Review Lot One Kitchen - Hillarys

Very good place to have a brekkie or a lunch. The service was super fast. The food and the smoothies we had were delicious and the paleo banana bread was the cherry on the cake. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace which was really quiet despite the proximity with the road.

Excellent, fast service, even at peak times. Food and drinks were good including the cold pressed juices. Only thing I could fault was slightly overcrisped bacon - definitely try this place!

Loved this place! I booked (would defo recommend to book this place is popular!) And arrived early, the staff were super keen to help sort out a table earlier for us. Brisket burger was amazing! And my new favourite drink is the Carafe of sangria. 100% going back as it genuinely ticks all the boxes. Well done and thank you!

More than I expected. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in which was very nice. I ordered a salmon fritter and it was fabulous. Walking distance to the beach. You can bring dogs and have a coffee and take them for a walk alongside the beach.

Love the new menu options. Staff were friendly and service and food were prompt and efficient. The food was amazing! My favourite is the brisket benny but I love trying all the different choices. My guests had never been before and absolutely loved their "The Lot" brekkies! We all commented how lovely the breakfast tea was and how it stayed hot enough to drink in the little insulated mugs - amazing!

We had a breakfast at Lot One Kitchen for my Mum's 90th birthday. It was superb. Service was amazing and the food excellent. My Mum couldn't have wished for a better experience. Staff were so thoughtful and provided us with table service and a complimentary cocktail for Mum. Thank you so much Lot One.

Prompt service with a relaxed atmosphere, it’s no wonder it’s a hit with the locals. This place is a creative goldmine. Sweet crumpets we’re delicious and the fresh blended juices divine.

Arranged to catch up with some colleagues for breakfast. So glad to be able to head out again post covid and so nice to have attentive service, awesome coffee and breakfast. The place filled out pretty quickly and so booking is a must.

Lovely place. Awesome food. Disappointed that it took ages for our coffee to come. It came after our food and we had ordered the coffee 5mins before the food. Wasn’t overly busy at the time either.

The big breakfast was amazing, very busy place on weekends in the morning but definitely worth the wait. Cant wait to try more of the menu

Everything about this place is on point.
The location is great, the staff are all friendly and service was great and the food was delicious! I definitely recommend the chorizo waffles one of the most delicious things I have had!
The Ponder Room
It’s not too often that I venture away from the city for dinner these days, however my recent visit to modern Australian restaurant, Lot One Kitchen in Hillary’s, was well worth the trip. Lot One Kitchen copyright The Ponder Room. With winter in the air the outdoor area had already been packed up, even though I noted a few blankets on hand. I like to see this edition as these restaurants always seem to go the extra mile in other ways. Inside was a cute haven of warmth and chic that offered a range of seating options. We arrived early to find a loving couple camped to one side in the bench area. After a while a large birthday party arrived and set up in the middle of the restaurant. Throughout the night we were all accommodated without feeling on top of each other.

Lot One Kitchen has certainly built a loyal following over the past couple of years since it opened in Hillarys, just a hop, step and longish jump from the Boat Harbour. With an attractive and comfortable feel – exposed brick walls, eye catching lights, a variety of seating options, interesting and innovative menu it draws large crowds, and especially for weekend brunch.

Great place! Attentive & friendly wait staff. Good range of menu options and not the usual boring dishes, something a little different. Beautiful, fresh food! Spot on! Will be back!

A lovely cafe in the northern suburbs of Perth and it is a great addition to the food scene in this growing area.

Lot One has good food, happy and cheerful staff and a nice ambiance. Because it is a good cafe, it also gets popular so from 10am onwards things get very busy.

The smashed avocado with the hollandaise sauce plus a touch of Harissa paste presents a regular dish that becomes delicious! Recommended. The coffee is of a high standard.

If you are looking for a nice, casual cafe then Lot ONE is the place to go. Parking can be a problem but around the rear of the cafe is an underground car park with spots available once the Pilates crew finish.

I visited Lot One on a Saturday evening as I had heard lots of good things about it. So last evening my wife and I took another two couples along to try it out. We were very disappointed by our experience and would like to warn others about this place.

When we arrived we were immediately struck by how noisy it was. With no ceiling other than the concrete floor and concrete ceiling above, the place does not lend itself to conversation. As we were seated next to a group of loud children we asked to be moved to a quieter section of the restaurant but this was not granted. After some time we were served and ordered entrees. At this point we were told we had to order our mains too, which we did not wish to do as we wanted to see how large our entrees were. As it turned out the entree I ordered was large enough to be a main but of course by now the restaurant had already committed us to our main orders.

After finishing our entrees we then waited close to an hour for our main meals. My main was a hamburger which I saw sitting on the serving shelf for approximately 20 minutes before it was served to me. I said to my fellow guests that this better not be mine as it had sat so long before being served. Alas, it was brought to me and when I said it had been sitting for such a long time, the waitress just plonked it down in front of me and walked away. The meal was cold, mushy and absolutely terrible. I started to eat it but simply could not get it down my throat. After my guests had finished their meals we waited for ages before the wait staff cleared our dirty plates, and then only after we asked them to do this. One staff member even said it wasn't her part of the restaurant so she couldn't do it!! Whilst originally we were also going to order deserts and coffees, we had all had enough by that stage and simply paid our bill and walked out. My wife complained to the chef about our meal but this elicited little empathy.

Therefore, if our experience is anything to go by we do not recommend this place and will definitely not be returning. Overall, we went to this restaurant with great expectations of a good dining experience, but we left feeling we had wasted our money and that no-one at the place cared. Not a great experience and definitely a waste of money.

Great cafe but awkward spot since there's limited parking. Burger and fries were amazing, especially the fries which was the highlight of our meal. Bowl of health I think it's called was pretty average with just some steamed rice, sweet potato and avocado on a plate with no real flavours to it. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and want something with healthy options.

Have been coming here for almost a year and this place never disappoints. Consistently good food and great coffee. Can get a bit loud inside when the doors are shut but outdoor area is casual and nice, especially for breakfast. Handy barista cart outside too for take away coffee.

Had the maple bacon pancakes. Some of the best pancakes I’ve had. It was quite loud inside, but sitting outside was really nice. I’m definitely keen to go back there and see what the other meals taste like. Whenever I saw another plate of food come out for someone else, it looked really well presented. The coffee was quite good also.

I have been getting coffee here every morning after my Pilates class, since it opened. The coffee is amazing, the staff are all so friendly, and there are also so many delicious looking treats in the window.
For months now I have been smelling and watching beautiful creations leave the kitchen, and I can confirm that they are 100% freaking awesome! The food looks great and tastes even better. The wine list is small, but full of great picks to suit any budget.
For the high standard of food, the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed, and you can sit with your pupper al fresco!!

Popped into this cafe for a late midweek lunch. We sat outside in the sun which was nice. Service was friendly and prompt. I had an iced mocha and the smashed avocado - delicious! My partner had a chocolate milkshake and chicken panini, which he also thoroughly enjoyed.
