We tried Malik during a recent holiday and loved it! The food was beautiful, staff were lovely and helpful and its a warm, well decorated space.
Lovely little restaurant at the end of the North Hobart strip. Smallish seating capacity of maybe 40, quality fit out, great atmosphere.
Attentive staff, good little wine list.
Food was a hit with us, thoroughly enjoyed everything that we had.

This place is a winner. Delicious food, relaxed restaurant, excellent service. As a table of 5, we shared the lamb, beef, chicken and fish as mains accompanied with carrots, potatoes and the tomato and haloumi salad. Everything was suburb. I normally don’t order chicken out (as I cook it so much at home), but I think this was the dish of the night. The chicken was so tender and the figs made it delicious. I’m so glad this restaurant has arrived in Hobart.
