This place is a great little gem in North Hobart. Although the menu isn't huge, the quality of food that I tried was fantastic. The tables are well spaced, the staff efficient and friendly, and the music isn't too loud, but a nice background hum.
The coffee is good as well and the chai is decent. Well worth a visit.

Great all around experience here. I stopped by while I waited for a table for dinner across the road and the team were very accomodating and even more friendly! The dirty martini was a throw ‘left field’ but the bartenders made a delicious beverage that I enjoyed alongside my cheeseboard. I even got to try a sneaky Tassy ginger beer - which I would 100% recommend pairing with the Brie - it gave a mouthful of sweet + heavy + creamy wonderfulness! Haha

We had a good night but I don't think I'd race back. It was a fairly cold night around 4 degrees. The heaters were struggling to keep up and our $135 1.2kg tomahawk steak which was very thick and cooked to medium rare was still fridge cold in the middle. That aside the flavours were delicious.

Visited with some family who had been before and said good things. Great location and interesting menu. We shared a range of small plates and enjoyed all the food, although it took a very long time for it to come out. Unfortunately our night was spoiled with indifferent and disappointing service. They are not on the ball and we had to ask for another round of drinks and to get more water. They seem more interested in hanging out at the bar than checking in on customers. We ordered dessert but they forgot about it and we waited almost an hour. When it arrived, the golden syrup dumplings were poor. We weren't charged for them which is fair. All in all, a mixed night.

We stopped in for an impromptu dessert on a saturday night, and were given a seat immediately despite not having a booking. We were both very happy with our meals, and it was really nice to learn that the friendly waiter we'd been chatting with was also the owner. That was the fourth time we've visited, and I look forward to the fifth. Great spot.

Great venue, lovely staff. Food, sub par pub food at a trendy restaurant price. Salmon lacked flavour, greens and salad with salmon bland. Salt on the table would go a long way.
Lamb shoulder, okay but portion not worth the price. Lovely wallaby gnocchi but the Ragù was very dominant.
Had a great time but I wouldn’t bother next time I’m down.

I really like this place and have been back many times, just had a bad night l suppose? Made too many execuse's about simple things, bagging things they don't have over what they have instead, did not make me feel comfortable in front of others at the table neither did the others feel comfortable, l would give five stars, but just not this time sorry as the service and banter wasn't good from some staff..... maybe Sunday is not a good day to go, but it was a Birthday treat......

The hot/cold share platter for $120 was nearly half a kilo of boiled potatoes and couple slices of supermarket smoked salmon. The salad was green leaves with no dressing. The pate was completely off, Im surprises we didn't end up with Staph poisoning. The staff were dismissive and then tried to charge us in full after we returned the platter without being able to eat any of it. The manager didn't bother to even talk to us. Extremely disappointed.
