What a gorgeous lot of people with a genuine, down to earth vibe, hearty, tasty and varied pub fare and excellent live music :) Staff are always helpful and friendly, and love the bottle shop next store with a good slection of Tassie Vino. Very happy to have this pub as my local xx

Great food, beer and dog friendly owners. We were welcomed to start and end a group Greyhound walk and were looked after like royalty! What a find and with a huge car park and sunny enclosed courtyard but close to the centre of Hobart with great shops nearby and the Rivulet walk. Just excellent and such caring and friendly service.
Very friendly (and dog friendly) pub with excellent food and some wonderful ales on tap. Highly recommended.

We had the most beautiful meal today. Steaks were to die for and the super Schnitzel ( parmies style ) was beautiful. The staff were lovely as well. Will most definitely be back.
Popped into here by chance tonight, and what a great decision that was! Superb food, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, fantastic vibe, then to add to this we were treated to a jam session by some local musicians� What a great night, Tassie and The Cascade Hotel are well and truly alive�
Food and service is always spot on! Come here every couple of weeks and all the staff are friendly and welcoming always.
I have'nt been there for yrs I had the Greyhound but found it very over done and dry I only ate half of it so was a waste of $$ and way too many chips!! I don't think I will return.
The best meal we have had in ages. We will be going back for sure.
Enjoyed a family birthday dinner here recently. The service from Sam was excellent, thank you so much, and also to the lovely lady on front of house. We brought a birthday cake with us, they didn't mind at all and carried it out to our table at the appropriate time, with candles lit and Sam singing. :) Will be back!
