Gluten free popcorn chickens are soooo good. We went there for chickens haha And the guy who is working at the shop is super kind and we went there so many times while we are in Hobart. Thank you so much for your generosity❤️
The Kraken basket is the best value. The quality is great and you get a choice of sauce. So good, but couldn't finish it all. A gem of a place for great fish and chips.
Ignore the location/interior, the food is why we went and this certainly didn't disappoint.
Various version of fish'n'chips and a few burgers later and we honestly say, well done

The chips were horrible! And for $6 you would think we would get a decent amount for a family but no it was a handful and they were horrible 🤢 The chicken tasted like fish and the kids wouldn't eat the "potatoes cakes" either as they also tasted like fish! Give this place a huge miss
Fish is always nice but very expensive. Always seem to have run out of things on the menu which is quite annoying.
Interior decor such as tables and chairs seem to be always sticky as fly paper, used to always be a rather bad stench when you walked in that smelt like somebody had dropped a jobbie on
They've got the fried chips down to a T. Savouring each piece right to the end (rare for me when I buy large chips). Could be because their chips haven't retained oils. Will try other menu items next time 👍
Oh my gosh - what a dream. Kraken is such a gem 💎 to have amazing gluten free options that are celiac safe. SEPARATE FRYER! Ate here twice during a trip to Hobart.
