Ordered duck spring rolls and bruschetta for entree. Not sure how they call that a bruschetta with a bit of oil on bread and full of mushrooms it tasted terrible duck spring rolls were greasy. I asked the waitress to tell the chef bruschetta was the worst I had tasted in all our travels. Main we had pork roast and seafood basket, I didn't expect much from roast and it was very ordinary as expected but would of liked the potatoes to at least be cooked. The seafood basket was for my husband and for him to leave 80% of it on his plate it has to be pretty bad the batter on fish and prawns was what you would get on a Pluto pup the fish itself was tasteless. For $85 I expected a decent feed the food at the bistro/restaurant was below ordinary.

The food was delicious, beautifully plated and great value. Broad variety of drinks at great prices. Great deals on each evening. We also appreciated the dedication to those that serviced with a great display, keeping Military service front of mind ( as it should be at an RSL). A courtesy bus is available and the drivers are lovely. Absolutely loved the Hervey Bay RSL. It is a credit to everyone involved in operating it, along with the sub branch. Very progressive.

Spot on. Just had the 3 course roast on Monday night. Slick well oiled machine turning out lovely, filling, healthy food for a very fair price. Staff are great. Will definitely call in again when passing through.

Staff are polite enough but seem a little stressed when busy. We've been there several times and it's hit and miss getting a table. So these guys get booked out more than a few times.
Would it hurt to give your young staff a little more training and support on how to handle it when it gets super busy? When they are stressed, service level drops away noticeably. Customers are almost an inconvenience. That's not how it should be.
Food was great!
Menu is expensive for what is basically pub grub. You won't get out of it for under $30-$40 a head.

We have been here twice, the food was awesome and the club has a lovely feel about it. There was live entertainment on our second visit. The place was pretty busy, but our food came out pretty quick and was delicious both times.

First time visiting this venue. Nice place and good sized dining area. There was a crowd but we managed to get a table. Food was very good and good sized portions. Would recommend.
