Travelling through Hobart and I had a craving for pizza on this cold winters night and after reading the high reviews, thought we would check it out for ourselves and so glad we did.
First of all, the service is outstanding, the young lady was very professional, easy to talk to and friendly. She even came out and turned on the heating for us and offered us cold water. She is an asset to this pizza place.
Didn't take long for our food to arrive on our table.
I love my pizzas and have had pizzas from all over the world (USA, NZ and of course AUS for example) and deadset, this is the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life hands down. The base was a perfect thickness, the quality ingredients used (the prosciutto was so damm good and loved how there was a good amount on the pizza), the sauces, the flavours, it was all perfect (we ordered the Connoisseur and Buffalo Bill). It was all mouthwatering and loved it all. Cooked to perfection.
I could not fault one thing at all.
What also really impressed me was the way the pizza was cut (bite size pieces I think they called it) . I will be honest, at first I was like will this work but after eating pizza this way, I will always only eat pizza this way. Brilliant idea.
The pizza cafe/restaurant has a simple layout yet elegant and very welcoming/cosy and I loved it. Felt very welcoming.
There is a great range of beer to choose from.
You know how when you travel and you find a place you love and next time you return you go back, well this place has done that to me.
If you are a local or travelling through Hobart, I highly recommend/suggest you check this place out, you won't regret it (unfortunately I will need to wait until I am in town next, am from VIC).

This is by far the best pizza I have ever had. I ordered the inferno pizza, and I would 100% recommend 10 times over (if you like something on the spicy side). The service was incredible and the owner was so friendly! Definitely pop in and support this small business!

Really good pizza!!! Crustiness and flavour is on point. But stand out is the way they cut the pizza! Revolutionised the way I eat pizza! I will never cut a pizza any different again! The best! Also threw in a free garlic bread for us! Legends!!!
Had a great pizza, also manager very friendly. I feel sorry for alot of places in Hobart, you get a 1 star rating Because the food was a bit late. or the service was a little off that night. And people get on here think they are a MasterChef/expert of restaurants and food and give a poor rating.
Best gluten free pizza I have ever had!
The staff are super helpful and friendly, bases made in house, the toppings are to die for, cosy outdoor dining and a great music playlist! Would highly recommend going to metro pizza if you live or are visiting Hobart!
Just had the best calamari and chips from this pizzeria. So crunchy and fresh. Great beer garden, varied menu and quick service for lunch during the week!
