My husband and I visited this cafe last w/end and found all the homemade food amazing and the staff made us feel special and like they were interested in our dining experience. I had zucchini & mint fritters with smashed avocado in between and on top, grilled haloumi, spinach and cherry tomatoes with one of the best chilli sauces - delicious. My husband had scrambled egg and bacon in sourdough with a side of flavoursome large pieces of Huon Valley Mushrooms. My husband likes a really good coffee and his definitely met his high standards.
As I work nearby, guests are often looking for a place with good coffee, after referring and getting great feedback I am confident in continuing to recommend.
One of the city centre’s best kept secrets. Great menu and lovely staff. Got to love being able to order brekkie items until 3pm!
I could have their truly delicious zucchini fritter burger for breakfast AND lunch
First time in to coterie today, well hot damn !!! One of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time. Great atmosphere and the vibe is fantastic. Felt like family walking in. Delicious.
Personalised super friendly and speedy service, amazing coffee and food. Need some breakfast, brunch or afternoon tea? Take away or dine in this is the place to be in Hobart cbd. Keep up the great work team! Love our Coterie & Co. A massive thanks to Kosta Norma and the rest of the #coteriecrew

Wow what an incredible setup right here. It's the little things - Attention to detail is very much on point. Love the crockery & the stunning sweet w/ coffee. Yes it's right on the entrance of Vodafone HQ & Zap fitness but, how good was it to sit, watch people while waiting for service. BTW - we received excellent friendly service. We didn't mind the waiting, it was definitely worth it. Thank you for the stunning flavours // food and coffee. Ty Mumma Norma, Costa & Morgan. Even took a gf there whom lives in Battery point but has never experienced Coterie&Co. I shall return again w/ my family 💜 atmos | warm, buzzing & felt like I could stay as long as I liked. ✌🏾️👌🏾

I wasn’t sure what to expect at Coterie and Co.
Their location at the foot of the Vodafone building is ideal for the hundreds of workers in close proximity, but so often with such a location comes a most unappealing and sterile grab for cash.
Not so at Coterie and Co.
The food was delicious, the service equal parts welcoming and professional, and the décor very cleverly constructed. I can see their outdoor area being very popular come summer time!
There was an element of inconsistency in the coffees we received, but it doesn’t seem to matter so much when there’s a snail on top!
Overall it was a great breakfast among friends. Keep them in mind the next time you’re looking for a breakfast venue!
great coffee an great food and great service wat more could u ask for great café and ambiance in the cafe is brillant coterie and co are ur one stop cafe for ur gret morning coffee and to grab a bite to eat keep up the great work guys
Wow! We literally stumbled off a plane and were dying for food! So we picked up the car, drove into Hobart and saw a sign for Coterie & Co.
Firstly - friendliest staff ever!!!!
We order a few things: champagne (to celebrate day 1 of our honeymoon!), the
Big breakfast, Smashed avo with salmon, an
Almond milk iced coffee and almond milk cap!
Food was perfect! Came our really quickly and was incredible! The coffees were next-level: frothy almond milk (not burnt) and strong coffee (without the bitterness).
We then treated ourselves to a home-made
Salted caramel wagon wheel and home-made
Monte Carlo biscuit - both of which were to die for!!!!
Epic food! Awesome staff! Brilliant service!
Thanks!!!!!
Okay, I admit it, I’m a café snob. I like a few things about a café, in no particular order: ambience, a little urban grunge, I want to be seen by not being seen, fishbowls are good full of cocktails, not people. When Coterie and Co opened in the laneway near work I was dubious. And with a plethora of coffee and food in a one-block radius I couldn’t see a reason to try it....
Alright, alright, I admit it. It’s worth visiting Coterie and Co because the food is awesome, affordable and to our delight, free range. I’d call it a breakfast menu with benefits: several lunchy options, gourmet sandwiches, healthy drinks for adjacent gym bunnies and awesome sweets made by a friend apparently, one we should all have. Yessiree, I’m talking macaroons, a hearty Monte Carlo and other beautiful biscuits, and the official contender for best Hobart homemade Wagon Wheel and bearer of freeze dried berries.
Love this little family run gem. Have been here twice now; for brekky and for a Greek dinner. Great coffee, food and friendly, warm staff, with a lovely little garden courtyard. Will be back before I go home.
A hidden treat in the middle of the city. I recently frequented this cafe for the first time recently, having previously been unaware of it's existence, tucked away in a small alleyway off Liverpool Street.
The food was cooked well. Poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Coffee was brewed well. Service was friendly and efficient. The menu range was satisfactory. Definitely one of the better cafes in a city spoilt for choice. I will be coming back again.
With a change in my place of employment this cafe has been the place for my morning coffee ☕☕
It is great to see a friendly smile and a good coffee ☕
Great food and excellent service.
Come for the friendly atmosphere and stay for the great food and awesome customer service. Perfect for a date or a business catch up.
Great food and friendly service.
Sitting and relaxing outside with a nice coffee - who could ask for more
Really lovely hidden-away cafe in the CBD. Right near my campus and great for a chat or study space. Love the coffee and friendly atmosphere here. Highly recommended!
