Eaglehawk Cafe - Hobart - Photo album

Stopped off for a leg stretch and drink to break up a long drive. Clean presentation. Crumbed flathead and chips could probably have done with more chips. The flatty was ok, nothing too flash. Then again, I was sitting outside under a roof with fresh air around me so that's worth a few extra bucks.
The hamburger was very tasty. The menu looks really good with lots of things to try. Good stopping point on the way out to port Arthur
Lovely cafe which we stumbled across on the way to Port Arthur. They had a good menu and loads of spaces to sit in. We even had a fire on the morning we were there.
Lovely, peaceful setting on the way to and from Port Arthur. Lots of seating. Delicious brekky and stopped back for a scallop pie to go! Amazing. Service was lovely too!
Had lunch here today. The place was beautiful and well presented. We ordered 2 scallop pie and chips The pies were dry and the pastry soft and a bit burnt and the scallops were shrivelled Unfortunately they have been reheated once too often. Very disappointing
We stopped in here for a coffee and a muffin. The woman was very rude. When I asked what muffins she had she just pointed to the writing on the glass. There was about 6 different flavours written. So I asked, assuming that this rotates and there might not be all the flavours left. What if I couldn’t
Wood log fire, nope it was gas, cafe, nope it’s a take away joint, salt and pepper squid, nope just deep friend cheap squid! Service was however friendly. Food was ok at best! Toilets locked, inside and had to get opened!
Food was ok, but waitress was very rude. Wouldn’t let us use the toilets or have a glass of water. We ordered take-away but before we left asked if we could sit down for a bit and she told us no even though the place was empty. 2 stars because the chips were really good
