We came here because we read great reviews about their steak & fries. However when we got here, we were told that they have changed their menu. Hence we had roast beef instead with local produce. Not sure what vegetables they were, but so good that it made me eat my greens.
Such delicious food. I love their sustainable attitude towards food. And the size of the chicken schnitzel is absolutely mind-blowing for $15!
Great local place in the heart of Hobart for a cheap chicken schnitzel with chips. After some poor reviews on this meal, they have really noticed and greatly improved it! Fine dining level food in a non-pretentious pub setting. Always warm, great friendly service. They have Two Metre Tall beer on hand pump consistently, which is a unique treat for anyone who likes great beer. I am amazed. Nothing like it. 5 billion stars

Insane food. Great staff. If your in town make the effort to come here it’s probably the best pub food I’ve had! Farm to table is also a great approach to this style of food 👏 well done
