Waterman's Hotel - Hobart - Photo album

Brillant location on Salamanca square. We had a room on the first floor, really hot in there (March). Could not have windows open due to street noise and no air con (desk fan provided thankfully). Bathroom small with no fan for when showering. Small kitchen looked good with fridge, stove top etc but
Stayed in the hotel with my partner for 4 nights. The good: The location is great, there are heaps of bars and restaurants within walking distance, the stone walls and exposed ceiling beams are really cool and unique, the bed is comfortable, linen and towels were good, we couldn't hear any noise fr
Thought their $10 pizza was excellent value. Big feed for one, good snack for two. My $5 bubbly was nice too. Nice atmosphere and location. Has a large cocktail list too.

Food was great we took up to o
Went on a Tuesday at 5pm. Cozy seating and relaxed atmosphere. The $10 pumpkin pizza was perfectly cooked and tasty. Asked for extra mushroom on top which they did for no extra charge. The gent who served us was lovely too. Overall great experience
We dropped into here for cocktails after dinner. Excellent and friendly service. A great find. Liam was an excellent host and great fun. Thanks for topping off a great evening.

The whole place needs a bit of love including the carpet, light fixtures and cleaning the windows. The location though is tops. You can't get any c
Avoid the gnocchi! It’s served in a weird soup of vinegar and gravy, it’s hard to imagine anyone with functioning taste buds could enjoy it. Apart from that, the flatbread was good and the lamb ragout was ok. Drinks are way overpriced, unless you like Great Northern - expect to pay $12 for a schoone
