The owner was very patient in explaining to us the different options on the menu. I much prefer interacting with the owner in a small shop like this compared to the experience with Indian restaurants in the big smoke.

Clean and decent place. Good if your looking for vegeterain or vegan options. I've been going for 3 days now in a row and I still can't get enough of it. Portions are fine for the price. They have soups everyday. If you are really sick and have the urge of eating home food, then this is your place.
Orders wada and sambar, received them premixed in the box. Very poor way of serving. Lost the taste of wada.
When I called the shop, owner says this is how it's served in Hobart but may not be in India. This is supposed to be an Indian restaurant.

Excellent quality food. I was very impressed by how authentic all the different dishes were made, they were fresh and warm and tasted great. Prices to rival pretty much everything here in Hobart. Totally recommended.
Best vegetarian and Street Indian food in town.
Absolutely amazing food. Not one of those namesake Indian restaurants who call themselves "authentic", but are just bowls of orange gravy with oil dripping out. This one is not just great in taste, but was top notch in its quality and quantity.
