Working in Heidelberg, I just wanted a cafe that served decent food at a good price (ham and salad sandwich anyone?) This is it. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a smile - they are glad to see you and it shows in every way. And a bonus, they are quick and phone orders are always ready in time. Thanks! A homely and delightful cafe on the streets of Heidelberg. With decent food and coffee, this place has loads of character, history and perfect for a catchup with friends and family. The staff are friendly and I love there is a social enterprise running by the Uniting Church next door.
Social enterprise run by church. Classic cakes, shakes, pancakes etch with beautiful vintage homely ambiance. Staff very nice & accommodating, welcoming. Price decent & meals made with care & good quality. Nice seating outside. All the sandwiches & shakes , ice coffee was great! Overall rating 5*
Friendly unpretentious service, inexpensive food which is consistently tasty. Served on variety of chic older-style crockery, delicious soups & quiches, a yummy range of fresh cakes. Good range of leaf teas and good coffee. Recommended

Nice little church coffee shop on the corner. Staff are nice. Food simple. Salad dressing and tomato sauce available on the table inside.
Nice small place in a busy street and friendly staff. Would like to see more choices in menu. Most of the items were breakfast/egg dishes. Cracked pepper would be nice to have...maybe I should have asked! Was there only once, the locals lay like it more than I did.

Run by the church next door and decked out with what seems like grandma's furniture and tableware, the coffee and food is good and homely. The service staff seem to be from the disadvantaged community which adds to an unjudgemental and relaxed atmosphere. Wheelchair access. Eftpos and cash. Breakfast, soups, sandwiches and pastries. There's also a little giftshop inside. I am not associated with the church but it is nice too see a business take on disadvantaged people, even if it is voluntary.
Staff r so friendly. Lovely homestyle food. Best hamburger ever. Gr8 brioche bun and so tasty. 10/10. Lovely patrons. Certainly no bogans. My fav place for lunch. Lovely atmosphere
Cozy, with plenty of newspapers, great coffee, delicious homely (free range) food, and after all that, it's a Uniting Church charity.
This is my favourite place to hide away and feel good about buying myself a treat.
Lovely, cosy spot both inside and outside (for when the weather is good!). Staff is friendly, chatty and create a really comfortable atmosphere to sit in and snack on some great breakfast!
