Banjos Bakery Cafe Salamanca - Hobart - Photo album

Banjo's never let's me down. The service is outstanding. The sausage rolls and pie are one of the best quality I have ever eaten. The pastry is buttery and flakey, full of flavour and just melts in your mouth. The pies have loads of filling and quality beef is used. I would highly recommend this
Famous Tassie pie shop chain Very good pies. So far I have had curried chicken, pepper beef and curried scallop. All have a little kick but the curried scallop is the clear winner. They don't skimp on the scallops It's not gourmet but it is classic and a tad more.
Absolute ripper pies đź‘Ś great outdoor and indoor setting, coffee isn't too bad either
Banjo’s had great sausage rolls at a decent price. I definitely recommend you to go to banjo’s if your thinking off having bakery near the Salamanca markets.
I was served by a lady who was very kind and enthusiastic. Unsure of her name but she was very friendly and professional, greeting customers with a “Good morning and a “how are you”. That goes a long way nowadays. She deserves a pay rise
Great pies, freshly baked on the premises and reasonably priced. The famous scallop pies are seasonal (unfortunately), but a great selection of delicious options, generous fillings too. We visit the Salamanca store every time were down from Melbourne!
Good coffee. Amazing dense sunflower loaf. Pepper Beef Grim pies were very peppery... I liked them too peppery for my wife
Ordered croissant, quick service but the product was very poor. Soggy and cold even after being 'toasted.' You are better off going elsewhere for breakfast/lunch, there are lots of good options around.
