Great place, great food, great service.
Food was amazing, would thoroughly recommend this place.
If you are looking for a place with a warm friendly atmosphere then please give Black Swan a go.

The food, service and atmosphere were all spectacular..and the wine 'Black Swan Late Harvest 2015, was nectar of the gods..I shall be returning as soon as I can, and highly recommend if you haven't dined here yet ..make haste, as it is fabulous.. Try the 'Beermisu' for dessert....my tastebuds were ecstatic!
Popped in without a booking and weren't made to feel like we'd committed a crime for doing so like some places do! Invited to choose our own table. Service was great and best of all, the food and Black Swan wine were impeccable! For 2 adults and 2 Tweens we had the lamb, the pork belly, the mussels, the (entree) calamari plus a bottle of wine and a softies jug. Everything was delicious and served hot and without too much of a wait. It was slightly pricier than what we would normally spend ($160 total) but we thought it was well worth it.
We had my mother's 80th lunch here today there were 21 of us, can't fault a thing, staff were great and organized, food was amazing, beautiful setting and the added bonus of live music. Will highly recommend it. Thank you Black Swan for a very enjoyable day.
Was a wonderful place to share a birthday with my friends. Lovely friendly abliging staff. Thank you.
Very surprised very good feeling walking in there were four of us and shared plates ,food was good well presented Cara looked after us
Fabulous food! Attentive and wonderful staff, the beef cheeks were fab and so was the squid! Great wine and left feeling very happy! We will be back
Faultless 3 courses for each of us at Black Swan. One of the best overall meals we have had in a long time.

We have been to the restaurant at the Black Swan winery a number of times, always coming away impressed by the quality of the food in what is one of the Valley’s best winery restaurants. The dining area has pretty views over lawns at the back and down to the vines and the Darling Scarp in the background; the room comfortable and with a welcoming ambience.
Great restaurant. I went with my sister the other day for lunch and we were both extremely pleased with our meals. My tasting plate was huge! The waitress was very friendly and helpful and she helped us to pair wines with our food. I highly recommend The Black Swan.
Nice place to share a few varied tasting plates with friends over a glass of wine. Lovely outlook over the vines to the hills. Service people worked hard and were efficient.
What an amazing surprise in the Swan valley.... nicest meal I’ve had in a very long time! Wines were great too... can’t wait to go back. Also very surprised at the reasonable prices!
Lovely spot for a birthday Sunday lunch, with glasses of sparkling and gorgeous food. The Morton Bay Bugs came in an interesting Indian sauce, which was an unusual twist on the otherwise Modern Australian menu but was nice enough. The goat’s cheese tart was delicious. Others in my party enjoyed the fish and lamb dishes. Dessert was also pleasant with all being sampled by our table with positive reviews. Great views of the adjoining vineyards and Perth hills.
5 of us had a most enjoyable extended lunch on New Year's Day. We had a variety of entrees, mains and desserts and all were great. The crepes suzettes was (were?) divine! The staff were attentive and friendly and our table overlooked the vineyard.
We'll be going back!
A lovely setting with great food. The service was okay, although the initial welcome wasn't that smooth and we weren't given enough menus.
We enjoyed the pork, barramundi and chicken. The barramundi and pea risotto was a standout.
This is the second time I have attended this restaurant and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. The setting is lovely and the food is tasty. I highly recommend the pork belly. I would prefer the entrees to be a bit more diverse for those who eat smaller plates of food as a meal.
Food was delicious, there was a salmon minestrone soup which was wonderful. The service was exceptional, most attentive that I've received yet. I was with my kid outside and when the food came, the waiter came to us to let us know that the food would be out shortly. Small gestures like these were big thumbs up for service.
Menu is different from the pictures.
Have been there for lunch twice in the past month. Both times we have had a complimentary wine tasting prior to the meal. The wait staff have been friendly and courteous without being intrusive or over bearing and the food has been excellent. Enjoyed the King Prawn Aranciniballs and Porkbelly. It will be one of our semi-regular restaurants
Enjoyable evening with lovely staff. Service was fantastic. The meals are a very generous size. The entrees were delicious, I highly recommend the squid. The prawns were a small let down, as the prawns were quite small and you could not taste a hint of chilli at all. The mains were huge. Beef cheek papperdelle was very filling, amd the pasta was a little on the overcooked side. There was to much beef for my preference, but for others that may not be a bad thing. Lamb was cooked well. Churros had way to much sugar on them and the chocolate saice tasted a little burnt. I would recommend trying this restaurant. I would like to dine here for lunch and see of it differs.
Nice winery and good food. We were a large group so we ordered a few sharing pates and almost all the mains in the menu. Food is very very nice. I also had their Bold red wine. Very enjoyable. Nice ambience with garden overlooking the vines and live music.
We had my daughter's 21st there last night and I have to say that we couldnt have chosen a better venue. Organisation by the staff and function co-ordinator was faultless and the night went off without a hitch. Staff were so professional and couldn't do enough to accommodate everything asked for. Special mention to Robyn on the tills, our waitress wearing the white top (I'm very sorry I didn't get your name and Michael (the barman), your service was outstanding. The food was beautifully presented and so very tasty, our guests were raving about it. I would highly recommend. Thanks again for everything :)
We went here today and ordered the tasting platter to share. The food came out very quickly and everything on the board was beautifully cooked. Our favorite was definitely the arancini balls, yum! For mains, I ordered the quail dish and my partner ordered the pork. We both loved our dish, the meat was perfectly cooked and very tender. No sides needed as the portions are very generous! We had a wonderful afternoon, great atmosphere!
Good location for a quiet Saturday afternoon drink. We had the share platter and substituted the prawns for extra mushroom aranchini balls - delicious! Each element on the share plate was great. The decor is a little boring but the view over the vineyard is lovely. I had the house white, which was ok, nothing amazing. The service was really friendly and super quick!!
Lovely service, well presented staff and beautiful food with a view! Would recommend to anyone planning on coming to Swan Valley for lunch or even dinner.
Food was very good albeit on the steep-side. We tried the tomato & seafood bouillabaisse, grilled fillets of Kimberley barramundi, and slow roasted rump of Amelia Park lamb. Unfortunately the ambience let the place down; it is a large hall filled with tables and the noise from drunken chatter and loud music was overwhelming. We were there during the Christmas party season so it may not always be like this. Nonetheless I am not a fan of big hall dinning, so I don’t think we’ll come back.
My husband, mother and I attended Black Swan Winery for lunch on new years eve. My mum was extremely happy with the Thai warm chicken salad and my Caesar salad was also very nice. All ingredients were very fresh. My husband ordered the the parpadelle which was swimming in white sauce and lacked seasoning. The rose was delicious and we ended up purchasing 3 bottles of it. The service during our visit was average from some staff members. I tried ordering my Caesar salad with duck (as per the menu) and was quite rudely told that it could come with chicken. When I referenced the menu I was told that I must have been given an old menu. This should be addressed as it is not a customers fault if they are trying to order off of an out of date menu.
We dropped in at 1:00 pm on a busy Saturday without a booking but the found us a table overlooking the vineyards (table 33 - best in the house!). Our order was placed behind three large BD parties so it took an hour and a half to get our food. However, sipping wine with this amazing view made the extra time feel like a gift. The staff were very apologetic and brought us some bread. When the meals arrived (paella, veal chop, Caesar salad and creme brûlée), it was worth the wait. One of the best meals in the Swan Valley with an outstanding view. We understand why their entry area is covered in awards. We will be back, but not if we are in a hurry.
Wonderful in every way. Food was amazing. Staff were helpful and kind, going above and beyond duty to ensure my Mums birthday was perfect. Location is breathtaking. Highly recommend dining here.
This used to be the best restaurant in the area, the food is great, the service was not as it used to be. I think the owners do not work the floor or give any customer service...hence they don't know what is really needed. I think if the owners cared exactly what goes into providing a great customer experience this would be the best place. It is SO close to being the ultimate dining experience. Perhaps a little training for the staff and owners...
Food was great!!! Wanted to lick my plate. Lovely wine selection good view. Was here as a party of 11. Food game out at the same time. Had a great time, left a little wobbly
Date Night Worthy. After a chance mid-week lunch with my mother and daughter, I took my husband back for a 'date night'.
For entree we had the pork belly and the trio of salmon. Both were beautifully presented and tasted as good as they looked.
For mains we had the fish of the day (a sweet-lip snapper) and surf and turf, both of which were world class and could have easily been served at any top restaurant across Perth.
The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. We were even asked if we'd more of a respite before mains were served (which is very rarely offered around Perth)
We chose the Black Swan Shiraz and enjoyed it so much took a bottle home.
For standard pricing in the Swan Valley, the Black Swan exceeded our expectations and would recommend a visit to everyone.
FABULOUS SUNDAY LUNCH. Great food, efficient friendly service and pleasant surroundings. Live background music was much appreciated too. Excellent place for a celebration. At no time were we made to feel rushed.
Dissappointed. Dined on 22/3/15 for a Birhday lunch as have done so at this restaurant in previous years. We find the food is always excellent and staff are generally focused on good customer service. This Birthday outing finished on a bit of a sour note. The steak ordered as a main- "medium rare" was presented "well done". We never complained. Our group all had entrees and main course plus wine & spirit drinks. The total bill was quite substancial, over $400. Unfortunately, when paying we forgot to present our 2 x Entertainment Cards which would have given us a 25% discount. Within a minute of paying we advised staff of the mistake and asked if the bill could be re-calculated. NO, NO, NO.....could not be done. The explanation given even advised about Coles and their store processes about adjustments. What has this to do with Black Swan and keeping customers happy for future return/s and recommendations? Next years Birthday celebrations might just be at another restaurant as this has left a bitter taste in the mouth,
As someone who works in hospitality, I found our Sat evening here sublime. We also observed the group from the review "Overpriced and poor/rude service". Our meals were succulent and delicious - very timely also and the wine that we ordered was served on proper wine glasses that accentuates the aromas beautifully. Courteous, polite and professional service without being over bearing or pushy at all. I found it good value for an evening out, $145 for the two of us with a main, dessert and wine. As for the negative review below, some people should perhaps stick to breweries and cafes. As in an a la carte setting you need to be considerate of the other diners in your group and other patrons.

Lovely
Excellent dinner. Black swan is one of my favouirtes in the Swan Valley. The food is always delicious, the service is on par and the view is really nice. The drink service can be slow and i think the prices are a little high but it is a nice treat!
Wonderful Lunch. We visited the Black Swan yesterday gor lunch on the recommendation of a friend. We had not made a booking and the restaurant was very busy. Tge gentlenan on the door said no problem and found us a table, given that there was so nant big parties in. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly suprised. The staff were very pleasant and attentive, our orders were taken promptly and the food was lovely. The portion sizes were perfect and the menu gad just the right amount of choice. I was driving but my husband had a few glasses of the Bkack Swan Cabernet Merlit and was impressed. We will be vack to sample the Black Swan on an evening soon.
Always great.. Beautiful views, lovely wine, outstanding food and great service.
Great dining experience. We visited the Blsck Swan restustsnt on the 2nd Jan for dinner. We found the food great and the staff were extremely welcoming and very friendly. My wife had the lamb which she thought was the best she had eaten in a long time. I had the goat curry and thought this was great also. Would highly recommend for a meal.
We went to Black Swan for our anniversary lunch. I was so impressed with everything, the staff were attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the wagyu steak, melt in your mouth. Would definitely come back again
Fantastic. My wife and I took some friends visiting Perth for dinner. We had a beautiful view of the grape vines from our table and we were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable waiter. The food was great, scallops, bruscheta, terrine for starters, Pork Loin, Goat Curry, Lasagne for mains and Creme brule's and Espresso Martini for desert. The staff were so attentive, very unusual for Perth and very reasonably priced. $275 minus $40 dollars from entertainment book, so $235. That was for 3 starters, 4 mains, 2 deserts, a cocktail and a bottle of excellent white wine. Will go back again!!
A reason to visit the valley. A friend and I dined here for a lunch on Monday and has given us so many reasons to go back! After we were promptly seated we were asked if we would like to do some tastings to help pick a wine to go with our meal! The young gent helping us couldn't have been more helpful or knowledgeable about the wine and even showed us the menu whilst tasting so he could help pick the right wine to match our food. We both decided on a glass of champagne to match our sublimely cooked scallops seared beautifully on both sides nice and caramelised on top of a velvety sweet corn purée and lovely air dried chorizo was a match made in heaven! For main course I had the Prawn linguini which was well balanced seasoned lovely and beautifully fresh! My friend had a Scotch fillet which was cooked to perfection and accompanied well with prosciutto wrapped green beans, slow roasted Roma tomatoes and a beautiful jus. The whole time of the meal the wait staff were attentive replacing the cutlery for the steak and topping our wine up that had been recommended and was top notch also. I felt ashamed I couldn't fit dessert in but however after this experience I will be back to the Black Swan and if this level is kept I and my friend will definitely becoming regulars! Well done to the staff and chefs here and I wish they rise up and show off their talents to so many more people that should walk through there doors. Well Done Black Swan
Very rich food, good choice and beautiful ambience. Yes, it's on the more expensive side and yes, the service is slow when it's busy but the food is beautiful quality and we thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch.
Lovely View. We ate lunch here on a Friday in June. The service was attentive and the food very enjoyable. We had seafood chowder and Chicken & champagne pate with balsamic onions and brioche’ for starters and Beef Rendang and the pasta special. But the best thing was the view! Looking out over vineyards stretching down the valley with gorgeous winter sunshine. It's worth stopping at Black Swan taste their yummy wines and enjoy the view.
Job Well Done. I ate here at the end of last year and was less than impressed but let me tell you how times have changed! A friend who lives in the swan valley who dines there regularly invited for lunch on the long weekend and I was hesitant to go but thought hey give it another shot! Well il be back again for sure,! To start a beautiful creamy seafood chowder with a lovely spread of seafood and a slight hint of aniseed to play off was delicious. For my main course I had a delightful goat curry was not too hot but packed with flavour! The wait staff were attentive and water and wine was topped up as we needed! All I all the turn around in this place is amazing and I would like to congratulate the staff and the chef on a wonderful lunch in a beautiful setting! We will b back!
Amazing. Absolutely amazing food and wine. The service is exceptional. Beautiful views of the vineyard. Highly recommend.....we will go back for sure!
Gem in the Valley!. Had Lunch here yesterday and its was fantastic! As we were seated the staff encouraged us to come try the wines which were very good and we proceeded to order a bottle of the sparkling Chenin which is Devine! After that we were presented menus which has a great choice and we quickly found what we wanted! We shared a bread box which was a great choice and followed it with a Wagyu Meatballs(which were out of this world!) and a seafood chowder which was beautiful and creamy with the right balance of seafood! After a short break we ordered our mains I had the lamb shank Wellington as I was entrigued by the description on the menu and did it deliver. Lovely braised shank with a light mushroom duxelle, creamy mush and a rich jus was delicious start to finish. The other half of our meal was a beef rendang which was delightful well balanced and served with a fresh salad that left us wanting more! We ordered dessert and shared a chocolate fondant which was cooked supremely baked well and just oozed over the plate! After taking in the beauty of overlooking the vineyard and great wine and food and attentive service we left but we will be back for more! Well done black swan and good luck see you soon!
FANTASTIC. Had my daughters christening at Black Swan Winery on the weekend and was totally impressed by all aspects of the place. The service and food were first class, the view's were amazing and the kids had a ball playing on the grassed area. Our guest were so impressed that many are now considering Black Swan for their upcoming functions. The food and wine were devine, and the staff were so friendly and very attentive. Will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place for a perfect meal.
Wicked Wagyu. We dined at the Black Swan on Saturday night and we thought the Wagyu was amazing. We had never been here before but we will be back again. The staff were friendly and not intrusive. Great wine too!!
Great food, wine and view. One of my most pleasant food experiences. We had the squid, rabbit cigar and kangaroo. The Black Swan red wine had a nice and clean taste.
It’s been years since I’ve been to Black Swan but it was as good as I remembered.
Had a really lovely lunch with some friends enjoying lovely wine and delicious food.
We decided to order a few different dishes and share for our main. It was a great idea and everything we ordered was fantastic. It also made sure we had room for desert.
We had fantastic friendly and efficient service on the day and will definitely go back.
We had a very enjoyable dining experience. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Charlie was so lovely serving us throughout the meals. Every single meal we ordered were beautifully presented and most of all delicious. We were able to enjoy our meals with a gorgeous view to the winery. Highly recommended.
I often come here for a meal and also they have regular events on which have been fabulous. It has been the same owners for many years now and they consistently serve excellent meals and the staff are very friendly and aim to please. There is a lovely outlook from the back of the restaurant with seating, if you're there on a nice day!
I held my 40th Birthday at Black Swan Wines and I cannot speak highly enough of the service, food, wine we received. I was allowed to have a face painter and also giant outdoor games for the kids. Cara looked after us amazingly and her staff were second to none. If I need to host another event I would not hesitate but to choose Black Swan Winery. Beautiful location, beautiful staff, amazing service!
The atmosphere in Black Swan is rustic and inviting for a relaxing Sunday brunch. When Wendy served us, the entire experience elevated with her fabulous wine recommendations - food was tasty and at perfect proportions. Throughout lunch, Wendy made us feel at home with her attentive and cheerful disposition. Definitely a must visit and a re-visit in Swan Valley. Say hi to Wendy for me please when you visit.
