Stayed at Peppers for a couple of days and decided to dine here for my birthday dinner. The food, wine and the whole ambience was amazing. Jeremy was the main man there running the dining room so effortless. This guy knew hospitality at its best. Loved the whole evening. Thanks again Jeremy for a special night.

Thank you for an absolutely spectacular degustation dining experience! One of our favourite restaurants. The food is superberbly presented, balanced and incredibly delicious. Paired perfectly by sommelier- Jeremy, who matched all 🍷 amazingly. Will always trust his judgement! The culinary journey blew our minds. My husband and I had a lovely dinner here on a Friday night to start the weekend. The food was amazing. Every mouthful was to die for! We tried so many of the courses because they were all so good. Beautiful service, friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

The Argus was a dining pleasure. From the moment my wife and I arrived to the final sip of my Tokay. The staff are so pleasant and the food of a quality that was a pleasure to devour. With the emphasis on local produce, this came out in the flavours which were so full. The price was very reseasonable and I can't wait to come back again to see what's on the menu next season. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Amazing food, service and space - definitely recommend a pre dinner drink and then the degustation. An intimate space but open, with just the right amount of privacy. Loved the locals and familiar artists on the walls!

Attended for breakfast while staying at the peppers. Dining room was cozy and had a great ambience. Breakfast was included in our stay, but I think it has a set price of circa $30 for visitors. The breakfast started with a share plate of granola & yoghurt, fresh fruits, and flakey fresh croissants. You can also order a barista made coffee along with fresh juices. Following the platter, you then order a hot breakfast from the set menu, which offered 5 different choices to cater for most tastes. We tried the smoked salmon rosti and the country breakfast. Both were very delicious, plated beautifully, and well above the standard of hotel breakfasts. I noticed just one chef in the kitchen, very impressed with her work as the tables filled up during the morning. Excellent way to start the day during our stay!

Absolutely phenomenal. The food was divine. We had a chicken and chorizo risotto, with a side of glazed pumpkins with currants and walnuts, followed by custard tarts for desert. We also had excellent wine in a gorgeous sitting room afterwards. I highly recommend the Cabernet Merlot they have by the glass from SA The ambiance was perfect, with some light jazz playing at just the right volume. And the gardens were a pleasant retreat even in winter. Overall an excellent conference room with easy access to the gardens. I thought the coffee could have been a bit nicer, but it was easy to drink and served hot all the way to lunch. Highly recommend this venue for a conference or lunch. Had an excellent time.

Always the best locals dinner experience. We love the ambience and the changing menu to suit the seasonal menu. We suggest you finish the evening with a tipple by the fire in the lounge after your meal in the dining room.

We usually dine during lunchtime in Argus and the food is really good. Fresh local produce evrrytime. Great value lunch meals along with great atmosphere. Absolutely love the experience. Great for a romantic day out.
