Brillant location on Salamanca square. We had a room on the first floor, really hot in there (March). Could not have windows open due to street noise and no air con (desk fan provided thankfully). Bathroom small with no fan for when showering. Small kitchen looked good with fridge, stove top etc but we did not use. Clean and comfortable otherwise.

Stayed in the hotel with my partner for 4 nights.
The good:
The location is great, there are heaps of bars and restaurants within walking distance, the stone walls and exposed ceiling beams are really cool and unique, the bed is comfortable, linen and towels were good, we couldn't hear any noise from the pub while in the room.
The bad:
TV is outdated and small, no smart TV in a "4 star" hotel in 2022 doesn't seem right to me. Lighting is a little dim in certain areas of the room, water pressure of the shower was bad, only 1 roll of toilet paper provided for 2 people on a 4 night stay. The soundproofing between floors of the apartment isn't good, constantly sounded like people were stomping around upstairs.
Overall it was a decent stay, but I don't think it's worth the asking price in its current state to be honest.

Thought their $10 pizza was excellent value. Big feed for one, good snack for two. My $5 bubbly was nice too. Nice atmosphere and location. Has a large cocktail list too.

Great service and location. Stayed here with my partner late Jan, absolutely beautiful accommodation, excellent Covid procedures you don't need to see anyone to check in, we did go down to the bar but you could see as many or as few people as you were comfortable with. Food was great we took up to our room one night for an easy night in. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Went on a Tuesday at 5pm. Cozy seating and relaxed atmosphere. The $10 pumpkin pizza was perfectly cooked and tasty. Asked for extra mushroom on top which they did for no extra charge. The gent who served us was lovely too. Overall great experience

We dropped into here for cocktails after dinner. Excellent and friendly service. A great find. Liam was an excellent host and great fun. Thanks for topping off a great evening.

We stayed in a room with no view...in fact there was a dead bird outside our window! The room was nice and the stone walls were unique. Bath was superb. The whole place needs a bit of love including the carpet, light fixtures and cleaning the windows. The location though is tops. You can't get any closer to Salamanca if you tried. Great eateries on your door step and as a quick weekend jaunt in Hobart we couldn't complain. Beds comfy.

Avoid the gnocchi! It’s served in a weird soup of vinegar and gravy, it’s hard to imagine anyone with functioning taste buds could enjoy it. Apart from that, the flatbread was good and the lamb ragout was ok. Drinks are way overpriced, unless you like Great Northern - expect to pay $12 for a schooner and ~$15 for a small glass of wine.
