Review Tuk Tuk@cafe - Highgate

Ming Khor
Went there for dinner with the family. We ordered Massaman Beef Curry (22 dollar), Omellet and Tom Yum Chicken (about 10 dollars). All the food tasted pretty good. This is not a big restaurant. About 2 tables in total. Mainly a takeaway restaurant

Highly recommended.. very friendly staff, clean place and on top of that perfect Thai food with convenient price. Prawn spring rolls are highly recommended ✌️

I couldn't recommend Tuk Tuk Thai enough . I can honestly say it is the best thai food I have ever had whether in Australia or overseas . None of her foods are oily , they are very generous serves, always freshly cooked, very tasty and are very good prices . They are beautiful friendly thai owners and they welcome you with open arms . Never had an issue In all the years I have been coming here . They also do a loyalty program and home delivery to the local area . I would give Tuk Tuk Thai more than 5 stars if I could. Tuk Tuk Thai is a must try.

Incredible Thai food. We have lived around the corner from this restaurant for 1.5 years and now that we’re moving we thought we’d give it a go. We are heartbroken we didn’t try this place earlier as the food is amazing. So fresh and great flavours. The massaman curry is to die for. I will be driving across a few suburbs for this tasty Thai once I have moved :)

Right at the first order, they make you feel welcomed and make you a regular! Awesome place to get some authentic Thai meal. It is very tasty and more than enough. Ingredients are very fresh. I guess they made the dish at the same time of the order! Will visit again!

Visit here regularly for a good lunch special. The Penang Curry is amazing, alternately the satay sticks and roti breads are to die for. Im working my way through the menu. A busy little outlet, great atmosphere, lots of seating inside and out (although outside is noisy due to Lord St Traffic). The service is awesome too. You can park close by on the side streets and walk to the shop.

Outstanding service, generous portions for vegetarian meals and loads of flavour. We especially love the vego Penang curry and the spring rolls are the best you’ll have. The only thing we don’t enjoy from here are the prawn crackers, but everything else has been lovely.

I ordered the som tum spicy for $10 and it was really nice could do with a little more papaya as it was small serve. Also had crispy pork with kailan and that was delicious! Thai ice tea needed a little bit more sugar but overall worth a visit. 2 bowls of rice $40 pretty cheap.

I absolutely love the food here at Tuk Tuk! Totally recommend trying the massaman curry. It's a really small place that could fit just a couple people so I would suggest taking away.

Absolute thai authentic cuisine and huge portion within a reasonable price! I like pineapple fried rice and pla rad prick (deep fried aliced fish with sweel chilli jam sauce). Dont miss thai papaya salad if you are crazy of thai street food.

Far from being a domestic goddess, Mr. T can expect to spend more money eating out than buying groceries from now on. Luckily for us, new places are always cropping up in Perth. One under-the-radar place that is relatively new is Tuk Tuk @Cafe in Highgate. Those familiar to Sparrow Indonesian Restaurant may have seen Tuk Tuk as it is right across the street.

Very nice Thai place with awsome, friendly staff! Food was better than what I ate in Thailand, very fresh and tasty! Reasonably priced as well with generous portions.

A nice little Thai Cafe in an area of East Perth/Highgate where there is not a lot of choice. My office is nearby and my work colleagues and I have been there on a few occasions and the food is outstanding. The service is excellent and the owner is very friendly and helpful, also the food comes out very promptly which is great when you are on a finite amount of time during your lunch beak.

They run a value for money $13 lunch menu and the food is very authentic and the portions are extremely generous .

Overall well worth a visit.
