Delicious. Our table had the cauliflower popcorn, chips, pumpkin pizza, potato pizza and the caserecci.
Cauli popcorn with turmeric aioli was delicious - a little more of the aioli would have been perfect! 9/10
The potato pizza was so yummy - perfect 10/10
Pumpkin pizza was our least favourite. Just not flavoursome like everything else. 5/10
Caserecci was so yum. Maybe a touch more chilli needed 9/10

They should have a higher score than they do. The pizza here is one of the best in Melbourne. Thin crust and quality ingredients. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere when eating in.
This place is absolutely amazing are used to work there are staff are great it’s this service the owners are lovely people and the food is so bang on point that it blows your mind away when I when out there is a customer I had the best time ever was looked after correctly and my food was cooked to perfection
The pizza is delicious, traditional wood fired thin base, good quality mozzarella, some of the best pizza in the area. The staff are friendly and quick and the atmosphere is fun. The entrees are ok, they need some work but I'll be back for more pizza!
Was extremely surprised at the quality of the pizza here. Service was a little off and the entrees need a little work, but the main meal (pizza) was a hit. They will defiantly be seeing me again :)
Delicious pizzas but don't order dessert as they aren't very impressive. Service is friendly but they are a little slow on busy nights. Salads are delicious and so are the school prawns.
A cosy restaurant with a good kitchen view. Prosciutto pizza was ordered and thoroughly enjoyed. The ingredients fresh and the napoli sauce was simply beautiful with a good pizza base. A must try if you are in the area.
I really liked the atmos of this place. We came in just on 6pm and it wasn't super busy so we got served straight away and our meal came out pretty fast as well. We just got a standard pizza & arancini balls. It was all so good! And was good to share those two dishes between 2 people. And really well priced as well!

Food was very tasty. I had the Aussie Pizza, it tasted wonderful. The base was nice and thin, the toppings were tasty and good density on the pizza. My girlfriend has the Macaroni with some fancy stuff mixed through it. It tasted delicious, although I think the serving was a little small.
Will be coming here again!

Highett has come a long way, I mean a real yl ong way. I used to only use this area as a thoroughfare and that's about it. Now it is littered with quality cafes, bars and eateries. I have eaten at Mr. Humble a number of times and its failed to disappoint. The layout of the restaurant is great, spacious and enough different areas. I love the fact that I am able to see the pizzas being prepared and also brought in and out of the woodfire oven. I truly think that it adds to the excitement of the place. The staff are very friendly and attentive, all seem to have personality and love telling you what wines to match or what specials are on. My favorites here include the calzone - beautiful and crispy on the outside but so juicy, once you crack into it. Filled with ricotta, salami, basil and parmasen it's a wonderful concotion of flavours. Another winner is the proscuitto pizza - something a lot of places offer, but not all can master. Nice, simple and effective. One of the real suprises here is the mini beef burger as a starter - here's a secret, its not so mini. The patty itself is unbelievable and mixed with a milk bun its a great way to start the evening. The calamari is also a nice light addition as a side, its not heavily battered and is super tasty. Looking forward to devouring another pizza here again!
Pizzas are delicious, perfect bases and right amount of toppings! Venue looks awesome with pizza oven hidden behind green tiles! Staff are very friendly and informative! Wine list is also quite decent!

It’s a busy night at Mr Humble. A function is enjoying the semi-private rear area by the colourful peacock mural, and others are enjoying a drink by the front bar, where the windows have been pulled aside, creating large open frontage for patrons to enjoy the weather. A single row of tables runs along one side of the restaurant, the other side being occupied by the bar area and the wood fired oven and counter seats where you can watch all the action.

It was easy to get a park right outside in a pretty busy area right near the station. We got a vino and a birra to drink. We started with some warm olives which were nice but very salty, even for olives. Decent wood fired pizzas and coffees, and friendly staff. I'd stop by next time I'm in the area.
Mr. Humble boasts a 1.5m wood fired oven, and a peacock mural. Come for the pizzas, and stay for the delicious selection of starters and evolving specials. A good strategy, given that the clientele is mostly made up of locals.
Overall it an undeniably delicious and enjoyable meal. While the pizzas here were authentic and made to true Italian specifications, what really shone tonight were their brand new starters. Given time, it’s foreseeable that their pizzas will be perfected to the same level as their starters.
With a constantly evolving starters menu and specials that changes daily, I am extremely thankful to be invited to try, and will definitely be back for more of their rustic Italian dishes.
I'm surprised by the ratings. I love Mr Humble. While it's true that some of the servings of the wood-fired meats are expensive I still feel this is a fabulous place, in a area that's a bit lacking in good restaurants. With a bit of tweaking to the menu they'll do well. The crumbed olives are my go-to, plus any of the pizzas with a salad on the side. Desserts are a bit of a let down I must admit. They are always so friendly. I'd recommend anyone local give this place a go — great service, lovely pizzas and a good vibe in a friendly, little local.
Excellent for just going out with a friend or a loved one, I ordered one of their salami pizza's I forgot the name of it but the base was woodfired and extremely crispy to die for!
Finally something in Highett that is worth going too. Came here for a birthday dinner with eight others and all of us left happy. Amazing pizza's, a good selection of entrees and a great atmosphere. Friendly staff who helped us with selecting our wines and the right amount of food. Thanks Mr Humble, i will be back!!!
There is so much right going for this place but it's just too expensive for what's on offer. Was deeply disappointed that the advertised pork belly was unavailable (not because it was sold out, but because they didn't prepare it). A bit too experimental in their flavouring of the arancini balls that resulted in clashing flavours instead of complementary. The pizza toppings were so sparse that the dominating taste was the yeasty base. Would return if the pricing was more reasonable.
Awesome fast takeaway beautiful thin crust pizza we had the 2 cheese and anchovy salami. and great customer service. I plan to return to dine in. I fully recommend
Been to Mr Humble a couple of times now and love it. Family friendly, great food and prompt service. Kids love the pizzas, hubby and I love the Pork Belly and lamb, and the best gluten free pizza base around

A few months ago after a visit to a pizza restaurant in Mornington I asked “how good can a pizza be” well after a visit to Mr Humble in Highett I have to ask the question “How good can a Pizza get” The answer is I am not sure but the one I had last night was a close to perfection I have ever had. A crisp base with sweet San Marzarno tomatoes with Buffalo Mozzarella, Pickled Eggplant, Smoked Scamoza and sage. The base had that charred flavour that only comes from wood fired ovens and the toppings were so well balanced that not one of the was the star they were all playing an equal roll in what was a master piece of a pizza.
Mr Humble is loud there is no getting away from it but this is what its about, the bare concrete floors and tiled walls of the open kitchen do nothing to deaden the noise, but the noise is not off putting it’s the sound of people having a good time and a mutual appreciation for some truly excellent food.
The staff are attentive, helpful and unobtrusive. They all seem to be having a good time just as much as the diners around us.
We started with a share platter for 2 a selection of meats and fish and a couple of Pea and Broadbean fritters with a black garlic aioli that brought the first “wow” of the evening. The Penja Peppered Kingfish must also get a mention, I am not a lover of fish but for some reason king fish is becoming a favourite as I feel that it lends itself really well to be eaten raw or cured.
The main event was the above mentioned pizza accompanied but a Faro salad with blood orange and witlof, my wife had Crumbed Sardines she paired this with a heirloom tomatoes salad with some more of that creamy soft Buffalo Mozzarella

A suburbanite's haunt.
Every type was there - families, couples, dates, solo diners and small groups. It seemed that everyone felt welcome here.
Mr. Humble's decor is simple and urban with hard surfaces and dark tones which gives it a masculine overtone. The open bar and kitchen is like a stage but no one was watching the show of activity cos the buzz was in the restaurant - lots of chatter.
We had pizzas and salads. The salads were fresh and the pizzas had fluffy bases, minimal topping and were big on flavour. Service was fast and friendly.
Great food! Will be back.
Garlic base, mushrooms, parsley, cheese - what more do you want?! The mushroom pizza is the real winner!
Unless of course you're after something fresh, meaty and delicious! The prosciutto, margarita base topped with fresh prosciutto, rocket and Parmesan cheese! Again. Amazing.
The pea and broadbean fritters are so soft and are full of flavour with the likes of almost a Moroccan twist! Another fav would be the pork belly. Soft, falls apart, has a bed of flavour and crunchy crackle and apple topping. Just incredible.
Service is friendly and quick and cater to all needs. What more could you want? And the best bit. THEY ARE IN THE 'BURBS. Highett. Up and coming! Woo
Tonight was the 2nd time for us at Mr Humble and it was great both times. Service is outstanding, food and wine fantastic. Lamb ribs, Calamari for entree, Prosciutto pizza amazing.

Great relaxed venue. Friendly staff and fantastic pizza with fresh quality igredients. We took the family there and they were great with looking after the kids with allergies.
Highett seems to be getting more and more trendy which is great. I went here last night for takeaway pizza, had the N'Duja pizza which was great and also a adapted a pizza to be vegan which was fantastic as well. Tasted really good quality and I'd definitely go back. Wont stand for this rubbish takeaway pizza anymore - good on them for putting it there. Also you can order in at the Hawker Bar which would be very convenient.
Really enjoyed eating here. The pizza was well-cooked and tasted relatively authentic. Not the greatest Italian pizza I have had, but definitely a huge step up from the other Highett pizza options or Crust. Hopefully it is in the for long haul and gets better and better.
Great food and exceptional service from very friendly wait staff. The only negative might possibly be that it's a little noisy. We will definitely be back👌
Came here for a casual dinner. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive. The food was yummy too although the pizza base was a bit too wet and some of the other portions small. Would recommend this place for a family dinner.

e tried out Mr Humble on one of their first nights open. We put them to the test arriving at five pm with four young children. The staff were fabulous- friendly, attentive, and very knowledgable (highchairs and colouring in were available). The fit out and feel of the place is 'on trend' and fun whilst sophisticated. We ordered the kids Hawaiian pizza and spaghetti and meatballs which were all loved. It was great to see a kids pizza served with beautiful quality ingredients. No compromise taken. The kids topped it off with proper vanilla bean ice cream (yum!) and the staff were more than happy to provide an extra bowl to share for the little ones.
For the adults a few glasses of Pinot Grigio (I forget which, but the wine list provided lots of choice by the glass or bottle) and we shared a calabrese pizza and the wood fired asparagus as a side. Again the quality of ingredients was a stand out and the thin wood fired pizza base was cooked perfectly. I especially loved the asparagus side, served with a dollop of yoghurt and spices- I'd actually go back just for that.
All up very reasonable too- roughly $80 for two adults, 3 littleys and a bub.
I think highett needed a restaurant just like this- family friendly early, but a great place to dine with friends or take a date later in the night.
I can't wait to try it again after they've settled in. I will be back with kids - but next time it will be with friends so I can relax and enjoy the atmosphere and food properly!
Great start. Went with the family for sons birthday. Entrees were great, pizzas need a little work. Need to build ambience a little more. Service ok.
I like this place, i like it a lot. If you like a thin crust pizza that has some good quality toppings (but not too many) then this is your place... The pizza bases here are really delicious.
Great atmosphere and some nice Italian beers as expected...birra moretti in a chilled glass - goes very nicely.
Sunday nights represent great value also with $20 pizza and beer/ wine.

Tasty food & friendly service in a family-friendly restaurant. Mr Humble has fast become a Highett favourite for their great menu and their delight at serving families. Most-highly recommended.
