Maning Reef Cafe - Hobart - Photo album

Chips were soggy, small portions of fish for the price. Very disappointed as it used to be amazing a few years ago. Very hesitant to go back again.
Pretty damb average for price. Small amounts of fish and even smaller portions of chips in a large box, won't be going back again 😒
Great little stop outside of Hobart. We need lunch at 2:30pm and all the other restaurants and cafes nearby close their kitchen at 2pm. We had a great fish and chips and steak sandwiches here and the service was friendly and very fast! Would definitely come again
Disappointing. Service was fast and friendly but that is all it seems to be going for it. I ordered flathead and chips, they looked really nice in the box, but both the fish and chips were dry and chewy. It needed loads to sauce to eat it. It will be rather a while before visiting again.
Great service but fried food was not. Baked salmon was very nice. Pizzas coming out of the oven looked and smelled great and next time I would order. However the calamari, scallops and anything deep fried was dripping in batter and soaked in oil. Would recommend but stick with things coming out
I was looking forward to a friendly establishment. The fish looked scrumptious. I indulged in a hot pizza. Very surprised at the number of locals who visited this establishment. I will return.
Delicious, fresh in-season scallops, and perfectly cooked potato chips. Friendly service and comfortable dining outdoors and in. I chose to sit outside originally, but the staff noticed it was getting cooler and politely offered me an indoor table, which was just lovely.
Great fresh food! Friendly service and great view. Had the vegetable sanger (tempura vegies with lettuce and tomato in a bun) with sweet potato fries with chili plum sauce. Yummy!
