The food was amazing. The wine amazing and well matched. They catered for gluten free and vegan food without hesitation and with amazing options. Our sommelier Rhiannan and waiter Zach were faultless in their advice and service. Will definitely return

Don't think of this as a restaurant. Think of the Atmosphere as an experience for your senses! This place took us to the greatest heights, we never wanted it to end. We are so grateful to all the amazing people at the Atmosphere who treated us like royalty, it felt like we were the only people in the room. And we had the best table in the house! Thank you 😃

I have never been to a more incredible place to eat! The food was insane, we had 4 light meals to share & a main each & was fabulous! It was our honeymoon so got a glass of sparkling on the house, beautiful wine! My husband is allergic to nuts and they were absolutely fantastic in accommodating us. Would highly highly recommend!
The staff make this place! They are knowledgeable, quirky and friendly and the service is top notch. We have been here a couple of times now and each time we enjoy it more and more. The food and wine are 5 star. Wonderful experience and we look forward to coming back. The views are pretty amazing too, enjoyed watching the sun set behind the mountain .
We had the “Atmosphere” degustation meal and it was absolutely amazing! Every course was a wonderful treat for our taste buds and the staff were very professional and friendly. They served us all at the same time (rare these days), they explained every course in detail and they bent over backwards to treat us exceptionally well. Ten out of ten. We will most definitely be back.
Incredible array of small and interesting dishes that keep you wanting more, along with great wine, great views and well trained and very attentive staff. A must visit. I loved the Gamay.

The staff, food & service was amazing. Fantastic conversations by the staff. We dropped in there for a wine the day after our wedding � � & the gave us a complimentary wine. We then decided to stay for dinner! Food is amazing but was the service for the reason I will return.

Stunning meal at Atmosphere - absolutely incredible. I didn't know the restaurant existed until 24 hours ago, now I'm telling everyone I know how amazing it is. Best meal I've ever had in Hobart, one of the best meals I've had anywhere, ever.
Atmosphere, simply staggeringly good. Rueben and his team have raised the level of dining in Hobart to a whole new height. This must be close to being the best dining experience in Australia.

The Lounge effortlessly balances international flavours with fine Tassie produce. Sophisticated decor interplays form & function - the kitchen’s open to the dining room & thoughtfully engineered acoustics are conducive to *gasp* real life conversation. The look & feel may be poshe but it’s completely accessible & unpretentious. Which explains our primo seating at an elegant, cushy corner booth like the VIPs we so clearly are.
Over 3 indulgent courses, every dish was exciting - it’s impossible to play favourites. The restrained menu merely hinted at the surehanded execution & confidence in that open kitchen. All plates were refined, seasoned to perfection & pretty as a freaken picture. If there’s one regret it’s not ordering a side of duck fat potatoes to accompany the wallaby striploin roast but that’s entirely our bad. Hot tip: do not miss desserts, they’re obscenely good. Predictably Frogmore Creek is showcased on the winelist (yum!) & a select range of international wines are available by the bottle.
Service was unobtrusive, knowledgable & very personable. ‘The salmon’s where it’s at’ was an astute assertion which turned out to be the understatement of the century.

Lovely restaurant, really friendly service, great cocktails. Food was delicious and presented beautifully but didn’t feel overly pretentious which is wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place for drinks in their stunning lounge area and a meal to follow!
Frogmore Creek is one of my favourite wineries in Hobart and I love their ‘art on a plate’ food. It’s so convenient that they now have The Lounge in Hobart City so you can enjoy their food in the evening. The intricacy of the plating and the emphasis on seasonal and Tasmanian produce will make me return time after time. #frogmorecreek #tasmania
After heading to the Frogmore winery the day before I was delighted to discover they had another venue in the city. Same delicious canapés, same award winning wines and a stunning space overlooking the water. Plenty of ambiance inside too with the venue itself beautifully fitted out. Would definitely recommend both of their establishments
Lovely spot.. we stopped in here for a pre-dinner drink. Like so many places on the pier beautiful atmosphere right on the water but well sheltered by glass & heaters.
Shared some shoestring fries & a few drinks. Staff were super friendly & accommodating. Beautiful decor inside was very plush.
Great location right on the water, staff were friendly and attentive. Great small plates to share. Oysters were delicious. Spent a lovely afternoon here. Would definitely return when back in hobart.
I walked past The Lounge one evening and liked the look of it so decided to go there one evening with my wife. The restaurant is very chic and trendy, the tables for two, unlike other places, are very sizeable and comfortable, as are the chairs. The view of the waterfront is unobstructed and quite magnificent. The staff are very professional and courteous, as well as quite knowledgeable of the food. Every dish we had was absolutely spectacular and we loved it so much we went back for a second night and had the same great experience. Highly recommend the Frogmore Cigar dessert. It's a masterpiece and very Heston Blumenthal-like.
Great fine dine spot with a nice range of drinks, good food and excellent views. Great for a date night. The service we had was absolutely top notch and made us feel very special and important. Kept us informed of everything the whole night and accommodated all of our requests with a smile. Entrees were the winner here.

After a visit to the Frogmore Creek Winery during the day and wetting our lips with the various drops - my partner and I were convinced that we had to stop in for a glass or two at The Lounge once we got back to Hobart City Centre from our winery tour. The Lounge is in the perfect spot right on the dock waterfront with a beautiful view! We had already dined and walked around the area but had missed just how close The Lounge was - as we hadn't seen it previously - so I was very glad to know that it wasn't too far away from where we were staying if we wanted to head on over for drinks before we flew home!
Although we came with the intention of drinking a glass or two of the Riesling (which we loved upon tasting), we bought ended up having a Mulled Cider (with Spiced Rum) each and lounged near the bar. I loved the live music too - as it added an extra touch of class but also gave it a relaxed vibe to what could easily be an overly stuffy environment. Staff were friendly and attentive - offering up Hobart tips for travels too. Would come back for food on our next visit!
