Review Swan Valley Oasis Resort & Restaurant - Henley Brook

This whole experience was confusing. From the booking to finding the restaurant entrance upon arrival to ordering our food. Website says closing time is 6pm on a Sunday, menu in the restaurant says 8pm, but the wait staff said they actually close at 5pm. No signage at the venue to direct you towards the restaurant so we wondered around until we found it. The menu online was quite different from that being used in the restaurant, and several items listed were not available for order (including a few of the drinks). Ham & cheese toastie was less than mediocre; even a casual cafe does it better. All of the side salads were incredibly underwhelming. The chicken Parmigiana had a very artificial tasting sauce. Wedges were quite yummy though so that's the reason for 2☆s. We used a gift voucher but won't likely return in the future. Also would not recommend.

Christmas Lunch Buffet Disaster! I booked in October using a website that charged a fee to ensure my family, whom I usually host, would have a beautiful Christmas luncheon. On arrival, the time had changed so we lost 1/2 hour because I wasn’t notified, I felt like an intruder, not someone who had paid 1400 dollars to prebook. We were going to be forced to seat outside in 42 degree heat, even after we booked for an in door session, After speaking to at least 3 people my family was jammed into a back table, no room to get up or move - remember this is a Buffett. We were told to wait for a plate - 4 people maybe got a plate. Needless to say by the time we could get in and out the food had rapidly depleted. The prawns were not local, tasty and the chicken was dry. The beef was good. Desert was another thing entirely- suffice to say that I was completely ignored by the service staff when I asked if I could have plum pudding? The array of desserts was excellent- pity we didn’t get to try them. We still had a good 1/2 hour before being booted out. To the manager- you have lost a huge amount of money, customers because the people that accompanied us that Christmas was a small portion of our family and all small business owners themselves.

The rooms are exceptionally clean. Had a fantastic afternoon here. Nice meal. Staff were great. Thankyou Thor. A weekly guy singing everyone was really happy singing along with his covers.or a sing of your choice :)

Getting there was a short drive. Just made a wrong turn after seeing the first signage. Found our way quickly anyway. We check in to the sparky clean spa room. Must say with the price for accommodation is affordable with the luxury of having a spa. Tasty food was order ahead of time by our mates and served on time. Friendly staff.

Can t believe how big the burgers were good value 6 adults could not eat it all worth the money .

Had a wonderful time at this restaurant, catching up with friends. Live entertainment is tops. Food is value for money and enjoyable.

Food was great and amazing. But the service was really slow. We had to wait about 35 - 40 mins for my lunch to come out.

My best friend had her 40th Birthday recently at Swan Valley Oasis Restaurant for 50 people, and we had the best night at this wonderful oasis in the heart of Swan Valley. The staff were attentive and courteous, professionals in their services, and the foods were top stars! We strongly recommend to this place and will plan to come back soon.

The staff were lovely and very efficient. We ordered the package menu for room service and were absolutely amazed at the size of the meals. Fully recommend the river and reef or the chicken parmigania. They were delicious and very generous portions. Our room overlooked the supa golf and putt putt. Gorgeous view.

Had our work Christmas lunch here on Tuesday, food was amazing, staff were attentive. Had a beautiful day. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

This place has serious potential the room was very clean and the resort had plenty to offer, the staff were very helpful when you could find them, and the food was very generously sized but more pub grub quality

"treat to remember" This is our second visit to Oasis Resort, each visit surpassed our high expectation. Possibly the best times we have ever had in a long time. The food and drinks, amenities, venue, restaurant are first class and service by friendly staff was also of high standards. Thor the general manager deserves special mention for her meticulous attention to detail. She comes out and greeted everyone and make sure we are all been looked after. I would recommend Oasis Resort in the highest terms. I also like the idea of starting with "O" in Oasis Resort Henley Brook.

Crap. Came for fathers day set menu, not the same as advertised. Stood in queue for 20 mins for our pre- booked table for 1.00pm . 15-20 mins for drinks... i assume food will take an hour. Not again i a sure you.

One of the nicest places in Swan Valley! It is an Oasis closer to Perth City. The food is great. There are amenities recreation area for the whole family. I enjoyed the place so much and I love to visit again soon!

This place is beautiful with friendly helpful staff, the only thing I was disappointed in was the level of cleanliness. I would stay again but would emphasize on wanting my room cleaned properly.

I called and spoke to the so called manager JESSIE on farther day after my Daughter and her partner had unfortunately attended OASIS RESTAURANT BUFFET. My daughter is 8 months pregnant she tasted the food and complained to the staff that it was, UNCOOKED COLD NO TASTE AND IT MADE HER FEEL SICK. The staff member said nothing we can do you’ve paid for the Buffet and that’s it, she then ordered a jug of Coke only to see the waitress open a 2 litre of Coke that was dusty and pour it into the jug, my daughter said to her that the Coke was Flat to which the waitress said you’ve paid for it nothing we can do. This was a birthday party and my daughter didn’t want to make a scene. So when she came home I was straight on the phone and was promised a refund and a call back, The manager had promised to call me back after I had called on 3 occasions... Monday Tuesday Wednesday no return call, I then called on Thursday and spoke to a so called “duty manageress” she said that the manager had promised the refund and it was being arranged. I then called Friday, Monday, Tuesday and finally after promises of return phone calls I called them at 4 pm asked about the refund to which a manageress became verbally abuse and insulting, I asked for Jessie the manager “ he’s in a meeting” I then said I would like to resolve this refund issue and she said she wanted to see a bank statement of the money being paid to Oasis, to which I said no worries I have that I’m on my way up to see the manager and we can resolve this..... I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN, A MAID WAS SUPPOSEDLY THE ONLY PERSON IN , JESSIE AND THE MANAGER HAD JUST LEFT..... I CALLED HIS MOBILE FOR AN 1 hour to no courtesy of calling me back, so I messaged him informing him as to what happened.... <br/>THEY LIE TO YOU , THEY MADE FALSE ACCUSATIONS ABOUT 5 PEOPLE NOT PAYING ( (you had to pay before you were seated at the table)......

Great food, friently staff and good locaion. Love all the filipino foods, especially the sisig and the giant burger!

Requested well done steak was served almost raw & inedible. All meals came out luke warm. Glass of wine (he doesn’t drink wine) or free desert offered to the person with the raw steak, but was declined. Would have preferred a free or discounted meal, neither of which was offered. <br/>Very disappointing night out & we won’t be back.

Had lunch with the family today for our mum's 72nd birthday. It was cold and rainy but the atmosphere was pleasant, enjoyed the delicious Filipino food, yummy halo halo, and awesome music by the talented June Oronce. Our mum was also surprised with a piece of chocolate cake and we all sung Happy Birthday. Thanks for the memorable and warm experience.... We'll definitely be back😁👍

We had a lovely relaxed Saturday lunch on the verandah overlooking the lovely garden with a guitarist strumming some nice tunes.<br/>The menu was comprehensive including many weekend specials.<br/>We will definitely be back.<br/>A really lovely afternoon

One of the things I miss most about home is the food. I have looked for years for a Filipino restaurant that reminded me of home.... I was so happy when I finally found that I can eat Crispy Patas just as you wpuld find anywhere in the Philippines.... I have recommended Oasis to all of my family and friends.... we have gone back many times and I will return many times more

Travelled with friends and family to try out the talked about halo halo. Ended up trying out the giant burger which was a great addition to the yummy halo halo. The ambiance was very peaceful and airy, making it a very comfortable place to enjoy your food. Lovely and accommodating staff too!

Extremely poor quality of service. The owner took our order and then she promptly forgot about us. At 1 HOUR waiting for our food we asked about our food and the lovely waitress informed us after that they were JUST STARTING to make it. Our drinks that we ordered never came out, so an extremely dissatisfied customer service.<br/><br/>In the end we ended up leaving after the hour and went over to MASH brewery who had the best quality of service and they were very attentive and gave us a time frame of when food would come out. This quality should be the bottom standard of restaurant service.<br/><br/>This is just an honest review and experience, if it was better I would amend my review. But it wasn't.

Pleasant Friday family lunch.. Stunning location with a table backdrop of orchids and views of the treed garden with waterfall. Generous meal portions. My son devoured the ravioli . The asparagus soup was creamy and delicious with the attentive waitress bringing fresh refill jug of water without being asked. Tx for an enjoyable afternoon!

People will always make a return visit in Oasis Restaurant Swan Valley when they enjoy the dining experience. I've been here in 4 times and will definitely come back over and over again because of delectable foods they have especially my most favorite Halo-halo, giant burger and crispy Pata.

Anbiance is actually really nice. The food could be a lot better of they thought about their menu. Service isn't too bad, but there is always room for improvement. Staff are friendly and helpful. Table layout and aesthetics of the place should be updated and modernised.

Me, my family & friends came here last weekend to try the big burger. Its Huge and delicious very worth it. My parents tried their Pinoy Banquet that has 4 Crispy pork portions and halo halo. Family enjoyed a lot but couldn't finish it so we end up taking food home. Great experience for us who haven't been back to Pinas for quite sometime. We'll be back for sure :)

Was here with friends for playing Supa golf, had an incredible time and amazing dinner. Even though we weren't hungry at all, we ended up with ordering super huge burger and special some Filipino Style pork plate, it was sensationally delicious. And just couldn't stop enjoying sweet potato chips, yummy

Beautiful traditional Filipino food. The pork is to die for with perfect crispy skin and the servings are very generous. Ive also had the burger which is huge and has an amazing sauce in it! The staff are lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend coming here and trying the share plate with the perfect pork 😍

Played adventure mini golf and afterwards stopped for a "small" bite to eat with 3 other friends. Ended up ordering their giant burger for $35, a side of fries and some drinks. The burger was great value and better than expected. Really tasty and enjoyable meal with friendly service, even chatted to the owner for a while who was exceptionally chatty and kind. Definitely will be back.

Booked for family gathering of 14. Waited an hour and a half for meals. Food came out in drubs and drabs and the standard was well below standard. The manager was not interested in our complaint as some of the food had been eaten of our plates due to the fact we were hungry. All the manage/owner was concerned about was by refunding 4 of the meals that could not be eaten that she would go broke. We would recommend you stay clear of this place as they don't care about the people who visit and spend there hard earned money and expect a reasonable meal. Drink prices are outrageous ordered a fruit tingle $16 came out in a martini glass. Very disappointing family luncheon. Would not give it 1/10

Came here for market. Stopped for lunch. Thought it's a modern Australian cuisine thingy but they own by Filipinos I think. So food menu was a mix of filipino food and oz. Ordered giant burger which was the size of large pizza in diameter. Came with some chips too. Burger was good and juicy. They have karaoke too. Small mishap though the burger took an hour to come out. Not sure if they forgot about the order or it does take that long to make. But it's ok, not like we are in hurry. Table next to us ordered some platter with pork I think. The pork looks good so might come again to try it. Hopefully serving time won't take as long.

Swan Valley Oasis Restaurant is a great place to catch up with friends. The food so delicious ,I've recommend the Salt and pepper squid so good its my favorite and for sweets I've also recommend the Halo Halo the traditional sweet from the Philippine, the service and staff are friendly as well. Good dining place to take the family in the Swan Valley. Staff are welcoming and friendly. We had the giant beef burger and boy it was really huge and really delicious as well. Very economical- for $35 good for 4 to 5 people. Will be coming back again.

Went here for my sons 21 out of 14 meals only 5 were any good the rest was poor greasy sea food baskets hard rice and over priced and shocking service cost almost $20 for a jug of soft drink for a place that's supposed to be one of the best on swan valley was very disappointed

Went for a family lunch at the Oasis, and was disgusted by the lack of service and appalled by the standard of food. Our meals took over an hour to be brought out and had no taste. Mash potatoes were packet mixes, chicken was dry and my hamburger had a HAIR IN IT - which was still charged to our bill ($28) Prices are unreasonably high for the low quality food. I will never be coming back there again and advising all friend and family to steer clear of the Oasis restaurant. Terrible.

Pinoy Banquet: really enjoyed our meal and great value for sharing. Also tried their Pork Humba and that was delicious too. Glad I don't have to go too far for my filo food fix. Thanks Oasis! :)

What a Waste!. Shocking service. Waited 30 minutes at a table for 6 and realised that nobody was going to take our order. Went to counter and asked that someone take our order. Drinks arrived but no glasses. Went to ask for glasses. Shared entrée arrived but no side plates. Went to ask for side plates. Main meals were delivered individually over a period of 30 minutes. Absolutely disgraceful service and the food was very ordinary and expensive. It is time that someone stepped in to take control of this restaurant as it is letting the other facilities of the Oasis and its beautiful surroundings down.

Disappointing. Sitting here still waiting for food on a not very busy Sunday afternoon. Food is coming out very slowly. Chips are crisp but everything is cold. 2/10 will not come again.

Enter and order at own risk.. This was the worst dinning experience I have ever had the misfortune to experience. When we asked for a table of 6 we were told "oh just put two tables together". We did this. No menus were delivered to us. Went and asked for some. No one came to take our order. We thought you had to order at the counter. No one delivered our drinks. Went to ask someone. Kids nuggets and chips delivered, half and hour before our mains. Husbands burger came out (said it was the worst he had ever eaten). waited for the rest of our meals. Did not eventuate. Went to counter to ask the lady at the service till. No one came to tell us. Got up again. Eventually our teenager son got is schnitzel, which he did not eat as it tasted disgusting. We asked for a refund for the final two meals and we had waited for over an hour by now. Gave our money back. two people were behind us and they too were demanding service and menus but upon hearing our woes they too walked out.<br/>I have never written a bad review, service was....well there was none, food was a disgrace. pity as we had such fun at mini golf and the staff there were lovely and attentive.

Breakfast - could have done it better myself. We had breakfast there in a group after staying the night there.You have to pay and order at the counter in a very dated 80's decor restaurant. The staff were very obliging at both hotel and restaurant. I had poached eggs with smoked salmon which was very expensive at $22. It had a small piece of very average pale looking smoked salmon, 2 poached eggs (OK) on 3 (why 3?) very ordinary tip-top english muffins.

Worst value for money - Buffet. We paid $59 for a buffet for Father's Day and was extremely dissapointed with what they had to offer. 1 starter, 5 hot trays and one cake.. Sorry to say but definitely won't be back there!

Great Breakfast. Stayed the night at the Oasis and decided to have breakfast at their restauraunt. Wife had the Warm Croissants which 2 for breaky was to much but wife loved them. I had the Eggs Benidict, Yummyyyyyyyyyyy. Had been a long time and i'm so glad i had this generous serving of 2 poached eggs, heaps of ham on four muffins. Very enjoyable. Will go again if in the area.

Not worth the wait. The location of this restaurant it's surrounds all look appealing but it's only a lure.<br/><br/>The first impressions on entering is that it looks nice enough, the waitress escorts you to table fairly promptly. She goes away for a short time and returns to take the beverage order and passes around the menu. This particular waitress had an amazing memory, she would take everyone's drink order which I might add was large and she didn't even write any of the order down on paper but knew exactly what we all ordered.<br/><br/>A while after, the amazing memory waitress returns for our orders. She gets all this down on paper this time, goes off to submit our orders and so we are then left to have some table banter amongst friends. She returns again noticing we require refueling and remembers everybody's previous drinks orders asking each of us would we like another of what we had drunk previously and then repeats the order to the table to make certain all is correct, again not written down and she is spot on.<br/><br/>All this was going well as some time had elapsed and a few of us had commented its taken a while for the meals to arrive and as some of us at the table were quite famished. Moments later I got my entree dips and another couple got their garlic bread so that tied us over for a while. <br/><br/>Eventually some of the food orders were brought to the table but the ones that arrived early were the ones out of the frozen I & J boxes (they could have been Homebrand but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt) and I was one to receive a such dish of packet battered fish. <br/><br/>A few minutes later almost all others were receiving their meals, these weren't the packet variety and then again the vegetables could have been but as for the rest of the dish some skill was required to create the meal. There were three orders very similar but only two came together and the third didn't. <br/><br/>So the wait began again, patience was growing thin. Things looked promising when some other ordered meals arrived but these meals had come well before their entrees by this time most of us had nearly finished our I & J triangular shaped fish and battered prawns. Out of a table of ten people eight had their meals within ten minutes of the first I & J meal arriving. After a while all that had their meals where either finished or close to and then the two waiting entrees arrived but these were very sneakily slid onto the table next to their recipients with no apology.<br/><br/>The ninth meal arrived a further ten minutes later and had not the appearance of what was perceived to have been ordered but it was rated as nice, so a tick for taste. Eventually the tenth meal arrived which was similar to two other ordered meals and this would have been close to twenty minutes after everyone else had finished eating.<br/><br/>So a free drink was given to the last meal recipient as a compensation for the delay which was brought out by the owner or chef I think. She apologized and was very nice about it but it didn't fix the poor service. <br/><br/>Did we order desserts! No way, couldn't wait till midnight. As a point of interest for a Saturday night the restaurant would have only been filled to quarter it's capacity. The only good thing about this place was the waitress, she was pleasant and with a great memory.<br/><br/>So we all paid the very hefty bill for the night and won't be going back. :-(

Where is the hospitality of the restaurant ?

Iv been here on several occasions and each visit is fairly enjoyable. The surroundings are lovely. Its great to just enjoy the scenery and dine with friends. My top pick or my personal favorite is their garlic prawns. The richness of the sauce really compliments the wonderfully cooked prawns. And they're such huge prawns. However what iv noticed in my visits is that food delivery times arent consistent particularly during weekends when its busy. Yes it is understood there would be some delay due to the number of people but its management's directive to have more staff on those days to uphold the quality. They should look into. Their location is great, friendly staff and good tasting food. Just those details to make this place even better.

Enjoyed lunch. It was my first time in this restaurant and location wise, it's great. The food choices were great as well, I only got to try the mushroom risotto. It comes in two sizes. I had the mains and should have just started with the entree size as it was huge. Great flavor and went out quite quickly. Will surely come back to try their other meals.

Try the lamb shank. I read all the bad reviews..but my experience was a good one. In every restaurant I always ask for the cook's suggestion. I was told to try the lamb shank and the chicken breast supreme. Both dishes were great and the beautiful surroundings added to the pleasure of going out for lunch. There was no surprise with the bill as all restaurants in the Swan Valley are relatively expensive.

Stayed up 2 nights and it's incomparable. the friendliness of the staff started our first day really great. had dinner and breakfast in the morning and it was absolutely wonderful the food, the service and the environment. very romantic for both of us with my partner. the food was great served on time and hot. To sum it all, with it's quiet and peaceful environment this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Don't waste your time and money. Agree whole heartedly with all other reviews. Really tacky food, and service...what service? <br/>The staff gave us dessert menus reluctantly and never returned to take the order. After waitig for 45 mins, called the waitress to tak the order and she informed us that the kitchen was closed. No regrets though, thought of ordering dessert in an attempt to find something during the meal we could have enjoyed. It was not to be though. <br/>Unfortunately I was a part of a conference, so could not leave. If you are planning to stay there for the weekend or something, please don't. The rooms are aweful too.

Disgusting and overpriced. Will never eat here again. Frozen and microwaved food. Don't eat here!!!!

Only difference from KFC was the price. The only enjoyable part of lunch was the cold beverages in a lovely setting. We should have gone with our gut feeling and walked out the door when whilst awaiting to be seated another diner was complaining loudly about the her fish and the staff member was largely ignoring her complaint. But we continued with our plan for lunch, ordered drinks and then our meals. My husband opted for the chicken parma and I ordered the salmon with the sauce to be put on the side. All of our orders arrived promptly and our server was polite. When our meals arrived they were generous in size but that's where my praise ends. My salmon and also the veges were smothered in the sauce (ordered to be on the side) which when mentioned to the server was brushed aside with an 'oh well I'll tell the chef'; the salmon was nicely cooked but the whole meal was spoiled by the use of far too much salt - maybe this is so you are encouraged to need to purchase more drinks. My husband who normally would clean his plate left half his meal - say no more. When leaving and paying at no time was I asked if we enjoyed our meal, I was just informed that because I was paying with a card I would also have to pay a surcharge. This the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a review - I left angry, hungry and feeling very ripped off!

Such a shame! Restaurant has a lovely setting outside amongst the gardens but it was empty on a Sunday morning when we came for breaky, orders 2 coffees and had a look at the menu, very pricey, big breaky came with scrambled eggs only and not a big selection, after waiting 10 mins for the coffees to come to ended up walking away to have breaky at valley view down the road! Please someone buy a revamp this nice place! Good for golfing I guess!!

Awful. Only table in the restaurant for lunch, slow service. Five of us and the meals trickled out of the kitchen one by one. Bland curry, tough lamb. Store bought desserts. Very expensive. Quality of service did not match prices. No follow up service for water, drinks, desserts, coffee or bill. Had to organise ourselves. Not recommended.

Awful service the worst I've had in a while and we were the only table in there ! $18.00 for a fruit tingle what a joke .... Food overpriced and bland as it comes .... Please somebody do this place a favour and close it down

Returned for around the 5th time today for lunch and as always the chicken parmigiana is one of the best in Perth as are the lamb shanks. Service was very good and prompt as was the delivery of the meals. Looking forward to when we go for lunch again

Terrible food tasted like rubber looked like something that came out of a frozen dinner pack! Will not be returning!

Go to HJ's or Red Rooster instead. What a dump.<br/>Terrible, 'plastic' food. Even worse service. And the price...very expensive.<br/>We had the lunch special. Lasagne was a commercial, heat and save. To make it look like you gat a lot, they stacked it on top off the chips to make it look like you got a big serve. Our other special was chicken parmigana. Synthetic chicken bits squashed together to look like a fillet. Again, from a frozen packet.<br/>The service was terrible. Waited at least 35 minutes to get our food and then they don't bring out the cutlery....so what do we use? Eat with fingers.....Mmmmmm<br/>The bill was $71.50 for three drinks, a share entree and two lunch specials.<br/>This place is disgusting and the Mash Brewery next door is no better (plus 15% surcharge at the brewery because it was public holiday....who are they kidding).<br/>Go here at your own risk because you have been warned!

Not to bad. We went to Oasis last saturday on a family do, I thought the food was quite nice, didn't have to wait to long for it all to be brought out, food was hot, and the price was not to bad

We should have just kept on driving. Nice setting but the restaurant was disappointing. Meals took 45 minutes to come to the table and my pasta was only lukewarm when it arrived and very bland. My husband's curry was quite nice but overpriced for what it was.

Food was average and over priced, service was poor, drinks were badly mixed. General setting was very nice.

We are spending the night here, lovely rooms but room service a little disappointing, food was hot but overpriced. Barramundi was definately not barra, chicken curry was bland and lacking sides that were on the menu. Restuarant was closed which disappointed us as we didn't want to eat in our room which was our only option.

Dissapointing. The food is overly priced.My brother had the chicken parmigiana dish which looked something that came out from a box from the frozen section from supermarket with some cheese slaped on top. Not to mention the fish dish that i had that smelled like mud. Getting to the end, to finaly paying my meals, the manager miscalculated the amount that i was suppose to pay which i pointed out twice and didn't believe until i showed the prices listed on the menu. There are no execuse to serve bad food and over charge your customers eventhough you are under a new management.

Over priced, terrible service & poor communication skills.... Will not be returning any time soon!

Stone cold food. Slow service. Hour wait for 4 meals. Toilets dirty. Overpriced
