cucumber dices in it, very crunchy.
Noticed many people come in to take away kebab roll, very massive roll.
Clean and tidy kebab house, will definitely go back again.
Top kebabs in Melbourne. Been comin to this joint for years, never been disappointed,I've had over 20 years experience in food service industry,my message to these guys is don't change, stay the way u are.
Amazing food, always great. Best Turkish bread we have ever eaten (including when I was in Turkey)!
Possibly the best kebabs you'll ever try.. These guys are head and shoulders above any other kebab I've ever had anywhere, even in a sit-down restaurant. Right now they have a 94% rating and if that's incorrect, it's incorrect because it's too low. They really are that good.
Note: they are closed for all of January every year. People who complain that they always seem to be closed presumably are coming in Jan. Apart from that their hours are quite reasonable and consistent.
Best Turkish bread ever! Soft and fresh. Salad was fresh and crisp as well. I had the chicken meal and assumed it would be breast meat grilled on a skewer but unfortunately I was diss appointed when it was just chicken shaved off the spit onto the plate. Next time I'll order grilled meat instead. I also had the baklava. It was quite soggy and limp and the layers were thicker than expected. Overall, I would go back again but would change my order up next time.
THE BEST KEBAB YOU WILL EVER HAVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. WOW WOW WOW !!!!!! Spotless clean shop !! Friendly happy staff !! Now everything i've had here is beautiful. The kebabs are full of flavor, fresh & so tasty, the turkish bread is so good & the home made sweets are to die for !!! The drinks are always nice & cold, the minute you walk into this shop you know its going to be good !!! always busy that means the food is always fresh, they don't call me big John for nothing..............the food is GREAT !!!
Best Kebab. Amazing Kebabs. Always tasty. The proper Turkish bread makes it. Yummy.
Best vegan falafel kebab in Melbourne
Best kebabs in the area! Always fresh & always served with a smile...

Loved the kebabs, mix grill and mixed shish specially
Not the best photo but me and my brother got a mixed meal and a hsp and it was delicious the staff were kind the bloke was funny too! I don't know why this place is 4.1 it should be at 4.6 the least keep it up guys thanks for the tasty food
Best kebabs I've ever tasted! Furkan's customer service is always top-notch, the food is delicious, and the servings are generous. I find the price comparable to other lunch meals in Melbourne, but the value is better.
Really good kebab. Portion size, flavour all so so great. This was in relation to the mixed donner meal, good value at $23. The bread on the side was a nice touch. I’ll definitely be coming back here
Amazing Tasty Kababs. I liked the Turkish bread but if you want the Aussie wrap style you have to ask for it. The meat is really tasty and high quality and if you are lucky you will meet Furkan the professional boxer working with his dad. Ask for a selfie, bonus! Definitely a cut above the rest when it comes to take away food.
Best kebab I've had in a long time. You have to pay for quality. Some reviews complaining it is too expensive to order online/delivery, but pick up is certainly reasonable prices for the decent portion size you get. I paid $50 to feed 3 hungry people. For quality food you really cannot complain. Their quality is next to none. I am happy to pay for quality anytime. This is about as traditional and authentic you can get when it comes to Turkish food. I also tried their Adana and it is some of the best I have ever eaten. Highly recommend this restaurant.
