Thankyou to John and staff at Cillini in celebrating my wifes 50th Birthday, The night was fantastic and food was excellent. Service i could not fault and my wifes surprise and joy no words could replace it. The venue was well set up and highly recomend anybody doing a function to seriously consider this lounge. We had a lot of great feedback from guests and those comments you know nothing more could of been done. Oh dear. The conversation went like this:
"Are the eggs benedict gluten free?" (after noting on the menu that they have gluten free bread/toast).
"No".
"Um, can you make them gluten free?"
"Yes".
So, hubby's eggs benedict came out, two bits of gluten free bread that was toasted, two bits of ham on top, two poached eggs - but where was the "homemade" hollandaise sauce they advertised on their menu?
For my part, I was looking forward the combination of two of my favourite breakfasts - smashed avo and eggs benedict, there wasn't a lot of avo and it hadn't been seasoned, so apart from the hollandaise sauce it was a bit tasteless.
In terms of hubby's breakfast, we asked to be charged for ham and eggs rather than eggs benedict, because without the sauce, well, it's only ham and eggs on toast isn't it?
Hmmm, a bit disappointing, but if you like your coffee strong, go here.

I attended a 21st birthday here, which was my first visit to the venue, and I was greeted by a huge open space with plenty of room to bust a move and loads of tasty canapĂ©s. Seems like they do a lot of functions here because the staff and food service were seamless. Everyone had a fabulous night and I can see why itâs a popular choice for events
I celebrated my daughters baptism at Cellini's yesterday and it was terrific. The function space was great, the food was delicious and the staff were wonderful and very attentive. Highly recommend.

Celebrated a friends birthday here recently and had such a fun night we didn't want to leave. The food was fantastic and the salmon was cooked perfectly to my individual request. The staff are amazing and so attentive, will definitely be back - can't wait!!
The Cellini Lounge Bar in Heidelberg is absolutely fantastic! Brilliant location, friendly and attentive waiters and delicious, flavoursome meals.
A beautiful, positive and relaxed vibe when you walk in, a lovely outdoor seating area and most importantly a wide range of options on the menu. There is something for everyone! I highly recommend this restaurant, definitely a must visit! Can't wait to go back!

We recently celebrated my daughter's confirmation at Cellini's in their function room. We could not have been happier - the food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. Management and staff went above and beyond to ensure the celebration was perfect. They were extremely accommodating to all of our requests. The food was certainly plentiful and of a high standard. We were thoroughly impressed with Cellini's and highly recommend the venue.
We come to Cellinis for breakfast every weekend no doubt. And I can honestly say that it's the best quality and value breakfast anywhere in Heidelberg area. The staff are very nice, and are very welcoming.
Recently had my daughters 21st birthday here and from the outset all the staff were friendly and courteous. The whole night went without a hitch thanks to John and his team. Our guests were impressed with firstly with the amount of food served on the night and secondly the great quality of the food was second to none, unlike most receptions these days. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place for a celebration look no further than Cellinis we were so impressed.

We have been coming hear for breakfast some years now and now we bring our toddler along as they make a good babycino. The service has always been excellent - Raj is attentive and helpful. The value of the breakfasts have been great. Our toddler loves watching the trains and buses go by as we enjoy our meal. Highly recommended!
Best Mojitos in all of Banyule! Very hard to find an eatery/ cafe / bar that does decent cafes in the banyule area. Only went in for a couple of post dinner drinks. Great attentive hospitality. I love, love, love the mojito's I had at Cellini's.

Came here a week or so ago. Family meal of pizzas. Toppings were of great quality (no shredded ham!) and bases were perfect. delicious! Would definitely come back again

Came here last night for a family dinner. There were 15 of us and we seemed to have the whole place to ourselves just about the whole night. Which meant we were well looked after. Service was very friendly and jokes around a lot. Food was a notch up from pub food. However we all left very satisfied. Unsure of what the bill came too, as my brother and his girlfriend surprised shouted us all. I'd come back if I were a local. Thanks!
We always enjoy it here. Something for everyone... Food better than local pub food so it's often fully booked. Try the calamari it's usually tender as pictured. The staff are attentive as a rule and remember repeat custom. On the whole a lovely middle of the road staple in our area.
6 of us had brunch. Owner couldn't be friendlier & staff are efficient. Big brekkie is what it says and more than fairly priced. As was the Eggs Benedict. Good atmosphere & importantly the toilets were very clean! Good all round spot for a casual feed with an Owner who obviously has passion for his business! Definitely be back.

Budget friendly with Quality food &Service. Great value for money for my family, we thoroughly enjoyed $8.90Big Brekkie after a long day at the hospital.I must say Vow for that prize and the quality was to our expectation, especially the scrambled egg was fluffy and silky, and the gluten free bread was nice and crunchy for my mum ,she was happy. A feast from the East!. The culture of this venue contains a tranquil milieu. Youâre able to conversate with your friends devoid of obligating to shout over the top of other publics. Itâs a relaxed proposal to dine comfortably in. To begin, we decided on an appetizer special of the day: Pomegranate jus and grilled calamari wrapped around forkfuls of Lebanese rice and some unidentified pungent substances. I wish I had ordered this dish as a main. The fiancĂ© and I resisted pacing ourselves from demolishing this greatest exclusivity and calamari is one of my fianceâs LEAST favoured protein sources. It was at this point that we agreed a feast was obligatory, attributable to the finesse of these culinary chefs, and the gracious service provided to us. I opted for a secondary special which was a calzone filled with salmon, Camembert cheese spinach and a multiplicity of flavours again foreign to my understanding but receptive to my taste buds. The calzone unaided by the fillings were sufficient to consume on its own as it was that superb. The method of this product was moreover a compressed pastry than pizza dough. No complaints there. Aioli was a touch tarty for my preference but still in seamless sequence with the food. My fiancĂ© requested the Atlantic salmon served with crushed chat potato, topped with bĂ©arnaise sauce. This cuisine was world class. No traces of fishy tang or aroma, succulence throughout its nucleus. There was no way that we would depart without dessert. Molten chocolate pudding served warm with salted caramel ice cream for the fiancĂ©, Nutella pizza and ice cream for myself. The most sensational pudding ever to have introduced to my lips. We simply could not fathom the combination of salted caramel and ice-cream! Furthermore the doughiness of my Nutella pizza base so addictive, that I neglected the pain of my ever-expanding stomach until after our plates were mopped sparkling clean. An un-regrettable, unforgettable expedition that we both yearn to recapitulate very, very soon!!! THANK YOU CELLINI!

Big Lamb!! shanks cooked to perfection and wife loved her honey glazed chicken. Shared Apple Crumble with ice cream and coffee hot as requested. All good value. Small glass wine $8.50 Pricey!! Table to rear comfortable. Avoid front, cold air when door opens.

Extraordinary service!. After visiting a relative at a nearby hospital on a Thursday, we were famished but had no booking for dinner. We rocked up to Cellini at 8pm. It was full. There were 8 of us! But the owner (?) saw how much we needed to eat and managed to move people around tables so that we were able to be seated together. The food was great. I had the four cheese pasta - delish! My partner had a pizza which I got a taste of and it was fantastic! Every one of enjoyed our food. The service was great and our waiter (the same guy who seated us) had an awesome sense of humour. Nothing was too difficult!! We'll definitely be back!!!!!!
Went here with group from work, and had seen recent negative reviews, so was a bit concerned. Meal and service were fine. Recommend the wonderful lamb shanks. Caesar salad wad good, but not outstanding. Will be back with the wife to see how they do on a weekend.

Very enjoyable. Went to dinner with my wifes extended family( at least i didn't have to drive) . had not heard of this place, looked it up lots of really mixed reviews, its my sister in laws favourite place to eat she said twice a week. firstly the menu is enormous ,with lots of good stuff to chose from .the staff were really helpful we had a very tall asian man at our end, looked after us with ease the other end where the oldies were was a very vibrant lady who seemed like she owned the place.we got lots of mixed stuff for starters ,the oldies picked .wow the prawns that came out were amazing looked great tasted amazing and really fresh,the other stuff was good dips and stuff .bread was a little dry . we picked our mains .nearly all the old guys at the other end got beef and reef (not really my cup of tea) my wife wanted to share our mains which means she wants wants to pick mine as well .chicken saltenbocca ???? not veal and the fish special salmon with a soup thing (can't remember the word). both were really good .chicken was a hit .the pizza across he table looked amazing. i got food envy when i saw and tasted the reef and beef. the sirloin was better than i had at most of the good steak houses in town.sauce was on the side( which i thought was strange ) now i know why it was so yummy .more was asked for and received with joy .couldnt fit in dessert what was bought out looked good and it all was finished. wine list a little limited but could get it all by the glass at reasonable prices.we had a table full of bottles to chose from anyway. we finished with shots of zambucca .time to pay and was really surprised by how cheap it was . i guess thats why uncle insisted on paying. still can't believe i now want to drive to heidi for reef and beef.will be back soon.hope it lives up to my expectations.

Fantastic! A+++. Came past Cellini cafe for lunch as a few friends had recommended it.
I dined with 4 other girl friends who had never been there before either.
We were shown a table, given menus and the waiter poured us all some water.
Our drinks came out within a few minutes and we were given time to look over the menu.
So many different kinds of foods that you may not see so much in other restaurants. I ordered the Wagyu Beef burger which inside had some spinach, roasted tomato, bacon, caramelized onions and feta and the meat was cooked perfectly, the presentation was great and it tasted delicious.
I am usually a very fussy eater, especially when trying new things but I must say it could have possibly been one of the most tastiest burgers I have had in a long time, even the Chips were yum & seasoned. My friends were also very happy about their meals.
Service was great, the staff were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.

Had lunch there yesterday. I arrived early and was made welcome whilst I waited for my 2 companions. I was offered water and promply seated I had the mussels. They were sensational. My friends ordered the sandwich options. They can with chips and salad. Very generous portions. We found the service attentive. The wine list was good. Will be back We did not experience the issues the other reviewers had.
Great service. I would like to thank Cellini café for the great support, food and service that was provided to me while my wife was in hospital for the last two weeks. I had dinner in the restaurant quite often during this time. I would like to sincerely thank the staff who was friendly and welcomed me with a warm smile each time I visited, the food was tasty and to top it off, on a couple of occasions I asked for several menu alterations to meet my wife's dietary needs, so I could take dinner back to her. The staff was very helpful and obliging, like nothing was a problem. Many thanks, I will see you very soon with my wife for dinner. It is great to see that such restaurants do exist.
Love Cellini. What a great function! I recently booked my 40th birthday party at café Cellini. The Function Room was just the right venue for my 150 guests who could not stop talking about my party. The positive feedback that I received in the days to follow was amazing and pleasing to hear. The food was sensational, and there was lots of it too! The atmosphere was exciting, everyone just seemed to be enjoying themselves all night and the beer garden provided an extra 'casual' touch to the night. John and his staff were very accommodating, paying particular attention to the finer details, ensuring that all the requirements promised were provided. I would strongly recommend this venue to anyone - great space, great service and great value for money. Keep up the great work "Cellini".
Highly recommended. I highly recommend cafe Cellini. I booked a table for my girlfriend and i as it was our anniversary. The service was excellent as the gentlemen took great care of us. the staff were polite and the food was delicious. we had the linguini marinara and the lamb Souvlaki, and the portion size of the meals were huge. My girlfriend and i were greatly satisfied and definitely got our money's worth. cafe Cellini gets my tick

Went in on a quiet Tuesday for lunch. Had the seafood linguine and mushroom risotto. Both tasted amazing! Portions were great and dishes were reasonably priced. Staff were lovely too. Would definitely go again :)
